Why can't I lookup phone numbers using my iPod Touch?

When I google "Pizza Hut" on my iPod Touch (using Safari), it finds the nearest Pizza Hut to my house, but instead of displaying Pizza Hut's phone number, it display an icon that says "Call". When I press on that icon, nothing happens. Can I get my iPod Touch to show me the phone number instead of prompting me to make a call? I don't have the ability to make calls on my iPod Touch.

Try using another browser like the free Chrome browser.
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Going to Settings>Safari and Clear Cookies, Data and History

Why can't I edit phone numbers in the dialer?

If I find a number on the Internet, it is often (at least in Sweden) typed in with country code and then an optional 0 if you're calling domesically, e.g. +46 (0) 8-402 60 00. This number isn't dialable because of the extra 0 inserted there from misguided benevolence.
My phone is also inside a switchboard and I need to add either a 0 or replace the first 0 with +46 (for a Swedish number) in front of every number to be able to make a call. Unfortunately the only way I can find to edit a phone number in the phone number dialer is to erase them from the last digit. Not very efficient if you want to replace the first digit!
Why can't I edit phone numbers anywhere in the string of numbers as anywhere else in the phone and its apps?
Now I have to copy the number either into a new contact or the notepad, edit and then dial.

IPads and iPod Touches don't seem to have the same media copying restriction that my iPhone has. My main computer is at home. I have music at home and at work and sometimes I like to add it to my iPhone from work. I can do this no problem using my iPad or my iPod touch, but when it comes to my iPhone, I can only copy music to it from my main computer.
Why would the iPhone have this restriction but not the other two devices?
ps. Where's my "add currently playing song to playlist" button? I can't even find a third-party music app with this feature.

I have Itunes 9.0 and when clicking the "search for updates" button, i get the result "You have allready the latest verison installed 2.2.1".
Im interested in the 3.0 version primarily, and are willing to pay the 9.90 USD for the upgrade, bu i caannot find out how to install it.

Why can't I add HD videos to my iPod touch?

So I recently bought an iPod touch, and I haven't had trouble with it until now. I downloaded a free TV show extra thing and it's in HD & SD, and it downloaded fine and everything. But when I tried to add it to my iPod, a popup comes up with the message: "Blah blah blah" was not copied to the iPod "Michaela's iPod" because it cannot be played on this iPod.
Why? I tried to do the "Advanced Settings" and convert it, but the convert option is grayed out and I can't choose it. I thought the iPod touch could play HD (and I do have another HD video on it currently), so why can't I add this new HD/SD video to my iPod? And I know there's enough space because I have 24.6 GB free space.

This has never been a feature of ipod touch. The ipod touch is nto a storage/backup device. It mirrors the selected content of your computer.

If you have an iPod Touch 2, iOS 4.2.1 is the last iOS supported on that device.
You will not be able to add newer iOS apps, but you still can choose from well over 60,000 vintage iOS apps.
The trick is finding them. One way you could try,

I have iOS 2.2 on my iPod Touch first generation and I can't update it. This may indicate a hardware issue with your device. Follow Troubleshooting security software issues, and restore your device on a different known-good computer. If the errors persist on another computer, the device may need service.
The "device may need service" means a hardware problem. In that case make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.
