Why can't I get Applications and free music from itune stores from Nigeria?

There are lots of my friends who are getting frustrated with their iPhones and iPads because we cannot get most of the applications, music to buy or download even though we have valid paying systems. The annoying information you get is the items are not available in Nigerian stores. What is the way out on this?
I tried registering another apple I.d using U.S.A as my country as recommended by some 'geeks' withouth success.

  • Why can't you purchase an audio book on the Itunes store from an Apple TV?

Apple seems to be moving everything they sell on Itunes to graphics, away from the traditional text based browse function they started with.
I don't think they've done the most effective job on that move on a PC/Mac, it's sometimes easier just to go through the Apple TV and buy from there and let it just sync and transfer to my Itunes library on my PC.
However, I've noticed that you can't purchase an audiobook from an Apple TV, though you can purchase everything else that can play on an Ipod from there.
Audiobooks just don't show up as an option on the Itunes store from an Apple TV, but they do play on your Apple TV if you purchase them from the Itunes store from the PC or Mac you sync or stream from.
Does anyone know if this is a licensing issue, or yet another oops/oversight on Apple's part? Doesn't seem to make sense, Apple has been pushing tighter and tighter integration between the Itunes store and Apple TV, and it's yet another lost revenue stream on Apple's part that I hope they fix.
If you can buy it from the store, you ought to be able to buy it using your apple TV. Period. Makes as much (non)sense as restricting what content you can purchase if you are buying it from an Iphone vs. a PC vs. a Mac. If you sell content on your store that plays on your devices, then sell it, regardless of which device (that you also make and sell) that your customers access your Itunes store from. It's why they make us sync everything back to Itunes on a computer in the first place.
And yes, while it may sound counter-intuitive to listen to an audio book from a device connected to a TV,
I listen to audiobooks from my Apple TV nightly in my bedroom to go to sleep by, streamed via airtunes to the Aux port on my clock radio by my bed, then turn the TV off and snooze. Works extremely well and has for years now. Beats headphones or futzing with external speakers on an Ipod or trudging upstairs to the room I have my PC in to stream an audiobook to airtunes, then back to bed. With Apple TV, it's pick, click, then turn off the tv and the lights. Sure would be nice to buy an audio book that way also.
Any thoughts on why they would restrict you from buying audiobooks from an Apple TV? To me, it's yet another lost revenue opportunity for impulse buys courtesy of Apple.

  • Why can't i get my ipod to go to itunes store? everytime i do a message comes up....itunes has stopped working. windows 7 is looking for a solution. but a solution is never sent my way :( please help.

    any help woukld be great

now i remember it the 5th gen has also had an error message saying it was corrupt, which i find ridiculous, as it has been working fine till now and has not until today been hooked up to my laptop for a while.
Hmmmm. It might be worth checking to see if you're getting a Windows drive letter confusion on that laptop. See the following document:
Windows confuses iPod with network drive or hard drive and may keep iPod from mounting or songs may seem to disappear

  • Why can't I get my printer to print out a playlist from i-tunes? It used to work but now my printer doesn't seem to receive the "print" command.

Why can't I get my printer to print out a playlist from i-tunes? It used to work, but now the printer doesn't seem to recognize the "print" command coming from i-tunes. The printer works for other applications!

I  finally solved this problem after toiling with it for a couple of  days.  Solution:  Once you have  burned your CD you must go back into  iTunes to your music/playlists and select the playlist you just burned  and click file; print and you will  get the mosaics that we have been  accustomed to.  I was on hold with  Apple Support when I found this  myself.  Yes......!!! Problem solved..for me anyway.  Good luck!

    Hi Velvalee,
While there may not be specific information about that error, here is an article of steps for troubleshooting connectivity issues with the iTunes store:

    Hey joshuafromisr,
If you resintall iTunes, it should fix the issue. The following document will go over how to remove iTunes fully and then reinstall. Depending on what version of Windows you're running you'll either follow the directions here:

  • Why can't i successfully put in Paypal for the itunes store....have tried numerous time and get success and then unsuccessful

I want to get 2 updates iPhoto and iMovie that are available and can't get past the requirement to add a payment source.  I've gone through the process several times and will get a successful and then unsuccessful.  The 1st note I get is that it hasn't been used for the iTunes store, which I never use....so frustrated.

Problem resolved. Learned from a tech that I could choose "none", which is grey in the choices.  Did that and was able to then get my available free updates.  I didn't want to set up a prepaid account and didn't have to.  Seems to be a glitch in the system but I'm done with that on.

  • HT201304 The app updates are free why can't I get them other free apps ?

Creating an iTunes Store, App Store, iBookstore, and Mac App Store account without a credit card
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2534
If None is not available - On your computer launch iTunes and click "iTunes Store" in the left navigation pane. Click the "down arrow" next to your name at the top right side of the page and click "Account." Enter your username and password and click "View Account" to log into your account information. Next to your Payment Type, click "Edit." Select the "None" button and click "Done." Confirm that your card has been removed by returning to the Apple account information screen. Under Payment Type, it should say that there is no credit card on file.

  • Why can't I get my third Ipod updated in Itunes?

Can't get my third Ipod update to new ios version. Why?

My first Ipod, 32 gig, was updated with Itunes and the updates were fine. Then I got a 64 gig  Ipod and it was updated fine.  Then I got an Ipad and started updating it with no problems . . . . until an update of itunes last year.  I can't quite remember when, but I'm thinking I read that I could only have two ios update per Itunes. I can use Itunes for sync and monitoring my apps, but no updates were permitted. My other question is, Can I start up another small lap top with Itunes and use my account to update my third Ipod?

  • Why can't I get some of my music to sync?

I had an iPhone 4S, I attempted to change the password to my Apple ID, something went wrong (I don't know what?!) and I couldn't reset the password as I'd lost access to my registered email address.
I registered a new apple ID and all was well till I bought a new iPhone 5 back in September, the music from my new ID came across but the music from my old ID obviously didn't. I'm not very technically minded at all, so I ended up just using my old phone as an iPod basically.
My brother in law had a look at it for me a few weeks ago and somehow managed to change my old ID account details to a different email and password that I can now access, so all of my music I had downloaded on my old ID is now on my new phone along with the music I've downloaded on my new ID.
Now I have just bought a new laptop (windows), I downloaded iTunes, signed in on my newer ID, music synced all fine, but even when I sign in my old ID I can't get my music synced from my old ID?
I'm sorry, I know it's complicated, but if anyone can follow what I'm asking, and then knows how I can get all of my music, new and old, to back up to iTunes on my laptop, I'd be really grateful.
    Thanks in advance.

  • Why can I only see podcasts and no music in the iTunes app on my iPod touch 4g?

I have seen videos on YouTube where in some step they open iTunes on an iPod touch, iPhone or iPad and I can always see that there are no podcasts just music but in my case I can only see podcasts

iTunes Match is a paid-for service where (I think) you can get up to 25GB of non-iTunes purchases uploaded to iCloud from your computer (your iTunes purchases are already in the cloud, and don't count against your Match account).  When you turn on Match on your computer and iOS devices, your iTunes library is replicated in iCloud and pushed down to your device.
I'm paraphrasing a lot, and probably missed some facts, but I'm not an iTunes Match user -- it's not my cup of tea.  I was just pointing out that if you have songs in your library that you didn't buy from iTunes, the only way to download them outside of iTunes is to use Match (unless there's a functional alternative to iTunes that supports iOS devices, don't think so though).
I know what you mean about the long "Waiting for items to copy ..." issue, seems to have gotten worse with iOS 7.1 and/or most recent iTunes update.  I just let my iPhone do its thing, sometimes it takes an hour before it decides to load 20-30 songs onto my iPhone.  I restored my iPhone over the weekend and it seems to have gotten a little better, but still frustrating ... I just have to remember to not re-sync if I'm planning on going anywhere soon.

  • Why can't HK account purchase any item outside of iTunes store HK?!

I had changed my billing address and country to Hong Kong earlier today.
But afterward, the App store stopped me from installing any more app with some reason like "your account is only valid for HK itunes store". In fact, the apps I chose were 'free' and designed for HK user. It's really stupid. I had to change the info all back into Canada.
Why can't we, HK account users, purchase item outside of HK store as long as we have a valid credit card?!

Thank the music industry for this one. A music company may decide to release certain music in some countries only. Before downloads, you had to travel to the country to buy the music. Now, they just block you via the credit card billing address. Pathetic.

  • Why can't I make a purchase in the American iTunes store?

I am a Canadian resident who would like to make a purchase in the US ITunes store. I don't know anyone in the US nor do I have a credit card with an American billing address. Is there any possible way for me to make a purchase in the American store, or am I pretty much screwed? I buy lots of music and all I want to do is give the US Store my money-why is this so hard? This wouldn't be an issue if the Canadian store just had what I am looking for (i.e. TV Shows!) -why does the selection vary from country to country anyway?

Again, It's not up to Apple. They would love to have every track available to everyone in the world. The record companies and other rights holder are different in every country, though, so they require separate negotiation by Apple for the rights in each country. And since the rights are held separately in different countries, they all restrict Apple (and every other legal download store) to selling only to users within that particular country.
So again, Apple can do nothing to change this unless and until the record companies arrive at a cross-border sales agreement, something I don't see happening anytime in the foreseeable future, even within the EU.

  • Why can't I make a purchase of music on itunes?

I just downloaded music I want from the itunes store but it won't let me purchase them. I just have a list of sound bites, not full songs!
