Why can't I enter codes to sync?

I have installed Firefox on my Android phone with no problem. When I go to sync with my mac, I get codes, just as shown in the walk-thru. On my phone I also have a code. On neither device can I type in a code, overwrite what is there, nor is there a place to enter a "new" or alternate code. My computer also says that I already have an account set up, yet when I try to use a recovery key (several times) it says "invalid key". I have then tried to update the key, or get a new key, to no avail. I know it is not this hard!!!

Are you entering the sync key of 26 characters or the code to share a device?

It ***** to find out that with using iTunes, you can only use one computer to sync things such as music. The computer that I was previously using with syncing died on me and now that I am on a new one it says that I have to erase everything on my iPhone just to put one mixtape on it which is complete BS. So I ask you Apple, iTunes support, or whoever, why?

If you had your itunes backed up then you would not have that problem. You could restore it using time machine, if on a mac, or other backup software, if on a pc. Also if you had itunes match then you don't need itunes at all to sync your music up anymore.

Why can't I enter any website to block?

I've got a Linksys WRT610N router. I'm in the router's administrative website, looking at the Access Restrictions tab. There's 4 textboxes to enter URL's to block. But I cannot enter anything into any of those textboxes.

Before you try to upgrade the firmware on your Router, you can try to reset your router and re-configure all the settings on your router from scratch and then check if the Access Restriction tab is grayed or you are able to make the changes on it.

I just setup completely the oracle application server downloading from OTN website.
I have created a new OC4J instance 'appweb' in enterprise manager wizard form.
I can look at the jsp code on the browse when I request the demo application instance.
I try to deploy a WAR into the 'appweb' container that is been builded by the JBuilder 7 IDE,
then I can't request all jsp page ,as the browser is normal getting the error 404 message ,but
the jsp page is sure of.

I want to change the http server Port ,but the application server can't been taken any request
servies if change the Port number '7777' in the http.conf file. why for this ??? Be sure , I
didn't change other configuration parameter.

Why can't I colour code my tracks / instruments in a Logic Pro Template?

Hi,
I'm trying to create my own Logic template using an existing example template I found online.
In this template, I want to be able to colour code all of my instruments / tracks so that each time I load my template, all the tracks will be set to specific colours (i.e. all kicks are dark blue, hats are light blue, synths are purple, bassline red, etc etc...)
I've read that you can do this in the mini view menu (View > Configure Track Header > then tick 'Track Colour Bars') then you just select the desired colours for each track, and when you use this template again all these colours will be set.

I've done this with no problems on a completely new project (see image A below) but when trying to do it on this template I downloaded, the colours are not changing (see image B below)

Does anyone have any idea what might be overriding the colour settings on the template (IMAGE B)? As you can see, I have been able to colour the actual midi but it will not colour the actual track.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I was having problems with this for a while. Logic Pro used to let you color they regions and the track at the same time. Now you have to color the track first then click, Option (Alt for PC keyboards) +Shift+C this changes the color of the regions on the track to the same color as the track. Hope this helps!

Why can't I get a complete sync via dotMac?

I have two Macs running Leopard (on the same network at the moment) and a .Mac subscription, and I want both calendars to be identical - which used to be the case under Tiger most of the time. I have had some trouble with inconsistent data in calenders, and have followed advice in this forum etc. My steps were:
1. make sure that one of the computers (my Apple Mini) had all the calendar data up to date.
2. reset the .Mac data from the Mini
3. open iCal on the other computer (my iMac), and when I got a message asking if I wanted to reset the data from .Mac, I replied 'yes'
4. I noticed that some events which are on iCal on the Mini, and now presumably in .Mac, simply don't appear on the iMac. Others do. Specifically I have a four-day event starting tomorrow showing on one computer and not showing on the other one.
Naturally after resetting the .Mac data, I have tried syncing everything, but it has made no difference. I keep getting a message that suggests that I am syncing the iMac for the first time: I tell the machine to get its data from .Mac and then I get the 'inconsistent data' message. I don't see how the data can be inconsistent if I don't choose to preserve ANY of the information on the target machine (the iMac). What is it inconsistent with?
All I want at this stage is to make a completely synced copy (an exact copy) of my calendar data on my two machines and .Mac, based on the data on my first machine.
What am I doing wrong? And incidentally is there a way to look directly on the .Mac database to see what it has actually stored from my syncing efforts?

Sync has changed with the advent of MobileMe. I am now seeing good syncing between my 3 Macs as well as mail, iCal etc accessed via the web. So it all works now, but in a different way to when I asked the question

Why does Calendar take up so much space and why can't I add events or sync?

Since I updated to ios7, my calendar hasn't worked at all. It used to sync with my Google calendar. Now I can't see any events in my calendar. The + sign to add an event is always greyed out so I can't add events. And something I've just noticed is that Calendar takes up 473 MB of space on my phone, making it one of the biggest users of space. (This might be related. If I search for an event in my calendar, it shows a long long long list of events that all say "New Event" that are scheduled to last all day. I can't delete these. It says they are assigned to "Untitled Calendar."
I've tried all sorts of combinations of turning on and off syncing calendars with Google and with iCloud. I can't detect any change. (My Mavericks calendar works just fine and syncs with Google.)

Why can't I connect on firefox sync with fennec ?

I put on my username (email adress), my password and my synckey (I tryed wit the "-" and without in the password) and no way, Fennec still does an annoying connect-disconnected routine with "Incorrect username or password" as reason why.
I tryed everything with the same result.
Please help !

There was a problem with the Firefox Sync server yesterday that probably caused this issue. Sync should work correctly if you try it again today.

Why can't I paste code snippets in Page Properties Metadata area for head ?

I downloaded the new Muse 2014 CC the other day and everything seemed to install correctly, however, yesterday I tried add Google Analytics code snippet to the Page Properties >> Metadata section where code goes into <head> area of the site and after coping the code, in Muse Paste was grayed out. I tried on both the HOME page and Master page.

How can I do a screenshot when my cursor needs to be in the EDIT >> PASTE drop down? It's impossible. Just know that after I click into the <head> code area and select it so that it becomes outlined in blue, then go to EDIT >> PASTE none of the items in the EDIT drop-down are available, everything is grayed out.

Why can't I enter events into my Calendar

I used to be able to enter events in my Calendar. Now I can't. I don't care about synching with any other service such as g-mail, iCloud, etc. Adding events is greyed out.

1. Back up all data.
2. If there are any calendars on your Mac that you don't synchronize with iCloud, export them by selecting them in the calendar list and then selecting
File ▹ Export ▹ Export…
from the menu bar.
3. Quit Calendar.
4. Triple-click the line below on this page to select it:
~/Library/Calendars
Right-click or control-click the highlighted line and select
Services ▹ Reveal
from the contextual menu.* A Finder window should open with a folder selected. Move that folder to the Desktop.
*If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard (command-C). In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Go to Folder...
from the menu bar, paste into the box that opens (command-V). You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return.
5. Launch Calendar. Your iCloud calendars, if any, will initially be gone, but they should resynchronize with iCloud. If they don't, uncheck the box marked Calendars & Reminders in the iCloud preference pane, then re-check it.
6. Import the calendars you exported in step 2, if any, by double-clicking the files.
7. If the issue is resolved, close the Finder window you opened in step 4. Delete the exported files and the Calendars folder on the Desktop.
