Why can't I access my icloud on my phone?

I'm trying to get into my icloud but every time I click on my mail button I then click on icloud put in my username and password it says that my Apple ID has already been added to my phone but I can't access icloud anywhere on my phone. Do I need to download something from the App Store?

On your iPhone iCloud is accessed automatically when you use the iPhone, I.e., contacts syncing, calendars syncing iCloud documents accessed, backups made, etc.
To enable iCloud functionality go to Settings > iCloud.

I would like to be able to use my iCloud albums to organize my photos but if I cannot access them from apps it seems pointless. I will end up having to maintain both an iCloud library and a separate iPhoto library which is more work that seems necessary. I want everything easy to organize and access. It seems like in this age where most people are more likely to use their mobile devices than their Macs (and some do not even own Macs) that there should be a mobile solution. Hopefully I am simply without a clue and you folks can help me out with a fix or a source of info as a solution. I have not found answers yet.

I have the latest iOS my 2 phones. I have the current Pages iOS app on each phone. I have several Pages documents on my iPhones (created there, locally). I have my iPhone(s) set up for iCloud access and I have Settings on the phones set for iCloud access to Documents & Data. The phones are connected to the net.
I have (successfully) done a "Save As" of a document from Pages on my Mac to the iCloud. I have confirmed the Save As worked by logging into my iCloud account (via Safari) and viewing the document in Pages (iWork). I even did some edits there in Safari and created a new version of the Pages document there, so now I have 2 Pages documents in my iCloud account.
However.... when I launch Pages on either of my phones I do not find a way to open (or import) either of those documents from my iPhone.
What am I missing? Thanks!

Thanks. Yes, the Documents & Data is on. But your second suggestion was spot-on. I got a reply to my re-posted question in another forum area and that pointed me to the Pages setting in the Settings app. It had been switched off. Switching it to "on" has the iCloud-stored documents now appearing in Pages on the phones.

I have the latest iOS my 2 phones. I have an iCloud account. The phones are connected to the net.
I have the current version of the Pages iOS app on each phone. I have several Pages documents on my iPhones (created there, locally) and I am able to open and edit them just fine. I have my iPhone(s) set up for iCloud access according to the documentation from Apple, and I have Settings on the phones set for iCloud access to Documents & Data.
On my Mac I have successfully done a "Save As" of a document from Pages to the iCloud. I cannot manage my apps on my phone when it is connected to itunes through my computer. It says windows has caused the program to shut down and will notify me when there is a solution.

On iTunes using your computer have you completed the iTunes Match 3-step process?
If so, within Song view you can enable a field called iCloud status - sorting Songs on this field will show what is available from the cloud.
It sounds like all you need to do is to enable mobile internet on your iPhone to allow access over 3G as well as WiFi.

Why can't i view on iCloud what is on my lost iPhones? i can see how much GB's they are taking up but can't click on the data to see what it is..

Why can't I view my icloud backups on a new apple device using the same icloud id? Unluckily I lost 4 iphones in 2 yrs. all had same icloud acct on them, so when i log on to locate my current iphone on my macbook or on new iphone, it shows a list of all the lost iphones and their data take up.
When i click on settings on my ios> go to icloud > storage & backup> manage storage:
LOST IPHONE 1- 4.5 GB DOCUMENTS & DATA : it shows PREVIEW 1.2 MB PAGES1.6 MB TEXT EDIT91.6 KB PHOTOS 3.2 GB
LOST IPHONE 2- 3.2 GB DOCUMENTS & DATA: it shows same thing just different gb's mb's kb's
LOST IPHONE 3- etc.......
but you can't click on those documents & data to show what exactly they are so you can move them or save and delete. If I go into icloud there's nothing there from that long ago. is that data deleted? if i were to get that certain iphone back and turn it on would the pics, docs still be in icloud? it says all that room in my icloud is still taken up so where can i view it?? anyone know??

If you haven't already, you could force-quit Quicktime by using the menu option from the desktop (finder) and choose Quicktime.
Not sure what you have frozen on the screen, be it a failed movie, or some unusual screen shot. If you can find by date (created) you may be able to look for .mov or quicktime suffix name or other video file content to delete it.
And you may have to restart your computer and perhaps run repair disk permissions from Disk Utility's first aid on the hard disk drive in your computer.
Not sure if all that would help now, but it is something a few days late...!
