Why can't I get my temps down?

Ok. i don't know what else to do. I got a new case that's in my sig thinking it'd help. Nope, same temps. I got a new fan, in sig, nope, same temps. I got a PSU with 3 fans thinking it'd also help. Nope, same temps. Can anyone tell me why I can't get my temps down? Idle im at 45C Load about 48. Not much of a difference between the two, but I'd like to get them down in the lower 40s upper 30s at least. What else can I do? Btw, i am o/ced to 3.3ghz and my temps haven't even changed from when I was at 2.8. Any help? thx.

I know that I am a little late in jumping in to this forum, but I found that my case fan setup had a large part to do with my cooling (I know it's a no-brainer right?). I originally had a top case fan mounted on the inside, but when I upgraded my PSU to a 2-fan unit, I no longer had the room for that fan that I once had. So I thought the easiest thing to do would just be to throw it on the back...Bad idea, it ended up that I was pulling air back into the case (because of how I had the fan pointed ) and it was just recycling the hot air blown out by my PSU. I was reaching case temps of up to ~90°F at idle!!!. I finally got smart and moved that fan to the outside top of the case and had it pulling out the hot air. Since hot air rises, this only helped the PSU pull more of the hot air out. I also added an inlet fan in the front of my case so I was able to pull cooler air (i.e at the lower height) into the case and lowered my case and subsequently my CPU and Mobo temps down considerably. I think it would be a good idea to not have counter-acting currents inside your case, but to have a net flow in on one side and out the other.
Just for reference, my CPU temp and mobo temp @ idle are around 30-32°C and my case temp is about 74°F (I apologize for the units, but my case temp monitor only shows °F )
Ok...here would be my question...While running Sandra burn-in (i.e at full load) my CPU temp peaks at 55°C...Is this a problem?? I am only slightly overclocking and am using a pure copper cooler with Aerocool fan...

Try giving your iPad a reset. Hold down the sleep and home keys until you see the silver apple. Let it reboot and try again.
When you're swapping out chargers, make sure you're using an iPad charger. It is different from an iPhone one (iPhone chargers put out about half the power)
Charging via USB will likley tell you that it's not charging because most USB's put out a fraction of the power that the iPad wants, so it says not charging.
ALso try different outlets and cables if you have them
If you go through all that and still can't get it to charge then you may need to make an appointment at your local apple store and have them look at it.

Why can't I get more than 80min. of AAC on a CD

My iTUNES library 2237 songs, 6.4 days, 9.62GB...Playlists of 1.3 hrs. or longer, (74.0 MB) when burned with blank TDK/CD-R 52X 80min. 700MB can't be burned on 1 CD I am told by iTUNES two CD's will be needed...Reduced down to less than 1.3 hrs. it's all burned on 1 CD when I look at the burned CD surface it looks like only about 1/10th. has been used...All the music is AAC from imported CD's and converted files from Audacity 1.2.4b it all plays in iTUNES and every burned CD plays fine.....Why can't I get more than 80min. of AAC music on 1 CD...THANKS in advance

So why can I not get iTunes working well?? It now takes at least 10 secs for any operation to be completed!
That is just plain evil. But I am sure I could do something to help.
All the music is on an 2T external drive.

Brigancook, is the library database on the external or just the media? iTunes reevaluates smart playlists and rewrites its database after every action on the library. I've found this can make a library half that size, with a lot of smart playlists, quite sluggish. That said I'm aware part of my problem is aging hardware. Having the database on the internal drive may improve performance if it is currently on the external.
I'd expect to see an exponential relationship between size and response time which may explain what you see. Cutting down on the number of smart playlists might help. If we're really lucky the long awaited iTunes 11 might have streamlined some of the background processes as well as cleaning up the front end.

Why can't I get my Ipod shuffle to do anything? Before it stopped playing, saying or doing any thing I checked battery and it was full! This has happened before with another Ipod shuffle and I took it back. well, my new one is doing it. It plays for a while and then it decides to stop. Has anyone else experienced this?

I can not even see a light when I switch it on and off. No voice over to tell me anything. Zero music!
Played music for about 1-2 hours max. Should be more than this! Checked battery before it stopped anyway and this was fine.

Any error messages?
Do other devices now connect?
Did the iPod connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on the router
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Have you tried quitting Pages completely, restart the iPad and then go back to Pages and see if they will upload?
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar. Restart the iPad.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

I'm using iTunes 11.4 on a Mac Pro with OS 10.9.5
In good old iTunes 10.7 there was a slider on the right side that you can move up and down to locate songs. That same slider is there, (but much smaller), with iTunes 11.4, but it seems to deactivate itself for reasons I do not understand.
I have found that when I go to the lower right corner and resize the iTunes window the slider will appear briefly. If I don't act very fast, that slider vanishes and I cannot scroll up and down.

As Apple said in June, iOS 7 is not compatible with the 4G iPod.
All the iOS devices compatible (iPhone 4 and later, iPad 2 and later, and 5G iPod touch) with iOS 7 have at least 512 MB of memory (RAM). The 4G iPod only has 256 MB

Are you trying to sign in to photoshop.com? That's long gone - Adobe shut it down last year. But you don't need to sign in to photoshop.com to use the Organizer and the Editor so just ignore that.

Actually, everyone missed one point, when a device is priced, the cost of icloud storage space for that device is also included in it that is why they are able to give you 5gb each for each user ID, in nutshell there is nothing free coming with apple device purchase, it is paid for. What they are trying by giving only 5gb per user ID irrespective of the number of devices used is pure broadlight looting, they take money from you when you buy each device and give you nothing, This is a case of goods and services bought but not fully deliverd ie apple can be suied for discreminatory treatment towards it's users. I wonder why no one tried this yet in America where everyone sue everyone for petty things..... there is no one to take up this issue? . if tim got any love for the guys who shell out money for the devices his company makes, he should be implimenting this as priority before someone wake up from sleep and sue him.

You likely had FF 3.6 instead of 6. At the moment, FF 4 is the latest version. If you wish to rollback to an earlier version, you can download your preferred version for your OS here:

Why can't I get a straight answer re: Multi Room DVR and HD Boxes

A rep that I spoke w/ on the phone and the website tells me that the HD set top boxes are not compatiable w/ the Multi Room DVR. But they are working on it. A rep I chatted w/ today told me they definitely WILL work together. Why can't I get a straight answer?? And what IS the correct answer? I want to switch to FIOS and I really like the Multi Room DVR option, but I don't want my 1 of my 2 main TVs to be w/o HD. And since the Multi Room Box is HD why wouldn't it be compatiable w/ the HD boxes??
Does anyone know what's going on w/ this?? Thanks!

And that info is out of date, whether it is on Verizon's website or not. If you have the latest level of the IMG (1.6), then, as confirmed one post above yours, that the HD STB is now supported, and works. This has been posted in multiple posts on multiple forums, so I believe that it is accurate. But I do not have the 1.6 level so I cannot confirm that personally, I can only repeat what other posters in this and other forums have said. For example:

Why can't I get Back To My Mac to work in both directions between my 2011 Mac Book Air and my 2012 Mac Mini? The network uses a Time Capsule. Everything works when connecting from the Mini to the Air, but the reverse is not the case, none of the Mini's drives are visible, and the screen sharing option is not available. I've tried the measures already suggested in online articles, everything seems to be configured correctly using my iCloud account. I'm at a loss, any suggestions would be appreciated.

I've now managed to get the service running in both directions, but not in the way I had anticipated. I had to create a second account on the Mac Book Air, this also has administrator privilages, everything works fine when connecting from this acccount. However, this is not the way I would expect to work, none of my documents, applications and settings would be available, unless I laboriously duplicated them to the new account.
Also, I've yet to get the service running from outside my home network.
