Why can't I hear output from radio and other apps

When I first got my firefox os phone the radio worked great but since installing a couple of apps (Recorder and Piano) I can no longer get any sound out of radio or either of the apps, nor my videos, either via speaker or headphone although both speaker and headphones work fine for voice calls still.
Using firefox os 1.3 on ZTE phone

Thats got my radio back thanks. Need to try again with recorder later.

I can't see downloaded wallpapers from Safari or other apps in my Photos folder

Only the pictures that I click from the camera are being seen in the camera roll and the older wallpapers. None of the new pictures downloaded from Safari or other apps are seen. I tried deleting some photos, hoping that there must be a limit on the number of photos one can keep in the folder, but even that didn't help.
Can someone tell what is the issue over here? I am using an iPhone 4.

Links from Mail and other apps don't go to open copy of Firefox but attempt to open a second copy, so I get "A copy of Firefox is already open," FF 22, OS10.8.4

Links from within Firefox windows open new tab, but links within Mail, MSWord, and other apps attempt to open another copy of Firefox, and I get the "Close Firefox: A copy of Firefox is already open. Only one copy of Firefox can be open at a time." This just started happening less than a week ago. I don't know when FF updated to version 22.0.

My problem seems to be fixed--I cannot reproduce it now, though it had been consistently happening for the past 3-4 days. The suggestions above do not seem to apply in any case: I do not want to open another instance of Firefox but simply to connect with the one that is already running; and I do not seem to have a .parentlock file.
If the problem returns, I'll be back. Meanwhile, thanks for the suggestions.

Printing from abiword and other apps

this is my first post and i'd like to start off by saying that this distro is amazing! i love it!
when i first decided to install it, i thought i might not be able to do it as i am such a dumb-user... but actually, installing it was extremely easy!
i've been using archlinux for a couple of weeks now but i haven't solved all my problems yet...
the most annoying is printing.
i installed cups and set up my printer. it works just fine from OpenOffice but i don't know how to set abiword and other apps (such as xfprint) to print from the same printer.
when i try from abiword, i can only print using lpr and that doesn't work. what should i do to make abiword see my printer?

the printer is an epson stylus color 400 on a parallel port and is set up properly with cups and the driver i've always used (gimp-print). the program i'm trying to print from with no success is abiword.
i tried what kalidor suggested and it works from acroread but it doesn't work from abiword.

Why can't I hear anything from my Bluetooth

My Bluetooth is connected but I can't hear anything on it. I've even connected the Bluetooth in my car and I still can't hear anything. The phone does not give me the option to select the Bluetooth or the phone. What's the problem?

Printing to DVD Disk From Photoshop and Other Apps

I have Sure Thing disk labeling software and Photoshop CC that I use to create labels. There doesn't seem to be any presets for using this specific printer to work with DVD disks. How do I get the info for this printer into the other apps so that they show up as choices in the print settings? Your user manual gives NO information on this. What settings should I use?
For example, in the Photoshop print settings, when I select the Pro-100 as the printer it shows a print preview window that is inaccurate. It shows a 5.95" x 12.6" document with the print design in the center vertically and horizontally. But, the DVD is not in the center of the print tray. It is about 2/3rd of the way up and slightly to the left. The computer needs to know the exact position settings so that it prints where it's supposed to.
In the Sure Thing software, the presets do not even list this printer. It seems when you install the printer driver software, that all of that information should be installed into any apps that use the printer. The same goes for the DVD case inserts.

Applications don't have printer specific information -- all of that is part of the printer driver provided by the printer manufacturer.
You need to contact your printer maker and work with them to determine why their driver is not providing the necessary information to the OS and Photoshop.

When I am in my car I am not able to hear much of my music from my iPod touch. I use an auxilliary jack. Is there some setting or adjustment that can be made?

Are you connecting it to the iPod's headphone jack? Do headphones work?

Why can I get 4k output from MSI Radeon HD 5450 on Win XP but not Win 7?

A few months ago I bought a msi Radeon 5450 Graphics Card.
I was surprised impressed that I could get 4k output (3840 x 2160) on my SEIKI monitor (via HDMI at 30Hz). This exceeds the specification!!!
However, when I took this Graphics card from my Win XP box and put in Windows 7, I can't run at 4k. The highest resolution choice is 1920 x 1080.
In Win XP, I just had to do "Detect Displays" in CCC and the 3840 x 2160 resolution would show up as a choice.
But when I do "Detect Displays" in CCC in Windows 7, I don't get the 3840 x 2160 as a choice. I only get 1080 as a choice.
I did notice the Catalyst Control Centre (CCC) program between Windows XP and Windows 7 is different.
The Win 7 PC, has an APU (not sure if that has any bearing).
Can anyone advise what I can do?

Why can't I hear sound from my keynote presentation while using Apple TV? Presentation is in 5 days and this is my first time using the iPad for presentation.

I am new to apple. But a quick convert since I just went out and got the iPhone as well.
I am using keynote Apple TV and the iPad wireless
I made a mini movie in iMovie trailer and have it in my presentation. Everything mirrors perfectly except the sound on the audio. So I can see the movie just can't hear it.
Presentation is in 5 days and I'm starting to get nervous haha

Why can't I open files from pages and numbers on my mac, I can open them on my macbook air

When I try and open a file from either numbers, pages and keynotes on my mac I get a message telling me "The file “Essential Skills Module 10 Presentations.key” couldn’t be opened." I am still able to open them on my MacBook Air and iPad. Can anyone help me with this?

Flash is an old media format often used on websites to show videos. The makers of Flash (Adobe) never made a version if it for iOS devices and have now abandoned all development of it for mobile devices because it is a security risk and not good for the battery life of mobile devices.
A dedicated app is an app that is dedicated to a single service, company or website.
Amazon and IMDB have apps in the AppStore. Search for them download them and use them instead of trying to use their websites.
The blue question mark you see on some websites appears when the media you're trying to view is in a format not supported by the iPad (usually an older, non-mobile format such as Flash or Windows Media). Most websites use more modern video formats that work across all computers and mobile devices, some don't.

Why can't i get locations of restarants and other places on siri in the uk

have tried to get locations of places in the uk useing SIRI but it can only give me locals in the USA what do I do about that. restarants are no good to me in the usa.

Seems like Apple haven't done a similar deal with any information suppliers in the UK. Nice of them to say up front that finding Businesses using Siri only works in the US.
Siri is in beta though, so fingers crossed it will be added sooner rather than later

I don't believe you can perform all functions without a remote. If you don't have the remote, you may want to acquire a new remote.

Acrobat X freezing when printing from IE and other apps

Since the last update, each time I try to print to .pdf while in Internet Explorer, or other Microsoft applications, it will not print to file AND it freezes the application (I am left with a print window frozen AND the application frozen). Any ideas? Thank you.
