Why can't I load my FCP 7 disc on Lion?

I have the install discs from FCP 7, and Lion is saying they're not supported. I'm so frustrated, is there and way around this? Please help.

does migration assistant let you extract it from your old OS (you did back it up right?)

    Do you have a smaller capacity micro SD card to try? I seem to remember from past posts that users were having problems with cards larger than 32GB, however, Apple's page doesn't mention this.

    For security reasons, the Flash Player doesn't allow applications to access both the file system and the network.
    One workaround is to compile the plugins in statically (rather than load them dynamically).  The Akamai Plugin Sample shows you how to load plugins either way, you can see the source here: http://opensource.adobe.com/svn/opensource/osmf/trunk/apps/samples/plugins/AkamaiPluginSam ple/.

    Why can't I load iOS 4.3.5 onto my older (2nd gen?) iPod touch?  I think it's second generation.  The current software on it is 3.1.3.  When I try to add newer apps, iTunes tells me: "The app [insert name] was not installed because it requires a newer version of iPod software."   I get that maybe the OS on the iPod is old, but then I go to "Summary" in iTunes it tells me the software is up to date and iTunes will automatically check again.  Where can I get the newer software?  Will it run on my older Touch?  And how do I know what generation my Touch is?  I got it in the fall of 2008.  Thanks for your patience with a Mac lover who's not very tech savvy.

    M4A is another name (actually, the file extension) for the AAC audio format.  It is used in iTunes, but frequently has compatibility problems when used outside of Apple-land.
    Does your car player expect MP3 format?  If so you can convert your files by following this guide:  http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1550
    Also, unless you enjoy doing format conversions, you also have the option to buy your music in MP3 format in the first place, from another music download store, e.g. Amazon MP3.
    MP3 can be used in iTunes, iPod, iPhone and just about every other player, program, and device.

    Hello, I am currently running Forms 6i (Patchset 18) on Oracle 10g R2. I have a form which uses a heirarchical tree generated by a SQL. The form takes around 10 seconds to show the tree. And while the tree is being generated the whole window is inacc
