Why can't I find my phone numbers in my contacts only email?

I have merged my Iphone 4S with icloud and now only have emails in my phone and no more phone numbers. How do I get the phone to be a phone and not an email contacts? Man pulling hair. I cann't believe Apple is so unlogical. I have a mac and it is a wonder. But the phone?????? waiting to feel the logic. any help would be welcome.

I'm not familiar with non-iOS smart phones, but I'm pretty sure that you'll have to enter your contacts manually. ONce you've done this, back up your iPhone to your computer via iTunes, and to your iCloud account, then do so on a regualr basis. That way, if you need to change your iPhone in the future - an upgrade for example - you can set up your new phone from your previous, most recent iPhone back-up.
Once you've set up your phone, download the Facebook app, log in with your usual credentials, and it should sync with your contacts on your iPhone.
If you mean your WhatsApp app, if your credentials remains the same, I'd have thought they'd appear on your new phone.

Open the message, go to Options -> Automatic find on (Most probably this would be set to off). Now, scroll down, and when the number is highlighted, go to Options -> Use number -> choose from call/add to contacts, etc.

Apple is not in the lost device recovery service just like a car dealer will not help find a lost/stolen car.

Thanks Eric, but that was already turned on. I just now tried turning it off and on again, no change. Actually, I"m more interested in seeing the names than the pictures. I now only see the phone numbers and generic avatars where pics would be.

Where did you get the phone? Facetime is banned in a number of countries in the Middle East. Phones that originate there have had facetime permanently removed. It can not be added back.

Check to see if you have contacts in your Contacts app. This is something that can happen sometimes, and is usually cured by resetting the phone. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. The phone will reboot. No data will be lost.

Why can't siri find me in Haiti when the Map app can?

I know everyone is asking the same questions but I was just wondering, why can't siri find me outside the US (Haiti) when the map application clearly can and has all the info and restaurants, etc. Also Siri can"t seem to be able to dial 8 digits numbers ( 509-xxxx-xxxx). You can't use find my phone from your phone if your other family members use another iCloud account.
You have two options depending on why you want to find the phones.
Use find my phone at iCloud.com on a mac/PC and log in using their account.
Use the find my friends app

What are the options if one iPad was stolen last week and Apple created a bug which the burglar can turn off "Find My Phone"?

Last week, my gf was stolen and lost her iPad. I thought that everything was lost because "Find My Phone" didn't manage to track the iPad location so the police could do something.
Today, I ended up reading this article (http://9to5mac.com/2014/04/03/ios-7-bug-allows-anyone-to-disable-find-my-iphone- and-bypass-activation-lock-without-a-password/) which tells me that the iOS 7.1 presents a bug where someone can deactivate the "Find My Phone" function without the password.
What are the options here so I can rehave the stolen iPad, which Apple helped the burglar to keep it or even sell it?

Apple didn't "help the burgler" do anything. Did she have a passcode on the device? If so, the thief would not have been able to access any of the functions needed to disable Find My Phone. Also, if the device doesn't show up in iCloud's Find My Phone, it may be that it is simply turned off, or not connected to a network.

The email is simple. Just delete her email acoount on her iPhone and configure your account into the phone and then do the same for her on your phone.
The harder issue is that to switch the cellular phone service you will need to switch the SIM cards and the two phones do not use the same size SIM card.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
You can only locate your device when it is logged into iCloud and 'Find My Phone' is enabled, additionally the device will need to be switched on and connected to a wifi or cellular network.
Unfortunately, you cannot activate iCloud or 'Find My Phone' remotely.
If the device is wiped by you or another, you may not be able to locate the device (although some have reported they can)
