Why can I not download from the iTunes Store??

I bought an album from the iTunes Store via my iPhone 5 and despite the fact that I have a strong 4G signal, it is telling me that one track is going to take over 42 minutes to download! I checked the speed on Speed Test and it showed 32mbps download and 10mbps upload. EE told me that as nothing else is affected (I can connect to other apps such as You Tube and Safari fine) then it must be a fault with my iPhone or iTunes. They also mentioned that there was a known issue with update 6.1.3 where the handset showed an LTE signal when there was actually none. Anyone aware of this?

Try logging out of your account on the iPad by tapping on your id in Settings > Store and then log back in and see if it then works.

    Applecare Senior Advisor Txx Bxxx (I have his contact info in an email he just sent) just confirmed with me that the problem people are having with the App Store not loading is an apple issue with there servers, ITS NOT YOUR IPAD so don't go restoring it!   It's not happening to everyone however but they are looking into it, its really hit or miss.

    Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
    This works for some users. Not sure why.
    Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

    Please explain more - what happens, when you try? Where does it fail exactly?
    Can you purchase apps with your iPhone, but not with the iPad mini?
    Are you using the same AppleIDs on both devices?

    I live in Cape Town, South Africa, and have noticed that the app store in the US has different apps and games as oppsed to the app store in SA.SA has many apps and games but mostly are demo's and you have to pay for the full game, while the us site has full games that you do not have to pay for?

    I moved across from Australia to the US with my phone and the guys in the apple store did something so that we "transferred" my account - put new address/credit card etc but did not need new user name.
    However a recent software upgrade or some sort of bug has mine reverting to the old email address not my new one.  For the live of me I cannot work out how to change that setting. Any Ideas?

    I don't do auto-sync. Too much music on my PC for that. I manually copy and/or delete.
    And I did delete the iTunes-acquired albums from the phone and then copied them back on:
    No change...
