Why can I text only 1 person on my iPad? If I try 2 text someone else it automatically says the message wasn't delivered

iPad can only use iMessage which is limited to only Apple devices and registered iMessage addresses.It does not do SMS (standard cell phone text ) messaging.

Why can't I open facebook videos on my ipad and iphone any more? I used to be able to open most but now I can't open any. Now it just comes up with a message 'unable to play video.Check your internet connection and try again' There is nothing wrong with my internet connection. I am on wifi and full signal strength. This is happening on both ipad and iphone. It's not the problem where sometimes a video wants Adobe to open it. I am in the facebook app (on both iPhone and iPad) and the app is working fine but if people post a video I can't look at the video on the iPhone or iPad. i always used to be able to but now it keeps coming up with the message I mentioned above. So I can no longer watch videos from facebook on either my iPad or iPhone. Here is a screen shot of my phone of what is happening. As you can see I have full wifi so there is nothing wrong with my internet connection. RIM has taken a bit of a cloud approach on this. If you use gmail, you can install Google Sync on your blackberry. This will sync your calendar (and contacts if you wish) up to the cloud, and then when you enable it on your playbook, down to there. I'm using this setup, and my BlackBerry, PlayBook, and Google Calendar are always in sync no matter where I make the edit or change.
Why RIM didn't implement a method for imporating this data, no one knows. But if you really wish to just view your BB data, you'll have to use Bridge apps for now.

Assuming Apple doesn't eviscerate the files of the secondary graphics with another upgrade, there could be a plug in that reads the graphic and runs along side iTunes..we should get someone or Apple to program an alternative If we have to accept this downgrade in iTunes proper.
I've developed a quick workaround, and am still hoping Apple will fix this!
Go To Get Info on the tune you want to see secondary artwork for.
Go To the Artwork tab
Drag the back cover to the desktop, and it will create a new jpg you can open with quick viw or prieview where you can see it large!
you end up with a lot of jpgs on the desktop to discard!

It's not obsolete as much as the first gen simply lacks the power to run the newer operating systems. IT doesn't have enough RAM. If someone managed to hack it to get iOS 6 or 7 on there they'd just have a slow, boggy and unresponsive device. (think putting windows 7 on an old laptop.
Unfortunately software moves faster than hardware. Every thing goes obsolete. I've had my ipad 2 for two and a half years now and I know it only has so much longer left to it too. Just the 'joys' of advancing technology.

Are you trying to do this from the photos app or from the mail app? Explain in a little detail what is happening when you try to select multiple photos.
No matter which app you are using, you can try quitting the apps completely and then reboot the iPad and try again.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

But then i noticed that the game icon appears on my screen. So i clicked it and end up playing it for few hours, eventhough i only downloaded few kb's of the game. I'm still in my confusion. Does it have anything to do with the icloud?

There can be several reasons.
1) They have their Mic Off.
In iChat > Video Menu the Microphone Enabled (or Audio Chat Enabled in Lion) needs to be ticked.
2) the System Preferences > Sound > Input tab Volume is not high enough ?
Slide it to the right (their end)
2a) the Mic selected here is not the one select in iChat > Preferences > Video section > Microphone drop down.
3) there is an issue with the speed differences in the internet services you both have.
If they are fast and sending lots of data and your end cannot buffer fast enough frame get dropped to smooth out video. There comes a point when the audio can no longer keep in sync and is dropped as well.
In iChat menu > Preferences > Video section > Bandwidth Limit set 500kbps at both ends
This also smooths out ISP variances.
4) after that it tends to be combos of things such as Processors involved, the Speed of those Processors and the speed or bandwidth available to the computers involved.

I love the thumbnail idea, but why can't I just right click on the thumbnails and set the websites I want?
Why do i have to wait for a recent one to come up?
Of the 9 available, I would like to set 6 to website i can input by right clicking it and leave the rest for the recently visited.

1. Firefox is the only browser that always give me trouble attaching files in gmail. I still use firefox for all browsing but for mail attachments, I use others. And yes, I have done the "Clear cookies, reset, reinstall, clear cache, etc etc etc... none worked for more than a few days. no such problem with other browsers.
2. Your new updated search bar (Top right hand corner) is nice but can be very irritating for the following reason:
I like to highlight - copy (a word or phrase) - and paste it in the search bar. was fine with the older version, but now as soon as I right click to past, the menu pops up for me to select a search engine. Very irritating since I have yet to paste the copied word or phrase. I rather paste it and then have the option to click on the drop down menu. If you see this as not something masses would want, please place an option in setting for us to stop the suggestion for search engines coming up automatically when we try to right click in the side search bar to paste.

You can change the order of the boxes on the about:newtab page and drag an item to a different tile to pin it to that position or you can remove a website by clicking the close X to block that URL.
You can drag a bookmark or history item and drop them in a tile on the about:newtab page to pin them and have your own favorites sites showing.
Changes made manually on the about:newtab page are stored in prefs that you can find on the about:config page.
*browser.newtabpage.pinned stores websites that you have pinned to a tile.
*browser.newtabpage.blocked stores websites that you have removed by clicking the X button in a tile.
So you can reset those prefs via the right-click context menu to reset changes made to the about:newtab page.

TextFormat class. In your library, select New Font from the
Options menu.
Choose a font from the dropdown list and give it any name you
want. Ok. Then
right click that font in the library and choose Linkage to
set it up for
Actionscript, and in the first frame.
Add the following actionscript to the first frame of your
movie to set up
the font in the movie:

text_fmt.font = "trebuchet-15";
text_fmt.size = 15;
myText.embedFonts = true;
myText.setNewTextFormat(text_fmt);
myText.antiAliasType = "advanced";
text_fmt is the name of the TextFormat class. You can name
this anything you
want.
trebuchet-15 happens to be what I named my new font item in
the library
myText is the name of the dynamic text box that I am going to
be using this
font in.
One more thing. When you set up your dynamic text box ... if
you're using
HTML text, don't override this with a <font> tag that
declares the font face
or size.
Hope this helps. This should make the text in your dynamic
text boxes just
as smooth as the static text.

Reminders will only appear in your Mac if you are using OS X Mountain Lion and you have the Reminders app. Open Apple menu > About this Mac, and check the OS X version. If it's not 10.8, you don't have OS X Mountain Lion.
If you have OS X Mountain Lion, open System Preferences > iCloud, and mark Reminders
