Why CallsAnsweredToHalf is greater than CallsHandledHalf in daily report?

I am using Cisco 8.5.2.
I understand the definition of CallsHandled and CallsAnswered. They may not always equal because it may counted in the next reporting interval.
However, why it doesn't equal in a daily report?
Checked Termination_Call_Detail has 14 calls which equals to CallsHandled. But, CallsAnswered is 16. It is quite strange....what is the extra 2?

Can someone explain above situation, please?

There are a couple of reasons why "physical reads" can exceed "logical reads" - one is a side effect of dynamic samplng, the other is a side effect of running dbms_stats. You could check the captured SQL to see if it offers any evidence for either of these activities during the snapshot interval.

Total of %db time column is greater than 100 in AWR report

Hello,
I have a query regarding "To 5 timed foreground events" section of AWR report.
On many occassions I found that the sum of all the values in the %db time column as mentioned above is grater than 100.
How can percentage be greater than 100?

In the above case the total comes up to just 100.07 % but I have seen reports where the total goes beyond 120 % -130 %.
Can you explain why this happens, please?

Showing the amper sign and greater than sign in a report

I am saving html code to the table and it saves exactly as I save it but when I display it I need to replace certain characters with other values so it shows as it was saved.

Example:
the greater than sign I replace with an amper sign, gt;
the less than sign I replace with an amper sign, lt;
the chr(10) I replace with a BR tag.
If I save the "amper sign, gt;" to the database what do I use to have it show an " amper sign, gt;" in my report column?

DBMS_XMLGEN.convert(<<value>>, 0)
when retreiving from the table and
DBMS_XMLGEN.convert(<<value>>, 1)
when saving to the database.
This package will take care of all of your special characters.

Why do 15.4" Macbook Pro's not support resolutions greater than 1440 x 900?

Hi.
I am a Microsoft .net software developer and am seriously considering getting a Macbook Pro to do some iPhone development. My company has provided me with a 15.4" Dell Precision M4400 that features an LED-backlit screen and nVidia Quadro FX 770M discrete graphics card, supporting 1920 x 1200 native resolution. I'd like to know why the 15.4" Macbook Pro's do not support anything greater than 1440 x 900 when it seems entirely possible? I understand that 17" MBP's do support 1920 x 1200 but it is not currently an option I'm considering pursuing due to the increased size and weight.

Just to be clear, since you're bringing up graphics cards - the 15" MBP supports up to 2560x1600 resolution on an external display, and simultaneously supports full native resolution on the internal display. As Phil points out, the native resolution of the 15" MBP's internal display is 1440x900, and Apple does not offer a higher resolution option for that model (although higher resolution 15" displays do exist). As to why that's the case, only Apple can answer that or change that.

Why domain functional level should be greater than or equal to forest FL?

We know that domain functional level must be greater than or equal to forest functional level. Why is that so?

Active Directory Recycle Bin needs to be implemented in a forest with 2008 R2 forest functional level. Because it was added in 2008 R2 operating system. In order to have a 2008 R2 forest functional level you need to raise all the child domains DFL's first.

-Xmx greater than 180M does not start jvm on a 2gb machine, why?

Hi, we have developed a product demo shown as an applet that uses the java plug-in to startup.
The demo requires high amount of memory so we modified the java plug-in -xms and -xmx values in the control panel so more memory is available to the applet. What we can not see is why using values higher than -Xmx187M the applet does not start launching an error message either in Explorer of Firefox telling it has been unable to load the jvm. Using the value of -Xmx180M the applet starts but the out of memory message is displayed very soon as the demo requires at least 700M.
We are using:
� JRE1.6_u02
� IE7. FireFox 2.0.0.7
� Computer: 2GB Ram, CoreDuo2.
Does any of you why this limitation in the maximum java heap size?

I don't understand the logic for when it will error out on the -Xmx setting.One obvious idea leaps to my mind - because windows doesn't do it.

Why do I get the message that download will take greater than 12 HOURS with a high speed connection?

When trying to download the free version of Firefox the time shows as "greater than 12 hours". The download can not be achieved then with a satelite connection - it will exceed download allowance. Can not even get started.

Is the Modem Routing ?
Is the Base Station set to "Share An IP" ?
(i.e are there two DHCP servers on your LAN ?)
Is Internet Sharing On in th G5s System Preferences > Sharing pane ?
In the Base Station is Port Mapping Protocol Enabled if it is doing routing ?
It is in the NAT tab of the Internet Pane.
Is the G5 also doing WiFi to the Base Station ?
Also check the Modem is not Blocking PINGS as this log shows no PING (But I am not sure it even got that far)

Schedule line getting confirmed when Ordered Quanity is greater than stock.

Hi Sap Gurus,
We have an issue in one of the sales scenario.
In one of the sales orders the ordered quanity is purposely maintained greater than the stock at respective storage location(batch managed).
In this case the schedule line should not get confirmed and it should not allow delivery document creation.
But in the sales order the schedule lines are geeting confirmed and even the delivery document is getting created with picking request completion.
Could you please help to understand :
1. why the schedule lines are getting confirmed when ordered quantity > Inventory?
2. How do I stop delivery document creaton in this scenario?

Is Availability Check in your system considering Replenishment Lead time, if yes, then this is possible.

GREATER THAN symbol appearing as &gt ; in SQL*Plus

We are a Software vedor firm.We have sent our SQL files to our client to execute. But the codes for various procedures and functions were failing
because, in their SQL*Plus session (in Putty) the LESS THAN character < was appearing as &lt ; and GREATER THAN character > was appearing as &gt ;
In the original code which we had sent to them has no problems with > or < characters.

I checked with my client. They have put our scripts in Collabnet SVN version control and the implementor DBA will be provided the http URL .
Apparently SVN is accessed using http protocol and yes you are right it is opened through a browser by typing an URL like below
http://10.80.16.214:79839/svn/brcf/DBfiles/2012/WMHReleasel8/hrtb_pkt_wave.sqlFor most of the end users , the GREATER THAN character appears as > without any issues . For some users it appears as &gt ; . One potential cause is the difference in Internet Explorer version. They are currently looking into this.

MRTG Out Greater than In

Hello Net Pros,
I have configured a MRTG system to give me the traffic analysis of my AS5350 Gateway's serial WAN Interface. Now in my graph the "Current In" value displayed is always smaller than the "Current Out". The same is for "Average" and "Max" values. Also I have configured the codec "g729r8" and all the originating calls coming in from our carriers to our terminating gateway [AS5350] are using this codec. If I multiply the "Number of DS0s in Use" with the average bandwidth consumed by one call using "g729r8" i.e. 12.8 kbps then this calculated value never matches the traffic analysis shown for the serial WAN interface. We had access-lists on the AS5350 Gateway. We tried removing the access-lists, but no improvement. Still the same result. What I am not able to understand is a] why my Out is always greater than my In and b] why the values shown in the traffic analysis for the serial WAN interface never match the value for the total bandwidth consumed by the active calls [using codec g729r8].
Could someone try to help me diagnose this problem??

but 1st of all the codec g729 is around 20 to 22k
so if u do the math the bandwidth calculation will be ok
now for the up is greater than the down this is due to codec so dont worry ,try to change the codec and u will see the change
this is nothing to be worried about

Unable to send messages with attachments greater than 5 Mb using iPad 2

We are running into an issue in our organization where messages forwarded or composed from an iPad 2 ( iOS 6.1.0.3) with an attachment greater than 5 Mb fail to send.
iOS devices connect through MobileIron into Exchange 2010 SP1 RU8. Our message restriction on the Exchange end is 25 Mb.
Our MobileIron support team has ruled out any issue on their end. We cannot determine if the matter resides with the devide or Exchange, though we are suspecting the device.
We are able to forward or compose messages up to 5 Mb without an issue. We have also been able to receive different attachments up to 17 Mb without too much trouble, the exception being a 12 Mb MP4 video. The 12 Mb MP4 file would not download. This is why we're suspecting a device issue.
Has anyone run into something similar?

Are you certain it is not a limitation with your SMTP-server? OR the receiving end of your larger-than-10MB message?
Try and send a big one to yourself. If it doesn't work, try a free SMTP server.
