Why can't I download images from a shared Album on my iPad?

Does not make much sense to me to build this app around the iPad and give it sharing capabilities but not be able to download from shared albums directly to the iPad.

Yes I am running the latest iOS version and the latest version of the Revel app. Camera roll access is enabled. Have either of you clicked on the link to a shared Album. There is not a save to camera roll option. I guess I have not made that clear enough.
Let's say I share an album. I tweet the share link to you. When you click that link, you go to Revel, and are able to view that album. The arrow that is in the top right hand corner where you would normally go to "save to camera roll" only has four options. "Tweet link, mail link, copy link, and open in Safari".
Ok, maybe if I open in safari I can save image. No, not allowed, and before you ask, allow downloading IS on. Again, nothing there to allow to save to camera roll.
Now if I get on my computer, and open the same link in the browser, I can download to my hearts content. I just can not do it on the iPad.

The USB Camera connecto (30 pin or lightning)r can read pictures from certain flash drives and imp[ort them to the iPad.
The pictures must be in a folder called DCIM and have a naming structure similar to what a camera would produce. 8 character names plus the 3 character extension. ie. image001.jpg
Aside from that, some USB flash drives may require too much power which would cause the iPad to issue a warning.
How are you placing the images in the drive?

Yeah, I have this problem too. Since the HD purchase usually includes the SD movie too, I am perfectly content to watch SD on my Windows computer and HD on my AppleTV.
Only workaround I've found for this is to buy the HD version of the movie on my iPad. Then, download it to my computer via iTunes or by transferring it from my iPad. I hear you can buy it on an iPhone too (4 or 4s) and achieve the same result.
But that's a terrible workaround. I have a number of other HD movies I've purchased with previous versions of iTunes, so this is absolutely something that Apple has introduced relatively recently.

SMS is part of cellular voice communication.
iPads do not do voice over cellular.
iMessage is Apple devices only.
If you want to send and receive SMS you will have to download an app from the store, such as text+.

Hi Drumsing,
As long as you have your iCloud account set up and signed in on both devices, and the Notes checke in iCloud on both devices, there is no reason they should not sync.
Try resetting both devices - Hold down the Hole and Power buttons at the same time and continue to hold until the Silver Apple appears. Do that for both, then try Notes again.
P.S., after you write a note, you need to close the App on the device you wrote the note on before you open the app on the other device to see it.....

Can no longer download images from CF card.

I've been downloading images from my card reader via Bridge for a long time. I just upgraded LR 3.6 to LR 4, and now Bridge doesn't seem to work. If I try to download images, I get the spinning circle, then nothing. The dialog box for importing images from the camera never pops up.

I also wonder if the problem was due to a Photoshopdownloader.exe that was running in the background...
Not familiar with exe as a Mac user but can you specify this? Do you mean the Adobe Photodownloader that comes with Bridge or is it an other part of Photoshop? Some photo applications have been set to auto start upon connecting a camera device. I always deselect them and choose Photodownloader myself on the moment I want to use it.

Because you have a problem and you need to fix it
with no information except it does not work no one can give any more help than that - remember that we are jsut users like yourself and know nothing except what you tell us - which in this case was nothing except it does not work
Some details like the OS version, version of iPhoto, what does happen and what does not ahppen, any recent changes, ect would at least give someone a chance to try to assist you

Can't copy an image from a smart album to normal album

I created a few smart albums that just show images from October, November, etc. Now I'm trying to pull a few images from each of those albums into a regular (not-smart) album (it will be of highlighted images, one from each month).
When I drag the image across, the plus sign is there, and it looks like it works, but when I click on the regular album, it's empty.
The only way I can find to extract an image from a smart album to a regular album is to choose the image and select "new album from selection", but that won't work as I intend to pull many images into a single regular album.

Nah, tried that. I have the new album set to "Show All" and no other filters.
I would appreciate it if someone else tried this and could say if they can reproduce it.

Why can't I drag images from Finder to Design View Dreamweaver CC?

I'm using OS X Mavericks (10.9) and Adobe DW CC
For some reason in both CC and CS6 I can no-longer drag files from Finder (Mac OS X's Explorer) into the design view ( for eg: adding images to a table cell ), the browse button doesn't work properly either... The "browse for file" button only works if there is an image already there and then it will update the image, otherwise if there's no image in the table cell it will bring up the browse dialogue box but does nothing if I select a file and press "open".
Is there a setting that was introduced in CS 6 that affects this behavior?

Only thing I can link it to is the Location services. somehow the phone thinks I can't allow anyone to download images that reveal my location... even on my own computer. A programmers oversight, but i can't figure out how to ALLOW it again!

Check to make sure your credit card details (like expire date, etc) are current.

I live in the UK and wish to download apps from Australia like TENplay but unable to, why is that and when will apple allow us to do so?

It's not Apple's choice. All content is licensed by the rights-holders to Apple to sell on a country-by-country basis, each country therefore has to have its own store and you have to be in a country to use its store. You can try requesting that the app be added to the UK store, but unless the rights-holder agrees to it then Apple can't sell it here : http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunes.html

When I connect the cable between my Cellphone (Vodafone) to my iMac, nothing happens. iPhoto does not recognize my Cellphone. Do I need to install Vodafone software so iPhoto recognizes my phone? I purchased a special cable from Vodafone designed to transfer images from phone to computer.
I download pics from my Canon 20G, Sony Cybershot and Canon G6 with no problems. I love iPhoto.

I may be missing something, but Vodafone is the service provider correct? What phone do you have (example: Motorola V3, Moto V3i, etc)? Does it have Bluetooth? It is much easier to put the photos on your computer first then transfer them into iPhoto.
