WHY CAN'T I INSTALL THE DRIVERS PROVIDED IN HP FOR MY LAPTOP?

I have an HP Pavilion g4-2014tx and I downloaded the drivers for my intel graphics and the setup says that the computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software. How come it does not meet the minimum requirements when it is specifically for my laptop? Please help!

Hi:
Your model has the AMD/Intel switchable graphics.
That means the only graphics driver you should install is the AMD graphics driver from your notebooks support and driver page.
Never attempt to install the standalone Intel graphics driver or allow windows update to install an updated Intel graphics driver or your switchable graphics will no longer function.

why can't I install the App Store App on my Mac OS X v10.5.8
Just purchased OS X Mountain Lion but in order to down load I have to have the App Store App on my Mac. Please help.

10.6.6 was the 1st to support the App Store, 10.6.8 is actually needed now as a minimum.
Install it & update to 10.6.8 so you have the App Store to buy & download the huge 10.8 Installer.(10.9/Mavericks is the only download available now without specially calling Apple).
    Snow Leopard/10.6.x Requirements...
    General requirements
       * Mac computer with an Intel processor
        * 1GB of memory (I say 4GB at least, more if you can afford it)
        * 5GB of available disk space (I say 30GB at least)
        * DVD drive for installation
        * Some features require a compatible Internet service provider; fees may apply.
        * Some features require Apple’s MobileMe service; fees and terms apply.

Because eight years ago, when Apple developed it, Steve Jobs was adamant that iOS NEVER EVER EVER be compatible with Flash. That... will never change.
Apple says to use "SkyFire" as your browser if you must view Flash content (which they do not recommend you do with an iPad). It's free in the App Store.

  • Why can't I install the newer version of Flash when I already have the older one?

My virus software is turned off. I have Flash currently on my computer. In the troubleshooting page I can see the clouds in the picture so I know my current flash is working.  I went into the internet settings for add-ons and the flash is currently enabled.  Why can't I install the newer version of Flash? I tried the run and save option and it still didn't work. I can see the installer in my downloads folder. But, all I get is a black blank box that does nothing. What else can I try to get the installer to actually install the updated version of flash?

    Try the offline installer(s)
Flash Player for ActiveX (Internet Explorer)
Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)
Flash Player for Mac OS X

  • Why can't I install the latest version of Flash Player?

Why can't I install the latest version of Flash Player?  The install button is always gray.

    Don't use the downloader/installer.
Use the FULL offline installer: http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/licensing/mac /install_flash_player_12_osx.dmg
And DON'T run it either. When you mount the dmg
and it opens the window, right click the installer and "Show Package Contents"
Double click the Adobe Flash Player.pkg and let it run the COCOA installer.

  • Why can't I install the latest version of Flash Player?  I have all plug-ins allowed.

Why can't I install the latest version of Flash Player?  I have all plug-ins allowed.

If you're sure you've installed the latest version of Flash, take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried. After each step, relaunch Safari and test. For a "missing plug-in" error, start with Step 8. Back up all data before making any changes.
    Step 1
You might have to log out or restart the computer before a Flash update takes effect.
    Step 2
From the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Privacy ▹ Remove All Website Data...
and confirm. Close the window. Then select
               ▹ System Preferences… ▹ Flash Player ▹ Advanced
and click Delete All. Close the preference pane.
    Step 3
If you're only having trouble with YouTube videos, log in to YouTube and load this page. You may see a link with the text "Leave the HTML5 Trial." If so, click that link.
    Step 4
    a. If you get a warning of a "blocked" or "outdated" plug-in, then select the Security tab in the Safari preferences window. In the list of plugins on the left, there should be one—and only one—entry for "Adobe Flash Player," showing the same version number that you installed. Select that entry. On the right there will be a list of websites for which you have specifically allowed Flash, if any. It's normal for the list to be empty. Below that is a menu labeled
              When visiting other websites
From that menu, select either Allow or Ask.
    b. If you still get the alerts, then go back to the Flash Player preference pane and select the Advanced tab. Click Check Now. Quit and relaunch the browser.
    c. If the alerts still persist, triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
    /System/Library/CoreServices/CoreTypes.bundle/Contents/Resources
Right-click or control-click the highlighted text and select
              Services ▹ Open
from the contextual menu.* A folder should open. Inside it, there should be a file named "XProtect.meta.plist". If that file is missing and you know why it's missing, restore it from a backup or copy it from another Mac running the same version of OS X. Otherwise, reinstall OS X.
*If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. In the Finder, select
              Go ▹ Go to Folder...
from the menu bar and paste into the box that opens by pressing command-V. You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return.
    Step 5
In the Safari preferences window, select the Advanced tab and uncheck the box marked
              Stop plug-ins to save power
    Step 6
Open this folder as in Step 4:
    /Library/Internet Plug-Ins
Delete the following item, or anything with a similar name, if present:
              Flash Player (failing).plugin
You may be prompted for your login password.
    Step 7
Re-download and reinstall Flash. Download it from the domain "get.adobe.com". Don't click a link from any other website, including this one, because you can't trust links. They may be an attempt to trick you into installing malware masquerading as Flash. Type the address into the browser window. Never download a Flash update from anywhere else.
    Step 8
If you get a "missing plug-in" error, select
              Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Security
from the Safari menu bar and check the box marked
              Allow (or Enable) plug-ins
    Then click the button marked
              Manage Website Settings...
if present and make sure that the website is not blocked for Flash.
    Step 9
    Select
              Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Extensions
from the Safari menu bar. If any extensions are installed, disable them.

Best thing is to read the instructions before you start actually, but now you need to go back to OSX, start Boot Camp Assistant again and perform the first task on the list, download the Windows Support Software, then go back to Windows and install it. You'll need a thumb drive or a blank DVD to store the drivers on.

Why can't I install the latest update? There is an update available. I'm asked to agree to the terms. I do and nothing happens.

There are two common reasons why an iPad can't be updated to the latest version of the operating system.
The most common reason is storage space. You can try to free up space of your iPad.
The second most common reason is the original iPad. For example, for iPhone, only iPhone 4s and the later can upgrade to iOS 8 and the higher.

  • Why can't i get the drivers for my jorway 73A to recognize the dll that they call for?

I am using the drivers taken off your site for the jorway 73A scsi camac controller on labview 4.1. The drivers call for cmjwdll.dll, which is in the directory the vi is in, but it does not seem to recognize it. everytime i select the dll and hit open it pops up the same window asking me to find the file again. I went down into the sub vi and the error is that it doesnt see the file. do you have any idea why this would be? please let me know. thanks.

(I'm starting a new thread since I was tired of scrolling through all the "Comments")
    Josh,
I really don't know what to suggest at this point...those DLLs (cvirt.dll, cvirte.dll) are DLLs that are installed with the CVI run-time engine...I have no idea why your instrument driver needs them...are you *sure* you are using the driver from the URL I gave in my initial post? Please double-check that...
If that's not the cause of the problem, perhaps you should download and install the CVI Run-time Engine from our website...although I wouldn't know which version for you to install, since you are using an old version of LabVIEW (4.1), so I'm not sure which version of the CVI run-time engine would be needed. Perhaps you can experiment and try different ones.
    Please update
me on your progress, and thanks again for your patience.

  • Why can't I install the flash player on my Kindle Fire???

I have tried several times to install the flash player on my Kindle Fire but it keeps telling me there is an issue opening the download. How am I able to download it yet am unable to install it. It makes no sense to me why it would be able to download yet not be able to open the installation. Is this a problem that is being fixed? I've tried to "troubleshoot" this issue myself but there is little information on it. If the Kindle Fire is unable to install the Adobe Flash player then there needs to be some changes made either on your companies part or Amazons. There are apps offered on the Kindles that need this flash player in order to operate. If you could back to me with an answer as soon as possible I would greatly aprreciate it. Thank you.

    Hi,
Although we continue to provide security and patch releases for Android devices which originally shipped with Adobe Flash Player, new feature development for the Android browser has drawn to a close as we shift our focus to Adobe AIR for mobile applications. For more details on the rationale for our decision I refer you to the following article.

The following article describes how to manually install the Adobe Flash Player manually on your Android device.

Another alternative is to install the SkyFire browser, which appears to support Flash Video.
