Why can I no longer see .mts files on my Sony Video Camera
before I upgraded to Mountan Lion, I could hook my Sony Video Camera up to the USB port and see the .MTS files on my Mac. Now when I hook the camera up, I can no longer see the files. I have to hook the camera up to a windows machine, copy the files from the camera to a dropbox folder or DVD. Then I can see them on my Mac from the dropbox folder or DVD. Why did I lose the ability to see the files directly on the camera?

Why can I no longer see CS6 in creative cloud
Why can I no longer see CS6 to download in Creative Cloud?
HI Intro,
Once you will launch Creative Cloud Desktop you will get the option "Find new apps" and a drop down in front of it.
On the Drop down menu you need to select "Previous Version".
Once you do that you will get the option to download the Creative Cloud applications.
Please check and let me if it works or not.
Thanks,

Why can I no longer import Mp4r files from my desktop (Macbook Pro) into Itunes? Seemed to work perfectly well before the latest upgrade. Feeling quite annoyed, especially when all the forums seem to give the same advice, which no longer seems to work!! Please can someone help! Uploading a file should not be this difficult!!!
Make sure you have the Quicktime Player 7 installed. It was an option when installing Lion. Or you can get it here: QuickTime Player 7 for Mac OS X v10.6.3 or later. Install it, reboot and try again.

CS4 can no longer see mts files
I can't be sure, but it seems that after an update today that started when I opened Premiere Pro CS4, my projects can no longer see any of the mts files , even in the media browser. It can see other types of files, just not mts. This IS a full version (NOT trial) of Premiere. All was working for the past week and a half since I first installed the Production Suite CS4. Now I get the red "Media Offline" screen on the source and program monitors. Media Browser cannot see any of the mts files. What has happened? How can this be fixed. The Adobe updater downloaded 9 updates when I opened Premiere, but the download seemed to hang. I chose to let it resume the update later when I hit cancel. When I rebooted and brought up Premiere, it finished the download and ran the install of the updates. Seems as though the update may have messed up my FULL VERSION status somehow. The important thing is that I can no longer see any mts files, and the rendered file also produces the red media offline screen.
Check your iPod's hard drive for errors. Open My Computer, right-click the drive, Click Properties, Tools, Check Now..., Select Options, Start.
Some of your missing files/folders may be restored although their names may be lost. 4gb is the max. file size on FAT32 so are we talking a 42gb folder rather than a single file?

After upgrading to Yosemite, I can no longer see my router in the Airport Utility application. In Finder, my router shows up as an AirPort Time Capsule but when I try to select it, I get message saying it can't connect. I can, however, connect to the internet through the router.
I reset my router and I can now see it.

Why can I no longer open .doc files with Word2011
I can no longer open .doc files with Word 2011. .docx files are not a problem. Everything stops responding as soon as I try to open a .doc file and I have to do a manual reboot (by holding the power button down). This seems to coincide with my update to Mavericks OSX. I have Word version 14.3.9.
A colleague of mine is having the exact same problem.
I tried repairing my disk permissions but this didn't help.
Please advise.You may want to ask your Office for Mac question in the Office for Mac forums: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/mac?auth=1

Why can't I open/see PDF files that are embedded in an email or sent through the internet?
I can read/see PDF files that are attached to an email, but I can't see/read them if they are embedded in an email or sent through the internet.
I have a similar problem. I can open, read, and save PDF files, but I can't view my online bank statement on my Mac. The statement opens automatically if I use a PC, but on my Mac the page says I need Adobe Reader to view my statement. I already have the latest version of Adobe Reader. The problem seems to be that that the plugin only goes to the Libray. It doesn't get installed into Safari or into FireFox either.

Why can I no longer open jpeg files in camera raw in CS2? The option is grayed out in Bridge
I was forced to download CS2 from the web after Adobe stopped allowing me to register it from my disks and now I can no longer open files in camera raw. Am I missing something?
As far as i know, photoshop cs2 and adobe bridge 1 (cs2) could not open jpegs or tiffs into camera raw, only camera raw files.
I believe photoshop cs3 was the first version to allow jpegs to be opened in camera raw.
Are you sure you had photoshop cs2 before?
If on the other hand, you can't open camera raw files that you used to be able to open, then you probably just need to update the camera raw plugin to version 3.7

Why can't a user see all files in a network share?
Windows Server 2008 R2 is sharing a folder. Advanced Sharing permissions give Everyone Full Control.
NTFS Permissions give the OU "Operations" read/modify permissions.
In the Operations OU, 1 user (let's call him John) cannot see all the files in this folder. For example, here is the real contents of the folder:
File1
File2
File3
File4
File5
Everyone in the Operations OU sees all the files, except John. When John opens the folder, he sees:
File2
File4
File5
Several files are simply missing from the list. I have no idea where to look for help on this one. The files are dynamically added to the folder each day, and each day are cleared out. So every day it is a new set of files being generated (they are coming
from a PDF printer). There is no pattern to which files John can see, and which he cannot. Does anyone have any ideas?
JesseI had the same problem, and it was related to permissions. My PCs are now running Windows 8.1 and folder properties are set to display file name extensions of all files. The 2 invisible files are File1 and File3 in your example. I have copied them to
both PCs. Computer A can see them on its own drive, and on computer B via UNC. Computer B can see them on its own drive, but not
on computer A via UNC. The cause: computer B didn't have permissions on these 2 files on computer A. I was starting the UNC directly from File Explorer, and, in my case, this uses HomeUsers for permissions (over my home network). So, on computer A, I gave
permissions on these 2 files to the user HomeUsers and that fixed the problem. I will also create a more general solution using inherited permissions.
Specifically, I selected the file and chose properties/security/advanced/add/select a principal, then typed HomeUsers "Check Names", OK, and selected the desired permissions. This fits your situation: the files are being created automatically and
don't have the correct permissions for the other PC to see them. Inherited permissions should fix it.

Why can't my EJB see common files inside war file?
My DataProcessorBean packaged in an ear file can't find a local class(JDomUtils) during runtime.
It compiles fine, it's accessible in my IDE, and I can see it also in the war file contained in the ear but getting this error.
Caused by: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Lcom/app/util/xpath/JDomUtils;
Any suggestions?
DataProcessorBean.java
import com.app.util.xpath.JDomUtils;
public class DataProcessorBean implements SessionBean {
SessionContext sessionContext;
private JDomUtils domUtils;
JDomUtils.java Found inside: app.war\WEB-INF\classes\com\app\util\xpath\JDomUtils
package com.app.util.xpath;
public class JDomUtils {
public JDomUtils() {
Edited by: 917903 on Aug 16, 2012 2:18 PMIf I got you right your EJB is packaged in the jar which is in ear.
Your util-class is in war which is in ear too.
In such case you can't get access from Bean to Util class because of classloaders rule.
Possible solution is to move your Util class to APP-INF\lib. In such case it will be shared by all the modules that you have in your ear.

Why can I no longer see my non-smart playlists? where did they go?
I have an extensive list of playlists, both smart and non-smart. I can currently see all my smart playlists, but my non-smart ones are no longer visible. They are there on my ipod, which I havnt' sync'ed in a while. I am afraid to sync my ipod, if it will rease the nonsmart lists. What happened?
Try the following:
1 - launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
2 - Run Option #1, Repair Permissions, followed by Option #4, Rebuild Database, if needed.

Why can I no longer see the genius option on my iPod touch 4g
A few weeks ago I had an option when playing a song to turn on genius (on my iPod) between the repeat and shuffle buttons and it is no longer there. How can I get it back?
No they were different accounts, AOL account had $$ credit. I think maybe the difference was the AOL account used my full email address while the apple account dropped the @aol.com. I have tried what you suggested but recieve this "apple ID has not been used with iTunes"

Why Can I No Longer View .PSD Files In Windows?
Recently, I installed PS CS3 10.0 Extended on my PC. It replaced PS CS3 10.0.1 Extended, a version which was not mine. Before the change, I was able to 'view' the .PSD files in Windows. Now, all I am able to view is the icon.
I addressed this in the Microsoft forums, to no avail, as of yet.
Is this an issue with Windows or, perhaps, a setting in PS? I am at a loss and would appreciate any help.
Sincerely,
Su HallSu,
The display of PSD's in Windows is related to the psicon.dll (think that is the correct name). It was included for years in PS, but was discontinued, due to troubles at about the time of XP. At one time, the user could get a copy of that .dll, and install it, however at a point in the past, that trick stopped working for most users. Not sure why you had the Thumbnails for a while, but not now. My guess is that the .dll was removed, or corrupted.
I just use other utilities, like Bridge, and ThumbsPlus, and seldom have my View Option set to Thumbnails in Windows.
Good luck,
Hunt

For years I have had no problems editing photos. However, for some reason when I go to "edit" my photo the photo turns BLACK/BLANK. The editing functions appear but I cannot see the photo. When I select "done" the photo reappears. Why is the photo disappearing for editing? Have I hit a command accidentally that is causing this? Really appreciate someone's assistance.
Try the following:
1 - launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
2 - Run Option #1, Repair Permissions, followed by Option #4, Rebuild Database, if needed.
