Why can't i access my app store on my iPod?

Why can't i access my app store on my ipod 4th generation? I click on it and it won't let me access my app, itunes, or any app like social media apps with internet, but I can still access my games that have internet. It confuses me and i dont know what to? I found it didnt work because i wanted to get a game one day that i saw people playing thought it was cool, and wanted to get it. It didnt work and said cannot connect to iTunes store. So i thought i was because i was at school and my school has a filter and it has been blocking alot since its really close to the end of the year, but when i went home and tried to get into it. It still didnt work. So if anyone knows how to help can you please help. Thank you .

Try this:
Quit all apps: Double tap the Home button, hold an app icon until it wiggles, tap for each open app, double tap the Home button again
then
Reset: Hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons and don’t let go until the screen goes dark and the Apple logo appears (no data will be lost)

Why can't i access the app store with snow leopard

I just installed Snow Leopard on my girlfriend's Macbook 5,1 in hopes of updating it to Mountain Lion. I'm unable to use her Apple ID, nor mine, to access the App Store to upgrade. I've scowered search engines to find a fix, but to no avail. Anybody have any ideas as to how to resolve this issue?

Click accounts in the quick links section. You should be able to set things upo from there.

How come when I attempt to access the app store on itunes, It attempts to load and then gives me a blank white screen?
Everything else seems to work fine, its just the app section.
I am using the latest version of Itunes on a mac.

Why Can't I Access the App Store in iOS 6?

I've been trying to use Passbook ever since I installed iOS6 today with no luck. Whenever I tap the "App Store" button in Passbook, it opens the store and I get a "Cannot connect to iTunes" message. (see image.)
But if I open iTunes on it's own, it works just fine. No one else is complaining!Am I doing something wrong?

I am having the same problem, but I think I might know what's causing it. I just updated my girlfriend's iPhone 4S (same phone as mine) to iOS 6 and was surprised to find that her app store is working just fine. When I opened hers, however, I did notice that the "Categories" and "Top 25" buttons are totally different; and those happen to be the two buttons that are not working for me. Mine shows the same that yours does, while hers has the "Genius" and "Charts" buttons in the place of the two that are not functioning for me. I believe these old buttons are no longer active and therefor are bombing out when attempting to access them.
Now I said I think I may understand the problem, but unfortunately I have no idea what the solution may be. Hopefully this tread doesn't fade away and our problem gets addressed.

Occasionally ill try downloading an App through my Macbook Pro 13.5 & it directs me to iTunes to be downloaded. So, I go to iTunes and download the App I need. For instance, Amazon. I go into 'My Apps' in iTunes and try clicking on one of my DL Apps, but nothing happens. Why can't I access the Apps, which I downloaded through iTunes.?I believe I'm doing something wrong and not that the issue is iTunes itself. I have OS X Yosemite 10.10.1. I am due for an upgrade from that software and also an upgrade for iTunes as well, but that shouldn't be the problem. I've tried everything on my end to troubleshoot. Once you download an iOS app, you cannot run that app from the computer. That can only be run from an iOS device. You cannot download Mac Apps from the iTunes App Store, those are downloaded from the Mac App Store. Two different places. If you want a Mac app that will run on your Mac, you need to download that from the Mac App Store. iTunes App Store only has iOS apps that work on iOS devices, iPhone, iPad, or iPod.

Have you synced apps from that computer/iTunes library? You can only sync apps from your one syncing computer.

HT3843 I install the Genius for Apps and I can no longer access the Apps Store on my I phone

I installed the Genius for Apps on my new IPhone 5 and I can no longer access the App Store and when I tap App Store I just get a white screen with the heading Genius for Apps with a white screen and no active keys.

You can not merge accounts.
Apps are tied to the Apple ID used to download them, you can not transfer them.

Just purchased OS X Mountain Lion but in order to down load I have to have the App Store App on my Mac. Please help.

10.6.6 was the 1st to support the App Store, 10.6.8 is actually needed now as a minimum.
Install it & update to 10.6.8 so you have the App Store to buy & download the huge 10.8 Installer.(10.9/Mavericks is the only download available now without specially calling Apple).

What do you mean by having no access to those apps? Can you start up your Mac and work with it, and only some OS X apps do not work?
Anyway, what you can try is to reinstall OS X. To do this, hold Command and R keys while your Mac is starting up and reinstall OS X. You will not lose any file.
