Why can't i get my songs to download?

I have an iPhone 5 with the latest iOS 7 update. Every time I buy a new album on iTunes or I use the iCloud to download a song it gives me a processing or down load error. What should I do? My hard drive is not full and I have a strong internet connection.

However, it seems to have deleted both so now the song is not on there at all. Why can't I get a song to load from itunes, or Amazon to the slide show?

I have created 3 slide shows in Photoshop Elements 11. No problem until I tried to add audio. First slide show used song from itunes, no problem, 2nd slide show complete try to add new song I downloaded from itunes JUST for this slide show. Error message : codec required....I spent the next 3 hours attempting to solve the problem, downloaded same song from Amazon and still will not work. I have also download Realplayer and still no luck. I even downloaded the song into media of photoshop but can't get it from the organizer to the editor on the slide show.

For itunes, try deleting the album artwork, then try again.

One thing to consider is this ...what are the files formatted in ? If you ripped your CD's via Windows Media Player default settings , they're in 128k Windows Media Audio files . These files must be converted by iTunes before being allowed into the library .

I have over 1,000 songs on iTunes in my new laptop, but for the life of me, every time I sync, it only recognizes the 21 songs already on the touch. How can I get the songs on iTunes on to the touch? Since we have no way of knowing what all the instructions are that you are referring to .... first quit iTunes, restart your Touch, restart your PC and start all over again.
Then ...
Connect the iPad to the PC and launch iTunes.
Click on the iPad name on the left side under devices.
Click on the Music Tab on the right.
Click on all of the albums or playlists that you want to sync - or the entire library if you like.
Click on the Sync Music Heading.
Click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes.
Also assuming that you are signed into the same Apple ID on the Touch that you are using in iTunes - the ID that you used to purchase the music - if it is purchased music that will not sync.

Why can't I get certain songs off my iPhone??!

16 gig iPhone 4S, running iOS 7. I can't delete these stupid songs from the phone and no matter how many times I re-sync they don't go away!!

These are probably songs that you have either deleted in iTunes, or deleted from the phone that were synced to the phone at one time. This is how it determines to put the cloud symbol beside them. iTunes Match is that way as well. Of course, if you would have mentioned the cloud earlier, it would have ended earlier too. Glad you got it sorted.

hi i was wondering why i can not purchase french songs or even find French songs on i tunes.
i found out that i could not do this when i changed my region to French and found a lot of cool songs that i liked. So when I switch back to U.S.A and search for the songs and could not find anything.

Unless the copyright holders for this French content have negotiated a contract with Apple for distribution in the US, there is nothing Apple can do. Also, major record companies DO NOT like cross border sales of music. They can do nothing to stop CD sales, but they do everything they can to block cross-border sales of digital content.

I'm running Firefox 8 but want to uninstall it a load V7 so my McAfee site advisor will work. Why can't I get a link to download a previous version? Can I get V7 somehow?

HT5622 Why can't I get this app to download?

It said it downloaded but the app never popped up on my phone, I go to the app on the apple store and it says play. I click the play button and nothing happens, can anyone tell me how I can get the app onto my iPhone?

Why can't I get Adobe Reader to download on my mac?

Error message 'installation failed' comes up only a few seconds after starting download. Have had my MacBook Pro OS X 10.7.2 for less than a year, and downloaded microsoft office for word processing. Does the error message “PKInstallSandbox-tmp” relate to this in any way?? Am not in any way IT literate and have no idea how to solve this problem. I need Adobe Reader to submit assignments so it is really important. Any advice?

If no joy... Try Reset all settings
Settings > General > Reset > Reset all Settings.
This will return all iDevice settings to factory defaults... you will not lose any data.... But you will have to re-enter all of the device settings.

Why can't I get a purchased song from iTunes to load on my iPhone? I haven't had this problem before? Any clues as to what I am not doing properly, please help.

My purchased song from itunes is on a laptop at work and I can not get it to transfer to my IPhone. The laptop is a shared computer but my job is coming to an end and I would like to recover the purchased songs and delete everyhting before I leave.
Any other ideas on have to move the purchased songs from the laptop?

Did you purchase the ringtone or make it yourself by taking an excerpt from a song?
If taking an excerpt from a song, it must be 30 sec or less. Once you get the 30 sec clip, you have to create an AAC version of the clip. Open the folder with the AAC version of the clip and change the file extension to .m4r I believe. Then double click the new file and it will automatically be loaded in the "tones" folder. You can then open the "tones" folder in iTunes and drag it to your iPhone which is connected to iTunes on your computer.

So why can I not get iTunes working well?? It now takes at least 10 secs for any operation to be completed!
That is just plain evil. But I am sure I could do something to help.
All the music is on an 2T external drive.

Brigancook, is the library database on the external or just the media? iTunes reevaluates smart playlists and rewrites its database after every action on the library. I've found this can make a library half that size, with a lot of smart playlists, quite sluggish. That said I'm aware part of my problem is aging hardware. Having the database on the internal drive may improve performance if it is currently on the external.
I'd expect to see an exponential relationship between size and response time which may explain what you see. Cutting down on the number of smart playlists might help. If we're really lucky the long awaited iTunes 11 might have streamlined some of the background processes as well as cleaning up the front end.
