Why can i no longer e-mail my numbers spreadsheet?

It used to work just fine, but now that I bought a Mac, it no longer works.

From Numbers help:
Choose Share > “Send via Mail” and then choose Numbers, Excel, or PDF from the submenu.
If you still have a problem. Mac OS Version, Numbers version & which Mail account could help.

In previous versions I have been able to export images within the Numbers file to and Excel file. I was able to do this up to three weeks ago!
Now when I export to Excel the Images are being removed. This is extremely inconvenient as I use this product to generate reports to my executives across Asia and this is no longer possible with this product. Every other member uses Excel for this report and I am not on the outside, unable to participate fully in the conversations or modifications to critical performance reports!
Would you please advise how I can now continue to use Numbers to:
     a. Generate this report type
     b. Review reports provided to me
     c. Update and return reports provided for review and contributions?

1) I suggest if your job depends on a particular tool you that tool. My suggestion is to purchase Excel and use the same tool as everyone else. For times then you need not share with other use Excel.
2) I dropped an image in a Numbers file then exported to excel using the menu item "File > Export To > Excel..." then opened the file in LibreOffice (a free office clone). That worked fine. So I cannot confirm your reported problem. Can you share what version of Numbers you are using? Have you tried restarting your computer? What about have your tried a simple test where you create a new document, then drop a picture into that file and then export to excel? Maybe the document you are using is corrupt.

Why can't I edit one of my Numbers spreadsheets ?

This is not a new spreadsheet and I have always been able to edit it. I have not had any new or software updates. I can open other Numbers spread sheets but not this one. I have used Disk Utility to repair permissions after every update.
But the last time I used Disk Utility I got this message "SUID file "System/Library/Core..... has been modified and will not be repaired."
I am using an iMac OS 10.9.1
Numbers version 3.1
I will be grateful for any suggestions.

What happens when you try to edit your document? Do you get an error message? Spinning beachball? Numbers crashes? something else? It is likely a corrupted file that will be unrepairable but maybe it is not.
Personally, I repair permissions before an update. I don't want the update to fail because it couldn't do something it needed to. Of course, this might be superstition, it might not help at all.

After installing Mavericks, why can I no longer delete junk mail on my iMAC Mail program? Also, mail is sometimes slow to load in mornings on my iMac after it has appeared on my iPhone. I temporarily solved that by shutting down and reopening mail two or three times.

I have the same problem on my iMac. Most of what it puts in the "junk folder" is junk. I delete all of the messages in the folder and they're back the next time I check it. I have messages in that folder that have were received 2 months ago! I'm thinking of unchecking "junk folder" in preferences. Very frustrating.

This happened ever since google dropped support for exchange. There is a work around.
go to settings
then mail contacts and calendars.
Add account
select other
select under calendars.......add caldav account
then goes as follows
server: m.google.com
username: full email
password: your pass duh!
description: whatever you want!!!

go to Help Menu -> select "Restart with Add-ons Disabled"
Check if it works without Add-ons.
Firefox will close then it will open up with just basic Firefox. You can enable the Add-ons later. Check and tell if its working.

This is the second time in three months this has occurred. Bell Aliant suggested I contact Apple directly as the only option is to remove my e-mail account and reconfigure it. This will mean losing all my files. These files are very important as my account is a business account.
Bell Aliant thought perhaps it is an Apple problem and that Apple may better be able to remedy the situation without me losing my e-mail files.

An Internet email provider losses all your Mail and it's Apple's fault ??
Did they explain how the app managed to delete all of your mail and then not even let you have access ?
If that was the case the app should still be able to access the empty folders.
I know there is often blame and counter blame in these situations but there are limits.

This is farcical and a real problem having to email them individually to myself and is totally inefficient time wise compared to previously using image capture! Why change this when it was working well and very quickly until the latest change. Now I have to move files from downloads into an appropriate folder, after emailing each individual edited image to myself, then I have to open in Photoshop and rename the file. This is ludicrous and takes forever to do!

That will result in this window:
The version number is right underneath Mac OSX.

This is book # 13 and I've not encountered this problem before. I am dragging photos into the sourse pane but they are not imported. The new method for getting at the "option" symbols works fine in other places like spotlight, but now even the older "option+letter" doesn't work in most places.

Chrome doesn't support the new accent/diacritics/macron chooser. I'm not sure about other browsers such as Firefox. You can use the old Option+letter combination that Doug suggested. Hopefully updates will solve these little incompatibilities shortly.
