Why can't i adjust the bottom of my home page

I recently deleted content from my home page, and rather than the bottom of the page adjusting up as it usually does, it's stuck in the old position.
i've tried adjusting the master page settings, and i've tried just deleting the space on the home page. neither thing has worked and i'm not sure what else to try.
the content i deleted was in the body of the page, not the footer.

Could you please check the page in design mode, if you have any blank object, like text box, rectangle or anything like that, specially in the footer. You can use "Select All" in Edit menu, to select all the content on the page, and try to locate it. Make sure you have unlocked everything on page, so it can select everything.

It's because you have a paragraph text box and it doesn't automatically resize text. This way you can change the margins of the text without resizing it which is how paragraph text functions by default.
I'm not seeing the new text paragraph/area indicator on your text box, which is what you get in Illustrator CC, so the only way to convert this text so you can resize it by dragging on the corners is to copy the text, deselect the text box, use the text tool to click once in another part of your document, and then paste the text. The text will then come into your document as one long line if you don't have hard returns in it, but after reflowing the text manually you'll be able to drag the corners to resize the text.
I would recommend not going this route as any text you remove from the area type means that the rest of the text has to be manually adjusted to maintain correct margins. Instead just resize the bounds of the paragraph text and adjust the size of the font in the Character panel.

Why can't Dreamweaver CS3 locate my site's home page?

I am getting an error message stating, "The selected folder does not contain the current site's home page. The site map cannot be built."
I have gone into manage sites numerous times and verified that the correct path is there for the main documens and the image files. This location has not changed since I created this site. Any idea why it cannot locate the home page? If it is looking for index.html, that file is located in the path that I am using.

Why can't I adjust the size/proportions of objects anymore?

This problem has been happening intermittently today. The resizing squares around all of my objects have disappeared and I can no longer adjust their size or dimensions. I have tried resetting my tools as well as deactivating and reactivating my account (this worked once, but now the problem has appeared again).

Why can I no longer load my iGoogle personalized home page in Firefox 5 or 6 when I can in Safari?

I have a customized iGoogle home page that I was able to access in Firefox 5 until a few days ago. Now, I can't access it in either Firefox 5 or 6. I get a different, and mostly blank, Google screen instead.
I am still able to get my personalized home page in Safari. (I'm using an Intel iMac.)
How can I get my home screen back in Firefox?

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
* Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
* Firefox > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Make sure that you are still logged in to Google.

There is an unwanted space at the bottom of my home page.

I created the site in Muse, and in the design view there is no margin or spacing at the bottom. The everything is set to zero, but for some reason when I publish the page and go to the live site, ther is like a 25 pixel margin at the bottom of the page. How do I get rid of that?

Why can't I see the symbosl on my twitter page , like the star to favorite or retweet symbol?

I used to be able to see those symbols but now I don't know why I can't. I accessed my twitter page with another browser Internet explorer and there I can see all the symbols. I have the star to favorite something I like and I can see the retweet symbol there as well and the buttons look normal on the page but the symbols do not appear with firefox and the buttons don't look normal. This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, or by corruption of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. Note: If FileVault is enabled on some models, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain iMacs. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin. Test while in safe mode. Same problem? After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

Why can't I read the text on some web pages?

I'm using my laptop with a Vista OS and Firefox. Some of the text that appears on web pages seems to be rendered incorrectly on my screen. I'm hoping someone can tell me how this happens.

I have the same problem which is one reason I still use IE8 (which has its own problems). I change my font to be bigger, and I use my toolbar on the side. Firefox apparently doesn't like this and squooshes the page together.
I could do all sorts of research to figure out what is wrong, reconfigure Firefox, use the fonts it wants, install, zoom, uninstall fonts, and perhaps find apps to change the way it looks. I probably could set up my computer to satisfy the needs of Firefox.
Nah. I like my computer to work for me! So, I have to go to IE a lot. I use FF for some things. IE for others.

Why can't I enable the calendar on any wiki page?

The box is grey and can't be checked to turn on under settings. I have stopped and restarted ical but that does not fix it! All the wiki pages had a working calendar before the upgrade. The help page says to check the box as long as ical service is enabled. Ical is on but still no option to enable the calendar.

I am guessing that this is just something pinned to the Windows launcher, and so someone more familiar with Windows may do better at answering it.

If you can't edit the file once it's converted to Word, it could be that the PDF was created from a scanned page, and then image text wasn't converted to searchable text. ExportPDF should perform Optical Character Recognition by default, but it can be disabled in Reader. Do you know whether OCR was disabled when you converted the page? If it wasn't, make sure that the correct language was selected for OCR. This option appears at the bottom of the ExportPDF panel in Reader, and in the Document Language (for Text Recognition) pop-up menu that appears after you select your file to convert in the ExportPDF online service.
If everything seems to have been set correctly, and you still can edit the text, please try triple-clicking to select the text in Word. Did that do the trick?

Why can't I see the keyframes in color over stroke?

Why can't I see the keyframes in color over stroke? I am trying to adjust a heart beat monitor effect I created. I started with a bezier line and gave it a light streak #3 style. In the Color Over Stoke shape window I can click the arrows left and right to jump from KF to KF but they will not appear as editable points in the keyframe editor. I wonder if this is a bug?

Here's what I did to see them
-Added a line shape
-Dropped Light Steak 3 style on the line layer in the layer list.
-Selected the line and in the inspector, went to Shape>Stroke>Color over stroke.
-Selected the first color tag in the gradient.
-At the far right side of the color parameter, clicked the downward facing arrow and selected "Show in Keyframe Editor" option.
The keyframes show up in the keyframe editor. Repeat for each color or opacity tag as needed.
