Why can't I cancel my skype number?

I have a skype number and I don't needed it anymore. But I didn't find a way in my account to cancel it. There's simply no skype number option in Manage features section of my account. Please help.

Cancelling my skype number

I took a subscription for a skype number in June, thinking it was only for three months. I no longer need it but discover I have just been billed for the coming three months, even though I will not need it or be using it. I can find no way to communicate this problem with Skype folks. Help, please!

You also need to cancel the Skype Number subscription from your account dashboard (Manage Subscriptions). If you cannot do this, then please contact Skype customer service who can cancel the subscription.

The only way to change a Skype Number is to cancel the current subscription, and to start a new one. In other words, a Skype Number cannot be changed. Its simplicity affords no flexibility.

Canceling old Skype number

I just added a new Skype number for Wisconsin, and now I wish to cancel my old Skype number with a Cincinnati area code. How do I do that? I followed the instructions, but there is no "cancel Skype number" option under my old Cincinnati Skype number. I tried finding a phone number for Skype so that I could get a live voice to help me, but never found this. How can I cancel the old Skype number?

When you contact Skype Customer Service for assistance in cancelling the Skype Number subscription you no longer need, please report that you were unable to do so yourself, and report what you typed here!

How can i set up my Skype Number

Can i set up my skype number to be accessible in two skype accounts and if the other skype account is not available it call gets diverted to another skype account?

Note: when I click on South Korea, takes me to a page informs me there are special requirements for South Korean Skype numbers. However, when I click on "Next" to verify I am a resident of Korea, it informs me of technical difficulties. Is any one else getting this error?

That's an account-level setting on the iPad. Presumably you use your cell number as your Facetime account credentials on your phone, and the iPad is linked to your account as well? You can go into the Facetime settings on the iPad and change what accounts can be reached on the iPad or used to make Facetime calls. Same goes for Messages.

How do I REALLY cancel my Skype Number?

I have a Skype Number. I purchased it for three months, which is not yet up, and want to cancel it now. I have tried to change the payment option, with no success. I follow the Cancel Number link and select the Cancel Number (versus Keep the number) with no obvious success. Information associated with the number show the Automatic Renewal Date but does not show that the number is cancelled.

Skype is aware of existing problems with the website when contacting their customer service agents. If you experience difficulty reaching Skype Customer Service or find yourself redirected back to the Community, please try again using a different web browser and - most importantly - choosing a different path through the various drop-down menu options presented. Also, look to approve a pop-up dialogue box which would connect you to start an instant message chat with a customer service agent. If you have pop-ups blocked in your browser settings, this will also block reaching an agent.

I have a regular subscription. Do I also have a skype number with this free subscription? If yes, how can I find out what my number is so that people can call me from landlines?

Skype does not assign a fixed line (land line) telephone number to everyone; a Skype Number is purchased as a subscription. Please remember this:
-> A Skype Number is used only to receive calls which you answer on Skype.
-> To place calls to fixed line or mobile numbers from Skype, you need to Buy Skype credit or start a Skype subscription in order to cover the costs of those outgoing calls.
Calls to other Skype accountholders (Skype-to-Skype) are always free of charge.

Why can't I get a serial number without sending my tax records in

I purchased Creative Suite 4 through Academic Superstore and was verified. i received my Adobe software, but cannot get a serial number for it until I send Adobe a picture ID along with several documents. I need to use this software today (my trial expired) but I can't. I spoke to a customer representative today name Shelia who hung up on me. I do not own a student ID, nor do I have to own one. I am required to then send my driver's license, which I do not want to do. Why can't I just get a serial number and use the software I paid for using the e-mail account I have from the college I go to?

Must be the only college that does not provide a student ID. Go to the college office and they will provide you with one.
I am amazed that you feel you do not have to prove you are a student to get the student discount.
