I just got a new Toshiba Satellite L770 laptop and cannot download Itunes. When I go to the site, I click on "download," but nothing happens. HELP??

Generate the error message again. While the error message box is open, hold down the Alt key and hit the PrtSc key. Paste the screenshot into an image file (using a program like Paint), and save the file.
Start a reply here and click the wee camera icon at the top of the reply window. Click "Choose file", browse to the image file, select the file and click "Open". Now click "Insert file" to insert the screenshot into the reply.

Theoretically, Microsoft is deciding what apps you can install. In Windows RT, you can only install apps from the Windows Store and they must be ARM-based, things that Apple and iTunes don't meet, so you can't use iTunes in Windows RT

Removing and reinstalling iTunes and other software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8

it looks as though i have to download them all again because next to each song on both my phone and laptop there is a cloud with a red arrow.
i installed the itunes, then plugged my phone in and followed all the instructions- the itunes on my laptop shows all the songs but still has the cloud symbol

You should copy everything from your old comptuer to your new one.

Let's try a standalone Apple Application Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of the issue.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR:

Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleApplicationSupport.msi to do a standalone AAS install.
Does it install properly for you? If so, does iTunes launch properly now?

i'm trying to install itunes onto a new laptop its a compaq with windows 7. it belongs to a friend and it never had i tunes on it before. i have tried downloading itunes from the main apple site, however when it begins installing the download stalls around 7 or 8% and thats it. have admin access, deleted temp internet files already. So, I am trying to install the newest version of itunes on my Dell with Intel i3 Windows 8- 64 bit system. I had itunes on my old laptop (running Windows Vista) and it worked just fine, but when I tried to install it on my new dell, I get as far as downloading (itunes64setup.exe) and after it is done downloading and I try to install it, it gives me a pop up that says something along the lines of "this app can not be installed on your system- contact software manufacturer for the correct version for your system" I spent several hours on the phone yesterday with an apple rep and they weren't able to resolve it either. They had my delete the itunes that I had just downloaded, turn off my internet protection and try downloading the same one again. It downloads, it just won't install afterwards. When that did not work either, she had me try installing the standard 32 bit version, still nothing. Then she had me install the older itunes 9.2 to see if that would install and then I could just update it afterwards, but that would not install either after downloading. I tried restarting my computer and then downloading it again, same issue. I've been using the newest version of Firefox, but I tried downloading and installing it in IE. Same issue. Tried IE w/out internet protection, same issue. As a last resort I saved the itunes installation from my old laptop on a flash drive and tried to install it on my new laptop from the flash drive and it almost seemed like it would work, it started the installation wizard, but after a minute it stopped and said that it was a 32bit version and that I needed the 64 bit version for my system. That is actually the farthest I had gotten with any of my tries. It would not even get to the installation box with any of the other tries!!! If any one knows a solution for this, I would be so greatful!!! I tried the tips from past discussions and it did not resolve it. HELP!!!

I uninstalled itunes on and all it's components on my desktop yet I have tried several times to reinstall itunes 7 and it won't even download !
