Why can I not do a Wi-Fi sync, and what should I expect when I do?

My wife and I each have an iPad 2 and an iPhone 4 all with OIS 5, and I don't understand how iTunes wi-fi sync is supposed to work assuming that you can help me get it to work. Her laptop is running Windows Vista, and my pc is running Windows XP. My first question is why can I not achieve a wi-fi sync after following the simple instructions on the Apple devices in Settings>General>iTunes Wi-Fi Sync? My second question is does Wi-Fi Syncing sync everything as does a cable-connected sync or is it only for syncing iTunes Store purchases with our Apple devices and our Windows versions of iTunes and not for photos or music files not purchased from iTunes? Thanks!

Sync does the same thing regardless of whether is is via the cable or Wi-Fi... there is no difference.
Now, if you want help on why the Wi-Fi sync is not working, it would help to provide some details on what is or is not happening.

Why can I not copy text from a file and paste into "File Name" when saving?

I thought I used to do this but I cannot copy a string of text from within AI (CS5, CS6 or CC) then "save as" and paste into the "file name" field. Why would this be?
This proceedure works fine in Photoshop.

I am copying the characters not the object. Something seems to have changed at the system level. I can paste the text to other applications (Skype, Word, etc.) but not the "Save" dialog. I have been pasting the text to a Skype message window and re-copying. Then it will paste into the save dialog. Weird.
I see you are on 10.6.8. Maybe it's a system difference.

Why do my photos on my computer take up 5.5 GB but syncing them to my iPod Touch they take up around 15 GB, and why can I only select one folder to sync, and not multiple folders?

I have wiped the iPod a few times and tried from different computers. All the small things get more frustrating every day with apple.

The Camera roll, on the iPod Touch, is where photos taken by the iPod (if it has a camera), screenshots and downloaded pictures are stored. Since they have "originated" on the iPod they are not on your computer - yet. Once they have been successfully saved, I can go back the My Computer/the iPod and delete them from the Camera Roll.

I have made a Video on one PC with Premiere Emements 12 and want to continue on a PC with the same Premiere Elements 12 on and Windows 8.1. The systen wants other Codec.
What can I do?
By the way with Magix is it possible to work on both PC.

How did you go about transferring the Premiere Elements 12 project on Windows 7 64 bit to Premiere Elements 12 on Windows 8.1 64 bit.
Therein is what I believe is your problem. You in all likelihood do not have a codec problem of any kind, rather Premiere Elements 12 project on Windows 8.1 64 bit with disconnect between it source media and the project file. Here is how it goes.
When you import a file into Premiere Elements project, what you have in Premiere Elements is a copy of the original which is still at its hard drive save location. But the project must trace back to that original on its hard drive save location.
You may have the project.prel (project file) opening in Premiere Elements 12 on the second computer, but what I suspect to be the case is that you do not have the project media on that second computer.
If so....On the first computer, archive the project with File Menu/Project Archiver and its Copy Project option. Transfer the resulting saved Copied Folder to a USB Flash Drive which will be used to transfer the Copied Folder to the second computer. In the second computer, open the Copied Folder, right click the project.prel file in the Copied Folder, select Open With, and then Premiere Elements 12.
Did you set up disc menu in the Premiere Elements 12 Windows 7 64 bit project?
Please review and consider the above and let us know if any or all of that applies to your situation.

Why can I not turn on my icloud backup and photostream???

When I go to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup>Backup my iCloud Backup button is greyed out. I have tried removed restrictions, then I even reset the iPad. I have plenty of storage (even purchased extra to cover all my devices). All my other devices are fine but this one! PDF files are extremely reliable. You may have a software issue. I have the problem on 2 identical systems with the exact same specs. The problem occurs at the same exact interval. It may be a windows update. We have had to re-install software form the DVD in each instance. This fixes it for awhile and then it recoccurs. Adobe acts as if they have never heard of the problem...imagine that. I'm the only one with th problem.
This is happens with CS6 volume lic product.
If you dont own Adobe product it will be even more difficult to find and answer as the reader is used my so many people.
We know we have the problem again when we double click opn a PDF and nothing happens. SOme have reported that reloading does not fix the problem.
Wish I could help you. I am looking for answers to this issue right now and phone support is a 30 minute wait.

Brandcast, I'd suggest you post in a new topic. Although your question is the same, apparently the answer isn't. Any topic that was originally started over 2 months ago may relate to a different version of iTunes (neither you nor the original poster say which version you use) and who knows what may happen between versions.

Why can I not select SD versions of SD TV programs I purchased? When I go to my program to download it. I click the SD button, that is what I paid for. It will not move over to the SD version to allow me to download it even though I have received notification that I have a new program waiting.

I found my own solution. While in the Itunes store I did a search for the program by name of the current season. It brought up a list of the current season and it showed that I had an undownloaded episode of the program. I hit the download ad it completed the SD download.

I have been sent here by you customer service team to make a complaint.
I have recently purchased Windows 8.1 pro student as a download. I need this for university and was planning on boot camping my mac to do this. I am told the only way to download this product is with a windows machine. I have tried at work but need administrator
privileges also.
This is simply a ridiculous system that you need the operating system that you are downloading to make the download occur. You should be able to download an iso file or the like. I have ordered a backup media (obviously at my expense).
The customer service people I spoke to were very unhelpful. Also this process of complaints is poor. Why can i not talk to someone re a complaint?

SOLVED Ok. I actually was able to disable it. I had to actually log in as the guest user to make it accessible in the preference window. Then I disabled it and logged out. Apologies if this was obvious for some people, but I have had some sort of issue with something every update since Snow Leopard.
