Why can't I get ilife on my ipad without paying when I have it on my macbook?

I have ilife on my macbook and I'm wondering if I can put it on my ipad without paying the individual price for each one.

Because Apple needs to create and maintain the iOS version of it separately. This applies to any product which has both Mac OS X and iOS versions; the developer can require separate payment for both if they so wish.

I assume that you mean that you do have an iPhone because messages will not work with any other type of cell phone. You should be able to add your phone number in Settings>Messages>Send & Receive at>You can be reached by iMessages at, if your phone number is lited in there, select it and then uncheck your email address and then the iPad will be using the phone number just like the iPhone.
If you phone number is not listed in there, you probably have to sign out/turn off Messages on the phone and the iPad and then start over again on the phone - and then your phone number should be accessible to use on the iPad.

There are two different versions of PS Touch that, even though they are similar in function, serve different form factors. One is for tablet (landscape orientation) and one is for phone (portrait).
I guess one could argue why Adobe didn't make it so that orientation didn't matter and would adjust accordingly (a la SketchBook Pro) but you'd have to ask the developers that.

If you have an older LabVIEW (6.1 or earlier) you will need to exchange the in port and out port VIs that came with LabVIEW with different ones and install a DLL. The reason is documented here . This link (which is the first link returned when you search ni.com for "in port") explains basically that the OS won't let you until you have kernel level access. The devzone link at the bottom of the refered page will include all of the code that you need to install (VIs and DLL) to make it work.

If you purchased Pages for the iPhone, iPod touch or iPad in the past, you don't have to pay again to install Pages on your iPad. Just open App Store > Purchased, and download Pages.
If you purchased Pages for Mac, you have to purchase Pages for your iPad. That's because Pages for Mac and Pages for the iPad are different versions designed for different App Stores and different operating systems (OS X and iOS)

Why can't I get my ipod shuffle to do anything when I know the battery is full

Why can't I get my Ipod shuffle to do anything? Before it stopped playing, saying or doing any thing I checked battery and it was full! This has happened before with another Ipod shuffle and I took it back. well, my new one is doing it. It plays for a while and then it decides to stop. Has anyone else experienced this?
Headphones in properly. Check !
Battery full. Check !
I can not even see a light when I switch it on and off. No voice over to tell me anything. Zero music!
Played music for about 1-2 hours max. Should be more than this! Checked battery before it stopped anyway and this was fine.

Any error messages?
Do other devices now connect?
Did the iPod connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on the router
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points

My iPad (4th gen) is not getting messages that are only going to my IPhone 5S. I used to get them on my iPad as well and I have noticed over the past month or so I don't get the. On my iPad as well. I think it was after the last couple updates that this happened. Can someone please help? I have turned off and on both my iPad and phone but to no avail.

Thank you for the suggestion however it did not help. I sent a message from my Iphone before turning the messages off. It went through no problem. I turned off the messages in my Ipad. Then I turned on the messagges in my Iphone and waited till it was active then turned on my messages on my Ipad and waited for that to be active. The latest message that I sent from my Iphone did NOT show up on my Ipad still....
So I turned off my Ipad and turned it on again and did the same with the Iphone and still it doesn't show up on my Ipad messages for that person. The person I am sending it to has an Iphone and Ipad too.

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. Why can't i get my school web site to load? I have all the downloads required( google chrome, internet explorer and firefox but the page still will not open

I can onto anything else on the internet but i cannot get my school web age top load. I can get to the sign in page but when i sign in it just keeps coming up a blank page and does not open. i get no error message with this problem. i was just on this website last week with no problem. When contacting school support they informed me it was on my side of the computer not theirs becasue they can pull up my school work and information from their computer.

When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
(1) Bypass Firefox's Cache
Use Ctrl+Shift+r to reload the page fresh from the server.
Alternately, you also can clear Firefox's cache completely using:
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced
On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now"
If you have a large hard drive, this might take a few minutes.
(2) Remove the site's cookies (save any pending work first). While viewing a page on the site:
* right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
* Alt+t (open the classic Tools menu) > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
In the dialog that opens, remove all the individual cookies for the site. Then close the dialog and try reloading the page.

Sync it to your ipod.
