Why can't I log in to my account

Everytime I try to log-in to my Apple account or ITunes, I always get the error that my ID or Password is incorrect. I know it isn't because I wrote that info down. If I choose Forgot Password, I enter my ID, then select Answer questions. When it asks for my birthdate, it ALWAYS says no record.
Apple/ITunes has to be the worst web site in the world. I've never had so much trouble logging-in to anything but those two.
The last time I was able to log-in is when I established a new account and even when I enter that info I cannot log-in.
Someone tell me what I have to do. It's obvious I am entering the correct info otherwise I wouldn't be able to log-in here.

Have you tried going to Settings>iTunes and App Stores (or just Store) and signing out and then signing in again?

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.) No data/files will be erased. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430
This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

Why can't I log into my Adobe account?

Every time I try to log into my Adobe account the little wheel spins and spins. Right now it's been spinning for 10 minutes. The log-in email and password are correct and I get no notice that the user name or password are incorrect. I have to change the password every time I log in. And why do I need to log in to download Camera Raw 8.2 anyway?

That's why I ask users to try other browsers. We want to isolate the problem. That puts your OS, Internet connection and Adobe's web servers in the clear. It also allows you to log in to Adobe until either the problem clears up or until you check FireFox's support forums for best troubleshooting practices.
Firefox has been updated to 24.0 for Mac and Windows today. I don't know if that's done anything, but I'm not having problems logging into Adobe here.
Off hand I can't tell you what's wrong and I don't want to tell you do anything to FireFox if I don't know.

Why can't I log into my iTunes account, Unknown error occurred (-54)

Recently I had my Macbook pro reformatted back to factory conditions. After downloading all the software updates I tried to log into the iTunes store, but everytime I get the message " We could not complete your iTunes Store request. An Unknown error occurred (-54)"
I am able to connect to the iTunes store itself and look around and preview songs. but I can't log in to my account. I have the latest version of iTunes, and I haven't altered any settings in iTunes, so I'm confused as to why I am receiving this error message.
The other discussions and trouble shooting pages referencing the error (-54) seem to all talk about ipod sync issues or not being able to access the store in general. So if anyone has any further insight as to why I'm receiveing it, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

I found the solution to this on another forum. I was able to fix this by manually disabling the firewall on my mac. From the command line:
sudo ipfw disable firewall
Match will then run fine until I do the corresponding enable or restart the computer.
I don't understand enough about the internals of the mac to know why changing this using the Terminal is more effective than simply disabling the firewall from settings, but it is. If you run this command line, it will make the -54 error go away.

I am trying to watch a movie and can't -I have enabled cookies and set Safari as default browser - zilch it sends me to a support page with no speciic info besides 'set cookies' - so I try to log into my iTunes account and the log and pass windo pops up and no matter how many times I try to log in with a password that I just reset the pop-up window pops right back up - it doesn't say I entered it incorrectly it just keeps coming back up

Try this...
Launch iTunes on your computer.
From the iTunes menu bar click iTunes / Preferences then select the Advanced tab.
Click: Reset warnings and Reset cache
Click OK.
Restart your computer, launch iTunes.
From the iTunes menu bar click Store > Sign In

Why can't I log into my Apple account on my iPhone?

I am having trouble logging into the App Store or iTunes on my iPhone 4s. Last week I could update my apps but now I keep getting the message: Can not sign in. Unknown error has occured. What do I need to do on my phone to correct this?

I tried that. I also tried the troubleshooting methods; making sure my Wi-Fi was in range, etc. I still get the constant error, Can Not Sign in to ITunes, and error has occurred. I don't want to reset my whole phone because I have too many contacts and other items that would be lost on my phone.
It was just fine a few days ago but now I keep getting the same error message every time I want to upload an app or update an app.
I think I may have to take it to an Apple Store to talk to one of the techs there because nothing is working.

Of you can set up a gmail account as an Exchange account. I have found that this works better for me for my gmail account. You set up Google Sync which has the added bonus of keeping all your contacts on Google's servers so they are never lost. Lose your phone or get a new one that supports Google Sync and you automatically get your address book back.

There is a limitation on this with the address book though. For some reason you can't create custom telephone or address ID's on Gmail and then have them transfer to your Address book. Most of my contacts have multiple phone lines, my wife for example has two work telephone numbers that I need to keep track of and I am stuck with them both being labled work rathern than being able to identify which is which. This is an annoyance but not big enough for me to take the time to move all of my contacts into the address book on my phone and risk losing them if I were to lose my phone.

Is this an @mac.com or MobileMe name (They are valid AIM Screen Names as well) ?
Have you been asked to changed your Password over the weekend ?
Did you make it longer that 16 characters ?
I take it you seem to have the Internet back ?
Have you tried Quitting iChat and starting again ? (iChat can be a bit like this if the Mac went to Sleep).
Have you tried restarting the Mac ?

Why can't I log into my sidereel account

I've asked for help about this issue a couple of weeks ago already.
I have an account with sidereel. I never had problems and everything was working fine. Suddenly I can't access my account.
I keep coming back in the screen where I need to sign up or login instead of my profile.
In other browsers this works fine. And the error isn't related to sidereel.

I found the answer that works for me. (This information was not on Apple's website for troubleshooting this problem.)
In Safari, (I use Firefox only) cookies must be enabled. I never knew there was a connection between iTunes and Safari until now.

see your capslock and numlock status, if not that problem, check if there is any key stuckin' there(not correctly jump up), and try an alternative web browser, I.E. 7/8/9, google chrome 10.x, to see if it the problem of firefox. if firefox 4 don't help, try firefox 3.6.16.
