Why Can't I get only English emails regarding Mozilla FoxFire.

I keep getting emails from presumably Mozilla that are not in English but in some EU language that I can not translate nor do I want to. I do not know when this got started regarding FireFox, but it needs to be modified ASAP--PLEASE.

Mozilla doesn't send a lot of email messages to users. Are they Mozilla newsletters? What information do you have about the sender?

You can adjust the language of your Lightroom installation in the preferences for the Application.

Why can't I get my comcast email now that I have the cloud?

Double-check Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars to confirm that your Comcast account is still set up on your devices. If it is, there may be a problem at Comcast's end. There have been several reports of Comcast email not being received at iCloud email addresses. This is a different problem that yours, but may be related.

No proxies, deleted & recreated airport network.
Reset by BT home hub.

Hi,
Skype is probably set to start when you boot your computer. It could be the culprit as it has a tendency to steal a lot of bandwidth from other applications. Try disabling it on startup by going to System Preferences under Accounts, then to Login Items, and by removing Skype from the list (you can add it back later). Reboot your Mac and tell us if you still have problems browsing the Web or sending/receiving email.

I'm having a problem signing into Facetime, it says my apple ID account has not been verified so I go to My Apple ID and sign in and click verify in order for it to send me an email. It doesn't be anything. It doesn't send an email it goes through the process of refreshing but I know that normally if it sends an email, a message comes up saying an email was sent. I don't get this and when I check my mail account nothing comes through. Please help me with this problem.

If you are still have having difficulty your computer maybe covered by AppleCare if it is less than 90 days old or you already bought it. You can find the phone number in the manual, they're open M-Saturday during business hours and should be able to help you out.

I changed my ICloud email address and typed in my new one and everything was fine until i came up with 'you need to verify you email address'.
So i checked my email and had no mails, i then tried to log into the site and send my verification from there, again.. no email. I have no idea what to do, any help is appreciated, thank you.

I assume that you mean that you do have an iPhone because messages will not work with any other type of cell phone. You should be able to add your phone number in Settings>Messages>Send & Receive at>You can be reached by iMessages at, if your phone number is lited in there, select it and then uncheck your email address and then the iPad will be using the phone number just like the iPhone.
If you phone number is not listed in there, you probably have to sign out/turn off Messages on the phone and the iPad and then start over again on the phone - and then your phone number should be accessible to use on the iPad.

Appears essential to keep resource-forked data off Lion disk:
First attempt with Eudora on SL VM was sharing data on Lion disk. Error messages on open like "can't find Table of Contents" suggest Lion ate resource forks crucial to Eudora.
Found success by transferring data from SL Mac to thumb drive, then mounted drive in SL VM so Lion couldn't touch.
While Michael warns against storing data in VM, appears there's no choice with Eudora. At least She's enthroned on a mirrored RAID.
There is Nothing like Eudora! (to tune of "There is Nothing Like a Dame" from South Pacific -- Oops! my gray hair is showing!)
(It's amazing Parallels can force Lion to store taboo resource forks. Thank God for code warriors!)

Have you got notifications muted ? Only notifications (including games) get muted, so the iPod and Videos apps, and headphones, still get sound.
Depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to (mute or rotation lock), then you can mute notifications by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad, or via the taskbar : double-click the home button; slide from the left; and it's the icon far left; press home again to exit the taskbar. I've checked everything back to my email on my computer to ensure all details are correct in trying to add the account onto the Ipad. And yet it still won't work.
The error that I keep getting is "One Seniors (the provider) is not responding!!
Does anyone have any suggestions as to why it won't work?
I have internet access and it's working. I'm using WiFi and that's working??
