Why can I not copy paste anymore in Dreamweaver CC?

Help! Why can I not copy paste anymore in Dreamweaver CC? It was working fine a week ago, did not install or delete anything in this time, the options from the pull down menu are ghosted, ctrl+c ctrl+v doesnt work. I could use paste special from the pull down menu and did. Paste special worked once, now is ghosted too.

Try renaming the Configuration folder to Configuration-backup.

Why can't I copy/paste an image to Yahoo! Mail on Firefox?

It's quite odd.
From any other browser I'm able to copy and paste an image straight into the e-mail body of Yahoo! Mail (meaning, not an attachement but actually pasting the image), but not from Firefox. Upon doing some research on-line, many a folk seem to agree that said feature is not supported by Firefox. Is this true? If so, why?

Not sure if this is the same thing, but I've noticed a strange bug between Office for Mac 2007 and OS X 10.8, which is that often I have to hit 'command-C' to copy several times repeatedly before anything is actually copied to the clipboard.
I haven't spent time tracking down what causes that, but give it a try and see if the paste function works after doing that. Basically, when you hit 'command-C' in Word you should see the 'Edit' menu in the menubar flash blue briefly as you do it. If it doesn't, then it's not copied.
Like I said, I find hitting 'command-C' rapidly a few times in succession normally does the trick.

Why can't I copy/paste album art in latest version of iTunes?

I have the latest version of iTunes and I am unable to copy/paste album art from the internet. Whenever I try to copy/paste album art from Amazon, it just displays a blank box. I was able to copy/paste album art just fine before the last iTunes update. Any suggestions?

Artwork seems to cut/paste in my situation, but does not "attach" to the file so the icons appear as generic in a list view or when viewing the file using "get info". Also noticed that cut and paste does not work for text in the comments window either, especially if the copied text contains style changes (underlines, etc.) or hyperlinks.
Also, if importing AIFF files into iTunes, the song that plays upon import (usually the highest numbered track) will not accept artwork no matter what, unless you convert to another file type (like AAC). The only workaround is to make a copy of the last song, rename it with a higher track number, then import both at the same time. Then just delete the higher numbered track. This has been an on again/off again problem for at least the last 3-4 versions of iTunes.

Why can't I copy/paste tables correctly? (CS6)

Sorry for having to ask such a basic question. I am new to ID.
I am following this tutorial:

At 25:10, he creates a 2x16 table into which he pastes a table from iWork Pages. He does this by:
- Selecting the entire table in Pages
- Selecting every cell in the blank ID table
- Copying the Pages table and hitting paste in ID
The Pages table is mapped, cell for cell, to the ID table.
However, when I try this method, only the lefthand side of the ID table is populated. Every Pages cell ends up in the left hand column (the number of rows increases to accommodate them) and the right hand side is left empty.
What am I doing wrong? Is this the standard way of copying/pasting tables? Is there a better method?

Arghh. As far as I can tell, I'm doing all that. It just won't paste properly.
Here's what I do:
Using type tool, I click on the destination frame.
I insert the 2x16 table.
I select all the cells in Pages and copy them.
Using type tool, I select all the cells in ID.
I hit paste.
The only thing I can think of it that ID is expecting the table in one format, and Pages is copying the table to the clipboard in another format.

Make sure you have the latest version of IDM (version 6.04), based on comments elsewhere that version should support Firefox 4.

Why can I not copy text from a file and paste into "File Name" when saving?

I thought I used to do this but I cannot copy a string of text from within AI (CS5, CS6 or CC) then "save as" and paste into the "file name" field. Why would this be?
This proceedure works fine in Photoshop.

I am copying the characters not the object. Something seems to have changed at the system level. I can paste the text to other applications (Skype, Word, etc.) but not the "Save" dialog. I have been pasting the text to a Skype message window and re-copying. Then it will paste into the save dialog. Weird.
I see you are on 10.6.8. Maybe it's a system difference.

Why Can't I Copy/Paste Into Dreamweaver CS6?

I am running Windows XP Professional w/ Service Pack 3 and I have Dreamweaver CS4 and CS6 installed.
When I work on sites in CS6 I find I'm having issues with copying and pasting. It doesn't matter where I try to pull the information from, it won't paste into Dreamweaver CS6 (code view or design view). It seems to work fine in CS4, as well as every other application I try to paste to.
I don't have CS4 and CS6 open simultaneously. I just kept CS4 because it had a bunch of info on other sites I need to transfer over, as well as testing CS6 before fully commiting to it.
Any insight or help would be appreciated.

I have this problem, too, and it's driving me f'n crazy, too!
While I'm happy other forum members are offering to help by asking diagnostic questions, why grill us over what we have installed and what we can and can't do? This is a problem shared by many users. Why is the burden of "proof' on our shoulders? No offense meant, Nancy and Murray, but are you going to be able to resolve this bug? Unless you work at Adobe, I doubt it! It's not something WE are doing.
I've been using Dreamweaver since version 1.0 in 1998 or so, and I've never had this problem. It seems like something that should be pretty basic to identify and fix. Shouldn't Adobe be on these forums asking what programs we have installed on our machines and what we can and can't do? What help is it if a fellow forum member asks these questions? Adobe is a major corporation that should be listening to our issues, especially if we're forking over $600 PER YEAR for Creative Cloud!
This problem needs to be fixed, and it needs to be fixed now. I can't work like this!

Why can't I copy, paste or save as text?

I use a Mac v. 10.6.7 and Adobe reader v. 9.4.4. In my job, I get sent a variety of documents in Adobe. Sometimes I can copy and paste text and sometimes I can't. What is the secret that will allow me to quickly and reliably copy and paste text from an Adobe document to a Word document? And I've tried saving Adobe documents as text and never, not once, has the document been saved as text. The new Adobe file always is just blank. Thank you for your help.

For the most part yes.
There are some idiosyncrasies with using OCR so unless you are creating the scans themselves and can control how they are being created, you may run across some that don't work easily.
I would suggest installing the trial version of Acrobat. It's good for 30 days and by then you should have a good idea whether it will work for your situation.

Why can I not make purchases anymore?!?!

For days now I've been getting a message dialog whenever I try to make purchases. It says:
"The Itunes Store is unable to process purchases at this time." and,
"Credit card processing is temporarily unavailable. You may continue to browse the store. Please try to make your purchase later."
It matters not whether I use paypal or any credit card. And I am definitely connected to the internet.
Why is this happening? Does Apple not want my hard-earned money anymore for their DRM-laden media?
Also, I have iTunes on 2 computers. One is version 6 and the other is version 7. Neither work.

Why can I not copy a library to a HD? It's around 18GB and seems to stop around 126mb with a error message -36?

The library is currently on my MacBook Pro and I've even tried connecting it through a Firewire cable and using the PB as an external HD, but I'm not allowed to move it to my iMac? Why? Help...

Thanks Kirby for giving me the lead that it wasn't an Aperture problem per se.. You were right.
Well I actually found two ways around the problem:
I connect the iMac as an external HD and made a backup Vault directly on it. Then I succesfully restored the project after I disconnected the iMac and the library now works fine.
But still being annoyed by the cause, I then generated thumbnails in the project and found four files that looked 'funky'. After I deleted those from the original library on my MacBook Pro, I could copy the library without problems to any drive.
Hope someone else might find this helpful, but thanks again Kirby for your reply, which was correct.

No, iCloud does not provide such a service. Look inti Dropbox or Sugarsync for iDisk-like features. Basic accounts are free.

Why has playlist for videos been removed? As I have nearly as much movies as music that need to be grouped, why can I not group them anymore instead of going thru 500 icons to find what I want to see. This has to be fixed!

Dont even try player xtreme. Didn't work. Or video clip that was recommended for a dollar. Didnt work either to get around this problem!

Why can i NOT copy from my itunes library to my Nano

I have a Nano that was being ued on my girlfiend's old mac, but we no longer have it. Instead I want to use my computer at work as my itunes library. I have restored & reformatted the Nano to the PC, but it won't allow me to add any of the music from the itunes to the nano! What's going on?

are you getting an error message? if so, what does it say? include error message numbers if you're getting any.
or is something else going on? if so, describe what happens when you try to transfer music to the nano as best as you can. err on the side of too much detail rather than too little.

Why can I not install Firefox anymore using -ms?

I use to be able to install the downloaded versions of Mozilla Firefox using a simple switch on the command line. The switch was -ms. It worked great through, I think, version 24.0. No versions after that have worked. Is there a reason? It there an "easy" workaround? I've seen stuff that tells you create a config file and add it to the install. Surely there is an easier way? Anybody know something that will work? Appreciate any help with this.
