Why can't I get my email on my ipod?

Try deleting the account on the iPod and recreating the account. Sometimes it is easier to renter everything rather than trying to find the error.
If you need more help please provide any error messages and your email provider.

I've checked everything back to my email on my computer to ensure all details are correct in trying to add the account onto the Ipad. And yet it still won't work.
The error that I keep getting is "One Seniors (the provider) is not responding!!

Appears essential to keep resource-forked data off Lion disk:
First attempt with Eudora on SL VM was sharing data on Lion disk. Error messages on open like "can't find Table of Contents" suggest Lion ate resource forks crucial to Eudora.
Found success by transferring data from SL Mac to thumb drive, then mounted drive in SL VM so Lion couldn't touch.
While Michael warns against storing data in VM, appears there's no choice with Eudora. At least She's enthroned on a mirrored RAID.
There is Nothing like Eudora! (to tune of "There is Nothing Like a Dame" from South Pacific -- Oops! my gray hair is showing!)
(It's amazing Parallels can force Lion to store taboo resource forks. Thank God for code warriors!)

Check if there's e-mail outage with your e-mail provider.

Why can't I get my email on my iPad when every Apple device works just fine?

The title kind of says it all. I get my email (Cox in SoCal) on my desktop and phone but, for some reason, not to my Pad. I'll get a message box saying that the server isn't recognized or unaurthorized or unavailable; sometimes it's a combo of all three. I'm guessing that I have to delete the Mail app then re-install from the App Store and reenter everything. That sound about right to everyone? And, to anyone else in SoCal using Cox, have you had this happen? Just curious. Thanks.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

SHELLI1119, we don't want you to miss any of your messages! Are you able to access your e-mail account form a PC or laptop? Did you recently change your e-mail password? Try removing your e-mail account and re-adding it to your phone. Tap Settings>Under Accounts, tap E-mail>tap the option to remove the account. Once it's removed, you will need to add it back in Settings>Under Accounts, tap Add Account. Keep us posted.

My Blackberry gets emails when i'm at home via our wireless network, but when I'm away from home, I don't get any email messages or text messages at all. We have both the home WiFi wireless network "on" and the Mobile Network is on. What should I do so I can get emails when I'm away from home?

I can sign into my email account where it goes to "Email Preview", it's stuck on that page. I cannot retrieve my emails, address book, etc. Why can't I get my email page?

When I sign into my email account I am brought to the "Email Preview" page. When I click on "email", "address book" or any of the other files, it tries to connect. In the box at the top it says "connect, then Zimbra, then connect again. Then I am brought right back to the "Email Preview" page.
I can't even open individual emails from this page. I am stuck on this page.
Altho, I can sign out.

If you are accessing your Yahoo mail via Mac Mail open the the Mail app.
From the menu bar click Mail / Preferences then seleect the Accounts tab then select the Account Information tab.
Type in the new password.
