Hi tforsberg, obviously Firefox behaves differently on your system(s) than on mine, even though we use the same OS.

To track down the extra Flash DLL, could you try the following: type or paste '''about:plugins''' in the address bar and press Enter. You can use Find (Ctrl+f) and search for '''npswf''' to find the Flash plugin(s) on the page. The default location is:
C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash
Can you track down Flash 12 to that or a different location?
Regarding session restore, you get the best results when you exit Firefox using the menu. Either:
* "3-bar" menu button > "power" button
* File menu > Exit

Why can't .swf be seen in Internet Explorer?

I am working with .swf files on the website I'm buidling for the company I am working at. However, I have noticed that the .swf file I did with buttons can't be seen in Internet Explorer. There is another .swf file without links that works perfectly and can be seen in all internet readers. However, if the internet reader itself doesnt have Flash plug-in on it, it can't be seen. So any tips and advices how I can solve the problem? How I can make the .swf files compatible with all internet readers without problem?
Any suggestions?

Several people including myself are having the same issue and have contacted HP and Apple. Quite frankly, I'm surprised it's been an issue for so long being that photos uploaded to Snapfish = $$$. Lets hope they can work this one out, as of now, there apparently is no solution.

I would guess the plugin is enabled since when I use Foxfire as my browser, all pdfs download and are readable. (just doesn’t happen when I use IE as my browser, I get a blank screen with a small “x” in the upper left corner)

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

You mean, why can't you download the upgrade? Probably because it's 500MB for the applications and 16G for the additional media.

Can watch You Tube vidoes on Internet Explorer but not with Firefox. Why?

This problem has only cropped recently. I don't seem to be able to watch online vidoes - you tube & others - with Firefox (I have the latest version 32) anymore. They start loading & playing & then sit there trying to load but won't go any further. On the other hand, I can use my older version of Internet Explorer to watch the same videos not problem. The play smoothly without stopping & starting. They play as the load. What had changed with my Firefox please? How do I fix this? I am still using Windows XP so prefer not to use Internet Explorer anymore. If you have Not On This iPad selected at the top middle of the Purchased tab in the iTunes app, then tap on All Songs at the top left of the screen and then tap on 'Songs By Most Recent' at the top right and change it to 'Albums By Name' - does the album that you want to download then appear as an album on the right-hand side of the screen ? If it does then tap on it and will hopefully download the whole album.
