Why can I only make calls when using speakrphone?

I can only make phone calls when using the speaker phone or headphones. The receiver can hear me although I can not hear them. I have only had the phone since Sat, have checked volume levels and tried adjusting during a phone call too.

Try making a call and turning the volume up using the buttons on the side of the phone. If that doesn't work, your iPhone is faulty. Take it to the nearest apple store or back where you bought it!

Why Can I Only Make Black Shape Layers With the Line Tool?

My question is this: How do I make an arrow as a shape layer that's other than black?
Here's what I tried:
1. Choose the Line Tool, and using the cog turn on the arrowhead at end feature, and set the weight.
2. Drag a line on my image, which creates an arrow-shaped path. So far so good.
3, Click the [Shape] button to make a shape layer from the path. Note that the arrow is black, even though my foreground color is white.
4. Double click the shape layer icon and a color picker comes up. Change the color, and note that the arrow stays black.
Seems like a bug: You can have any color shape that you want, as long as it's black.

Personally, I really LIKE the concept of always making a Path, then doing with it what I want (e.g., make a Shape with the button).
I'm not sure what I'd suggest about making the Fill and Stroke options available, but clearly the method of haivng them only show when making Shapes, and not when using the [Shape] button is a stumbling block even for folks who are familiar with the product.
I would probably turn off the Stroke feature by default, though, then let people discover it.

HI,
I renewed my subscription last week but when I now go to make a call, it asks if I want to pay as you go or get another subscription. My account says that I have 400 minutes left.
Can someone please advise what I need to do to be able to make calls from my subscription again?

I didn't find any call attempts on your account, could you please:
* Make sure you have latest Skype from: http://www.skype.com/go/downloading
* Log in with the exact same account
* Place a free test call first to Skype users

First, if you have not already, I would restart the iPhone then try again.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider.
After the device has turned off, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.

Have you restored as a new device and tried your phone before you add any apps back? If you do this and you're still having problems, then you are having a hardware malfunction and will need to bring your phone into Apple for evaluation and possible replacement.

I purchased my iphone 4s at an EE store in january. Everything was going fine for the first few weeks. When we had the storms and floods everyone i know who has a phone on EE or Orange phone went down but mine didnt. Now i ring someone it fails without even attempting to ring. Could you make a call while you were insidethe EE store ? If you could - then maybe there is a problem in your home area. If you couldn't - then hand the phone to a member of staff and ask them to try it. If it still fails - get a replacement phone.

For quite some time my calls have been increasingly failing when calling certain people. I keep getting forwarded to voicemail after 1.5 rings or it will ring like normal on my end but the person will never have a missed call. It's become extremely frustrating. Im up to date on software updates.
My Do Not Disturb is turned off.
I don't have those numbers blocked and they don't have mine blocked.
I was having this problem before the newest update as well.

What troubleshooting have you done? Have you followed the steps outlined in the user guide?
What did your wireless carrier say when you contact them about it, since cellular calls are their service to support.

It doesn't work if I initiate the call in any way from within the run method of a Thread subclass (the way I'd like to do it). If I make the call in the constructor of the Thread subclass, however, it runs fine. I know it must have something to do with the fact that parse runs in a Thread of it's own - but the way to fix it isn't apparent to me.

Why can I only hear calls on my hands-free or speaker phone?

I have an issue. All alarms, ring tones and text alerts are heard perfectly yet I cannot receive calls or play my iPod through the speakers of my iPhone 4.
If anyone could help it would be much appreciated. I have tried the 'jiggle headphones in and out of headphone jack' trick as well as restoring the phone. I have no idea what to try next and it would be ace if someone could come and save me.

This may sound stupid, but it happened to me. Are you sure you peeled the plastic covering the screen off? It comes with the plastic covering the speaker.

Well, since you've had the same problem, with three different phones, that all use different size sim cards, it seems pretty obvious the problem is with your carrier/coverage & nothing to do with your phone or sim card.

Back it up in iTunes! Just make a backup of the entire device but make sure you check sync contacts and the option to add contacts from phone to address book on computer.
