Why authorization for cost center groups does not worked ?

hello all,
I would like to give authorization for a CO report (S_ALR_87013625) based on authorization values : cost center groups.
But, unfortunately, it doesn't work. I get a message : No authorization for x of x read records.
Is it only possible to give authorization on standard hierarchy and cost center ?

We are using SRM 4.0 with backend ECC 5.0.
Input help for attributes cost center (CNT), WBS element (PRO) are not functioning.
When tried to search for input help (F4) on the above attributes, I am getting message "Display not possible (Inconsistency in the input help)".
I even applied SAP note 746788 for cost center search help.
Can you tell me if I have missed any config settings?

Did you managed the transactional RFC destination in the customizing (where you define all your log. systems it is an additional field in the table control).

Authorization on cost center group

Dear all,
I have to set up authorizations for reports (e. g. S_ALR_87013611) based on the cost center group (means the user should only see data of cost centers which belong to the cost center group he is authorized for).
I think this should be possible via the authorization object K_CCA (field RESPAREA) but it just worked for entries in 'Cost Center' and 'Authoriz.Hier.' but not for 'Cost Center Group' (that's what I would need).
Has anyone an idea how to solve this?
We are running ECC 6.0.

Hi,
The relevant authorisation objects are as follows:
K_CSKS_SET: This will allow display/change/creation of groups based on activity selected.
K_CCA: This is a general authorisation object (relevant activites should be 0003, 3027, 3029). You are obviously trying to run a report. For running a report the relevant authorisation object is K_REPO_CCA, which sadly does not have cost center group as a selection, only cost center values and ranges.
However, K_CCA will work, if the cost center group that you have entered in the authorisation is also present in the standard hierarchy. Can you test this, enter a cost center group from the standard hierarchy and not just any group that you have created seperately. The authorisation should get restricted to that group.

Dear Expert,
I find the Maintenance Work order to cost center settlement does not post to GL module (FI)?Also, the settlement cost element is primary element define in GL chart of account.
When an maintenance order is settled with KO88 or KO8G the work order value posted cost center and the value is display in cost center report but not post to GL module in FI.As I notice only good issue or receive to/from work order is posted in GL but not the settlement of work order.Why?
Between, Kindly advise what are the report or T-code to view the maintenance order is done the settlement and what are the value is settle for maintenance work order?
Kindly advice under what circumstance when maintenance work order to cost center settlement is posted to GL(FI module)?

Hi Kiran,
The error message clearly says that "Cost Center validity starts from 01.10.2014" i.e. in the future period.
Change the cost center from period in the past date and try.

MDG-F - Replication model for Cost Center Group

Hello
We are trying to create IDOC replication model for Cost center group IDOC_COSTG for data model 0G (MDG 7.0).
When trying to assign "Outbound Parameter" = SEND_DELTA_INFO against outbound implementation 1112, we are getting error message saying : "Entry 1112 SEND_DELTA_INFO does not exist in DRFC_PARO (check table)".
While checking table DRFC_PARO via SE16, it shows all the entries for 1012 (GL mast), 1102 (cost center) but it is missing entry for 1112 (cost center group).
What are we missing? How to generate entry in this check table DRFC_PARO? which step is creating this entry?

You have to maintain this entry in following table -
Go to SM30. Give table name - DRFV_PARO and click on maintain. You will get a pop-up for outbound implementation. Give 1112 and proceed. Add the send_delta_info in the table, save it and then add it in DRF. Do add package_data so that you can send multiple cost centers in your target system.

Substitution written under cost center accounting is not working for tcode MB1B but working for MIGO_GI

Do you know why this behaviour different for subtitution written under cost center accounting.
We have written substitution using coding block table. Logic of substitution is in case of any GL maintained in a set is being used for posting , then we will replace the cost center with profit center vlaue. Reason being we have same naming convention for Cost center and Profit center.

Hi,
MB1B is t-code for stock transfer posting.
Stock transfer posting generate FI document using balance sheet account, not P&L account.
Because you don’t create cost elements using balance sheet accounts related to stock, I think that Substitution written under cost center accounting is not working for tcode MB1B is right.

Hi,
The tables for storing groups in SAP are SETNODE and SETLEAF. The codes in the previous message posted by my fellow SAP consultant are transactions and not tables.
The classes are:
Cost centres - 0101
Cost elements - 0102
Profit centres - 0106

Groups does not work in Mail under Mavericks

Its not just smart groups, by I cannot get any of my Groups to work with Mail under Mavericks. I am weary of having to type out the address for each person separately. Is there some better way?

I don't know why typing he name of a regular group does not work for you, but…
Another way is to open the address panel, select a group, then select all in the group, then click the two button.

Wow, that's an interesting one - seems as though the sharedCursorPane has
some hard requirement that the base App be mx (this isn't terribly
surprising, considering it was built with the mx components, but it's still
a bug). Can you link against the source code (provided for player 10 now!),
and change that line in sharedCursorPane :

To :
stage.removeEventListener(MouseEvent.MOUSE_MOVE, onMouseMove);
and see if that works for you? I can't honestly tell why we're using the
line that was there... It's possible this was a workaround for another
issue. Anyhow, if you wouldn't mind being the guinea pig for this one, we
can get to the bottom of it.

Need a drop down list for cost center group

Hello,
I need to add the cost center group selection option to my program. I have added it to the selection options of my program and I would like to have a drop down list on this field. I have looked at the t-code KS13 and I am thinking that this is what I need. I am not sure if this is a search help or something else. if this is a search help, is it possible to use the same search help in my program? can some please let me know how I would do this in my program?   possibly a code example?
