I AM SURE THAT YOU (MR/MS ROBOT) HAVE FOUND A QUESTION SIMILAR TO MINE BECAUSE I HAVE ALSO FOUND A SIMILAR QUESTION SIMILAR TO MINE. AND_AND I FOUND A SOULTION THAT RUNS FOR MANY PAGES ASKING ME TO COPY AND PASTE MULTIPLE ENTRIES TO POSSIBLY SOLVE
THE ISSUE. REALLY!!!!!!!DON'T YOU (WHO EVER YOU ARE) THINK THAT IT WOULD BE MORE EFFICIENT TO CORRECT THIS ISSUE FIXING CODE SINCE THIS ISSUE HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR SEVERAL YEARS? OH, PLEASE EXCUSE ME YOUR MOST HONORABLE..........I ALWAYS SEEM TO

Based on my understanding, your issue is you cannot create folder in Windows 7, right?
Did you fix it?
This issue might be caused by corrupted system file.
If I am right and you haven't resolve your issue, we could try the following method:

Why Can't I create a new folder in yahoo email? (I can if I use Internet Explorer)

I still use yahoo email a lot. I am also a big fan of firefox. But today I noticed a problem. I wanted to move an email to a new folder but I can't get yahoo to give me a prompt so that I can put in a folder name. Also I wanted to print an email an email and I can't get the print box to come up. Usually all I have to do is click on actions and then print message. Firefox usually brings up it's popup blocker, and then I tell it it is ok to allow popups from yahoo. But right now it won't give me that. I tried turning off my popup blocker, and that didn't seem to help either. I also noticed that whenever I click on things in my email stuff seems kinda slow. It says "loading" for while and then does or doesn't do what I want it to do. At first I thought maybe the problem is flash player. I did a flash player re install, but that didn't help. I decided to bring out Internet Explorer just in case that I could get my email to work with that browser. I was surprised to discover that everything worked perfectly in Internet Explorer. Then I decided maybe Firefox should be reinstalled. I uninstalled Firefox and then downloaded a new copy of it. Then I rebooted, and installed the new copy. The browser is noticeably faster and smoother then the old install but I am still having trouble with it and my yahoo email.

I just did a test in google chrome. I can not create a folder under google chrome, but I can create a folder under Internet Explorer.

trying on ipad, iphone and new iMAC. Trying to get same functionality I had in Outlook for managing email. I now understand I need to use email with IMAP protocol, and my current primary email provider (Frontier) does not allow that option. So before I dump Outlook and switch email accounts to an IMAP enabled provider I want to know how I will be able to manage email with Apple's mail program. Since I have all these new Apple devices I want to be able to manage all email from any of them. I have two external hardrives that are self powered and require no outlet. I've begun to use all of the memory on one and want to use another. I plug in the second and creating a folder isn't an option. I set up the first hard drive through my mac, but the second was given to me as a gift and I didn't have to set it up with my mac. How can I solve this problem?

It sounds like the second disk drive is not formated so that the Mac can write to it.
You are going to have to reformat it to HFS+.
If you do that all of the data on it will be erased so backup anything of value first.

Carolyn explained this above (restart) but here it is again....
Hold down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and slide to shut off. Hold down on the sleep button until the Apple logos appears then let go of the button and the iPad will restart. See if that helps.

I can no longer create a new folder on my desktop

Both my boyfriend and I have searched ad nauseum and cannot find out why I can no longer create a new folder on my desktop. When we try, we get an error message that says "the operation can't be completed because you don't have the necessary permission" (a Finder pop-up error message). I am the administrator and logged in as such. Anyone have any idea where in Settings, etc., that we can change this? Thanks.

Click on the Desktop and press command-I (Get Info).
Expand the General section of the Info window and be sure the Locked checkbox is unchecked.
If this is OK, then look at the Sharing & Permissions section at the bottom. Tell us everything you see there, or post a screenshot.

Why does Pages keep creating a new folder everytime I save?

There must be some easy explanation for this but there's a weird quirk in Pages '09 that I don't know how to turn off.
Every time I save a document, not only does it save, but it creates a new folder with some new files labeled buildVersionHistory.plist and index.xml and then a subfolder called Quicklook within which there's a thumbnail.jpg.
No idea why it's doing this but it's really clogging up my folders and it seems totally unnecessary. Can anybody help me turn it off?

Do you have Stuffit installed and are saving to the desktop?
Because in that case it is Stuffit decompressing the Pages document's package.
Just save to your document folder.
