Why can't I get Premiere Pro CC to download onto my Mac?

I joined Creative Cloud for college and had a discussion with a representative about my membership. First off I was suppose to be able to use CS6 (which I prefer) but can't without paying an additional amount per month.
Now every time I go to download Premiere CC all it gives me is the loading screen then nothing happens. I have projects I need to get done and I'm starting to get pretty pissed off.

If you mean that your iPad is not appearing in iTunes then have you got the latest version of iTunes (it needs version 10.2 +) and is your OS X version 10.5.8 + ? There is further troubelshooting help here http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1591

if you have sound icon on your menu bar: press alt on your keyboard and click mouse on sound icon - check is the correct audio output is selected.

Why can't I redownload Premiere Pro CC?

I just bought a subscription to the Creative Cloud and I've downloaded all the apps I wanted except Premiere Pro. Before buying the subscription I had a trail version of Premiere Pro running on my mac which I deleted before downloading the Creative Cloud App. Premiere Pro shows up under the catagory "Your Apps" in which it tells me it is up to date however I don't have it installed.
Whenever I try to redownload it from the app, in-browser download center, or even the trial version the Creative Cloud App opens and just does nothing.
How can I redownload and reinstall the CC version of Premiere Pro?
Additional notes:
I have a 64-bit opperating system (yes, I've made sure)
Adobe Application Manager is having similar problems

Hi Glen Case,
Please try the following steps.
Launch the Creative Cloud Desktop App.
Sign out of it.
Navigate to the location Main HD>Library> Application Support>Adobe>Caps
Rename the "Caps" folder to anything else.
Launch the application & see if that helps.

If you are on Windows, make sure you have a 64-bit OS. Premiere Pro won't install on a 32-bit OS.
Else if you are getting any error while downlaoding, please tell us more details about the error.

Why can I not get my Pro 8000 to default to A4

Well I finally managed to get my Officejet Pro 8000 A809 to work on "Network" with all my computers, my Windows 7 ACER laptop took a lot of persuading, and a 2 hour download on 2 computers of the latest software (once for the XP PC to which the ethernet ports are connected, and once to the laptop), before finally working as a "Web services printer" after having told me to disconnect the USB cable. I plugged the USB back in later, and lo and behold it decided to work with that too. My wifes ASUS would not install at all and kept throwing up a fatal error message on drive F: - Hold on, it doesn't have a drive F:, so I got my external DVD R/RW and plugged it into the USB socket, I now had a drive F: and it loaded perfectly. So if this happens to you, you know what to try! The surprise was how effortlessly the Apple Mac Mini connected.
My major problem is convincing the printer to default to A4 instead of US Letter size. If I go to preferences and play with the pretty pictures and set single sided printing to A4 and "APPLY" and click OK then it is set to A4.... until I set double-sided printing to A4, whereupon single-sided reverts to US Letter - Yes, I know I can set my own styles, but that clutters up the viewing panel, and some choices disappear off the bottom. Any suggestions?

Thank you for you post. The Hp Software Drivers are designed to have the Letter size as default for all region, However, you can follow the below given steps to resolve this issue .
In order to resolve the issue please follow the steps given below:
1.       Click on Start and click on Control Panel.
2.       In the control Panel window click on “Regional and Language Settings”.
3.       In the regional and language options window, click on Formats tab.
4.       Under Current format select “English (United Kingdom)”
5.       Then click on Locations tab and under Current location select “United Kingdom”
6.       Then click on Keyboard and Languages tab and then click on Change Keyboards button that will open the Text Services and Languages window.
7.       Click on General Tab and under default input language select “English (United Kingdom)”. If United Kingdom is not listed, then click on Add.
8.       Select United Kingdom and click on OK, then select United Kingdom and click on Move Up.
9.       Click on Apply and then on OK.
10.   In the Regional and Language Options window, click on Administrative tab.
11.   Under Language for non – Unicode programs, click on “Change system locale” button.
12.   Under “Current system Locale” click on the drop down menu and select English (United Kingdom) and click on OK.
13.   You will be prompted to restart the computer. Click on Restart Now.
14.   Once the computer is restarted, please click on Start and then on Control Panel.
15.   In the control Panel window, click on “Regional and Language Settings”.
16.   In the regional and language options window, click on Administrative tab.
17.   Under “Reserved Accounts” click on “Copy to reserved accounts” button.
18.   Check the boxes “Default user accounts (new users)” and “System accounts (local system, local services, and network service)” and click on OK.
19.   Then click on Apply and then click on OK.
20.   You will be prompted to restart the computer. Restart the computer and check.

Why can't Adobe offer Premiere Pro (and its other software) as a perpetual licence and via the cloud

It seems clear to me some like the cloud and others don't. Why? Customers have different requirements. Each approach offers attractions to different people. A company ignores its customers requirements at its peril. You just have to remember VHS vs BetaMax - BetaMax was far superior but it is no more. Maybe not a great comparison but the point is even great products fail. By offering both Adobe would secure a wider and happier customer base.

I am in the UK, we have HD TVchannels but still a mass of SD ones.
4k or whatever will be a long time coming and it will be on satelite first but that is very far off
That said my camcorders/DSLR's all handle AVCHD HD so no expense there for qute a while
My PC is fast enough and I have three cloned boot drives so apart from upgrades due to MOBO/CPU failures no expense likely here
So with all the above I reckon that as long as I do not have any problems that require re-installing the Adobe software then I am good for the next 10 years
10 years of not buying Adobe products
10 years of updating Edius, Hitfilm, or even subscribing to Lightworks (10 years at $60 per year, you do the math)
That is just me not buying
Oh to have so much money, I may even go to the F1 GP next year with all I will save unless they make that subscription only

Why can't I get my belkin router to communicate with my mac?

I got a belkin wireless router and every time I have tried to hook it up it will get to almost the last step and then say it can't communicate.
I am not sure what else to do. I guess I don't know what to do at all. I tried installing with the quick install cd that came with the router.
I am not sure if there are supposed to be settings I need to add or change in my mac or what settings i need to input in one of the steps hooking it up.
I halfway know what I am doing but to go much deeper in getting it hooked up, I have no clue.
Thanks so much for any help you can give me! I am just so tired of sitting on the floor in the corner with a laptop (my whole plan to getting a laptop so i could go wireless) and want a little freedom.

Welcome to the Discussions.
You can access the router's setup pages by connecting your iBook to it with an ethernet cable, launching Safari and entering 192.168.2.1 in the address bar and pressing enter. Click on the menu items on the left (you'll be asked for a password, by default there is none...just leave it blank and click OK) and enter the necessary information. Start with LAN Settings. The only thing you may have to enter there is the subnet mask of 255.255.255.0.
Next are the WAN Settings. You'll need to know the type of connection you have. Your ISP can supply you with that information.
Next are the Wireless Settings. Select a channel other than the default, name your network and turn on Broadcast SSID. That will help your iBook find the network the first time (turn it off later). Don't set any security until after you can connect then go back and enable WPA security.
Once it's setup, disconnect the ethernet cable and turn on AirPort. Select your new network in the drop down menu and you should connect. Select "Connect to a Specific Network" in System Preferences.Network and it will connect to it whenever the computer turns on.
Use the manual that came with the router. You want the manual setup section. Once you have all the info necessary and you get stuck, call Belkin's help line. They're very good and will get you connected.
