Hi,
Another newbie question:
I have a midi track and an audio track. The midi track is a loop and the audio track is footsteps.
The only way I can hear both is to select both by shift clicking to select them.
This is the first time this has happened because I've had no problem hearing multiple tracks before, playing together.
Could someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Sounds like you've Soloed a Track somewhere. Check to see if any Tracks have 'Solo' activated (the little "S" button); it should be off.

Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then try deleting that track from your iTunes library and redownload it via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes
If you aren't in a country where you can re-download music or if it re-downloads in the same state then try the 'report a problem' page to contact iTunes Support : http://reportaproblem.apple.com

When burned to a disk i can only hear most tracks through the left speaker!

alright, i recently recorded a few songs they consist of a looped drumbeat some software and real instruments. I made sure all were panned to the center, but when i listen to it on a cd or on itunes i can only hear a majority of the parts through the left speaker. the part that comes through the right speaker is the looped drum beat. So if anyone has any suggestions or something i just missed please let me know. thanks.

Why can I only record 2 tracks at a time ?

Until a couple of months ago I could record 10 tracks at once without a hitch. Then something happened and suddenly I could only record 4 tracks at a time. Now I can only record 2 tracks at once. My logic is completely legal and I'm running a Mac Book pro 2.4 Ghz core 2 duo, 2 GB.
I posted this same questions a couple of months ago without any reply.
I desperatly need help.

Not RAM related.
Record tracks have to be set for individual inputs.
If all your tracks are set to record on inputs 1-2 or Mono 1, Mono 2 you will only have two inputs.
Make sure Universal Track Mode IS selected in Preferences/Audio and that you indeed have the correct audio driver selected. Now go to your tracks and see how many inputs you have available. If you're recording mono tracks set audio tracks 1 and 2 to record using inputs 1 and 2, Audio tracks 3 and 4 to use inputs 3 and 4, stereo tracks will use both inputs.

Why can't I get one track to open in page view?

Hi all, I am having trouble in the score getting only one track to display in the score editor. I select the track,which has 47 bars with one extra region [bar 34-triplets] that must remain as a separate region because the triplets won't work when joined to the regions in back or in front of bar 34.So I click hold shift and select the 3 regions or just select the track[which selects all regions on that track]
But I get a complete score instead of just the one track I want. So far no amount of fiddling with the controls[page view, hierarchy button, chain linked button] will give me the one track alone in page view. Has any one had this happen? Would some one like to help? Have any of you seen this behavior before?

I don't know what I did to solve this, but I think it's solved by making a "duplicate of each track, then the tracks are all independent , got that from the LUG too

Why can I only import one TDMS signal at a time in Signal Express?

I have dozens of data files which were originally recorded as LabVIEW waveform files. I converted them all to TDMS in LabVIEW in hopes that I could import them to Signal Express (with the S&V Suite) for further processing. Each data file contains more than 20 channels.
When I try to import them to SE, I am unable to import the entire group. Instead, I am limited to one channel at a time. This would take days to import all channels, and is not what I want at all. Is there some way to import an entire group of channels at once?

I was using the "Logged Signals from LabVIEW TDMS file" import; perhaps I had installed it on SE 2.5 before upgrading to 3.0. Regardless, I downloaded the ZIP file, and ran the msi with the "Repair" function. This did not change the functionality. I then used your suggestion, and redigitized one of the files with the Express VI set for TDMS. Same deal, although instead of the channel names I had been able to specify using the TDMS subVIs, now it lists them all as "Voltage_x", where x is a channel number beginning with 0.
I've attached two images as examples of what I'm experiencing. The first (temp1.JPG) shows where I've tried to select the entire group. You can see that "Convert File" is not enabled, and the sample information has not been read. The second image (temp2.JPG) shows where I've selected a channel. I am only able to select one channel, not a range. The "Convert File" button is now enabled, and sample information is correctly displayed.

Why can you only tick / untick tracks ina list view?

Actually the REAL question is perhaps- how can I see the Album list as a list not as d*** icons?
Context:
I will be using the 'ticked' field to contrlol scanning by squeezebox duet, to exclude albums that are also in my FLAC library.

You can only see the ticks in a view that can display them, but you can use the right-click options to check or uncheck selection in other views.
Unchecked tracks should be dimmed slightly in some views, which while not as clear as a checkbox, should let you tell what is and isn't checked.
Since unchecking songs has other side effects once you've marked all your tracks you may want to create a smart playlist with the unchecked tracks, and then copy that into a regular playlist, so that you can easily check and uncheck the same selection when needed.

Why do my photos on my computer take up 5.5 GB but syncing them to my iPod Touch they take up around 15 GB, and why can I only select one folder to sync, and not multiple folders?

I have wiped the iPod a few times and tried from different computers. All the small things get more frustrating every day with apple.

The Camera roll, on the iPod Touch, is where photos taken by the iPod (if it has a camera), screenshots and downloaded pictures are stored. Since they have "originated" on the iPod they are not on your computer - yet. Once they have been successfully saved, I can go back the My Computer/the iPod and delete them from the Camera Roll.

I just bought 2 songs and could only get 1 to my ipod, the other says when I try to get it on a playlist "I am not authorized to play it on this computer" But I just did the other one????? I went and bought it again but still no luck.

No one else touches my computer.
i just found it weird, that I bought 2 songs about 30 seconds apart and only could get one into my music.
