Why can't I get my photos from iCloud?

I restored my phone and updated with iCloud. Now everything is perfect but the photos. I have hundreds and many of them of family members that I haven't seen in over ten years. I just expected it to put them in. When I open cam roll, it simply says that they're not there, no loading no nothing. Help please

Does anyone know how I can get my iPhone 4S photos into iPhoto? I'm on 6.0 (10A403) version iPhone and I have a Mac. I've read the how to's but there are no photos even after I select my device.

You could try using an app like PhotoSync to send them wirelessly to your computer.

Do you get a send error message or a red "!" when you send? Do you have a data plan on your account? Check that your carrier has you provisioned for MMS.

It's been a problem for some time now. You can drag a photo from the open iPhoto window into the Contact photo bin, i.e. window to window.

Restart your iOS device.
Delete the affected email account from your device.
Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.

You should call Apple Support and give them your Apple ID so that they can verify how many photos you actually do have backed up in iCloud...
Also, are you able to do an iTunes backup at all? Because that would save all of the photos and allow you to get them onto the new device.

When you enable Photo Stream on your devices, only new photos you take or import to those devices will be automatically added to your Photo Stream. Existing photos won't.

We don't know how to answer because we don't know what you are doing.
I can tell you that you cannot connect the two devices together to transfer content. And videos do not work in Photo Stream, but it does work for photos. However, you can only stream photos to the device after you have enabled photo stream on the iPad. Any photos that were already on the phone - before you turned on Photo Stream -will not sync to the iPad.

Mirroring won't fill the TV screen. The iPad has an aspect ratio of 4:3 and the iPhone 4S or prior an aspect ratio of 3:2, neither of these will fit exactly into a TV screen which as an aspect ratio of 16:9. The Apple TV will not zoom the mirrored image, because it may well cut off information which is situated at the top or bottom of the screen.
You may wish to try each of the settings in settings > AirPlay > Adjust for Overscan for the best setting that suits you.

I have the same problem as the emails go to my iCloud account that I cannot access!!! I cannot answer the security questions as someone else must have set up my iCloud account. Nothing seems to work. It would be great if someone has some ideas as what can be done to recover the situation?
