Why can't I make a photo book on my iPad?

Tried loads of different companies and won't allow me to upload photos, can anyone help or suggest anything?

You can search the App store and maybe there is an app that will support the upload. Also, try contact the sites. Maybe they know a way.

  • Why can't i preview a photo book in iphoto 9?

I am unable to preview a photo book I created in iphoto 9.  I am currently running snow leopard.  I didn't have a problem until I upgraded my OS from tiger to snow leopard and upgraded to Iphoto 9.  Iphoto always crashes on page two when assembling for either a preview or to buy a book.  Is there any way to stop this from happening?  I am beginning to think apple has gotten very sloppy on their "upgrades" as many people are running into various problems every single time the OS changes.

Other's have experienced the same problem and booting into  Safe Mode allowed them to preview the book and order a copy. Why, don't know but if it works for you send a report to Apple via http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphoto.html describing the problem and the workaround.

  • Why can't I make some photos in iOS 8 a favorite?

I recently migrated from an iPhone 5s to a 6, and thus to iOS 8.
I really miss my iPhone camera roll, which contained an odd collection of pics important to me.
Although I can find them scattered through Photos in iOS 8, some of them do not have the "heart" option to add the photo to Favorites. Why?
I've been trying to recreate my old camera roll in Favorites.

sinc eyou give us abasoutely no inforamation except that you have a problem it is impossibel to tell you
What version of iphoto do you have? The general answer to deleting photos in iphoto is to select a photo in an event, press teh delete key and empty the iPhoto trash and teh System trash
However deleting photo is probably not going to resolve a disk space issue - how much free disk space do you have?  Ususlly deleting a few (or even a lot of) photos is not enough to help
you probablly need to get an externaldrive and move your photos and music to it
    to move our photos
Moving the iPhoto library is safe and simple - quit iPhoto and drag the iPhoto library intact as a single entity to the external drive - depress the option key and launch iPhoto using the "select library" option to point to the new location on the external drive - fully test it and then trash the old library on the internal drive (test one more time prior to emptying the trash)
And be sure that the External drive is formatted Mac OS extended (journaled) (iPhoto does not work with drives with other formats) and that it is always available prior to launching iPhoto
And backup soon and often - having your iPhoto library on an external drive is not a backup and if you are using Time Machine you need to check and be sure that TM is backing up your external drive

  • Is there a way to make a photo book with my iPad (new generation )

I have a number (1000's!) of pictures edited on iPhoto.  Is there a way to create a photo book ( not a web book, but one that sit on your table) using the iPad iPhoto app? Can I transfer the edited version of the photos to a Computer that uses Windows?
Any advice / suggestions would be appreciated.
    Janet

If they no longer show up in iCloud (www.icloud.com), unfortunately, no. They are gone.
It is possible, if you have a back up either phone (iCloud or iTunes), they may be there and could be retrieved by restoring using the back up, but I am not 100% sure of that.

  • HT5557 why can't I sync my epub books to my ipad and ibooks

I have several epub books on my pc. when I try to sync them onto my ipad it says syncing but they never show up in ibooks on the ipad

The exact same thing has been happening to me. I've searched all over the Internet for an answer to the problem but nothings  listed. The problem started when I got my new Iphone 5 and started to sync it on my computer  from then on everything just went down hill. Every time I add epub files to itunes and then try to sync it to my ibooks library the files don't show up. I'm using the same method that I always used but nothing seems to work. Sometimes when I try to add a new epub file to my ibooks, ibooks would delete some of my other books. Then it's al whole new struggle to get my old files and the new ones back on ibooks. I really don't know what to do anymore..!!

  • Why can't I download a few books to my iPad? I've got an iTunes account.  I'm out of the country, but I was able to download a free book.

I m out of the country and trying to download a few books to iBooks. I was able to download d a free book, now it tells me to contact iTunes support.

    Did you contact itunes support?
You should not be able to use any country's itunes store from outside of that country.
"The iTunes Service is available to you only in the United States, its territories, and possessions. You agree not to use or attempt to use the iTunes Service from outside these locations. Apple may use technologies to verify your compliance."
    http://www.apple.com/legal/itunes/us/terms.html#SERVICE
It is the same for each country.

  • Why can I no longer add photos my iPhoto book? Is there a limit to the number of photos? Must I delete unused photos??

Why can I no longer add photos my iPhoto book? Is there a limit to the number of photos? Must I delete unused photos?

This is book # 13 and I've not encountered this problem before. I am dragging photos into the sourse pane but they are not imported. I have other books w/ over 700  pics (not all used) but this has only 300+ so far. I've copied the book to a pdf and it looks as if I'll have to redo it unless there's another solution.

Yesterday I searched the apple discussion Unix db trying to find similar questions and found someone wanting to surf the web and do email with Unix from a few years ago and there were some recommends for "lynx" or "W3M"--the "lynx" website was unresponsive to clicking on links.  This was from a couple of years ago--are there any updates or newer browsers now available that can get around the web at current speeds?
Any other options to get fairly current browsers working in ppc units?  In one of the replies to my last question I got a recommend and a link to "Ten4Fox" as a re-work of Firefox and that may be my best hope, but, haven't been totally crazy about Firefox for the mac . . .  Would UNIX have something thru fink or macports that would keep a browser going into the distant future?  And, then how to get them to actually do something?  Many thanks.

No other insights from the Unix guys?  Nothing out there in Unix-land to keep a current browser on a ppc computer?  Traditionally on this forum there has always been someone who could offer some relevant advice, no?  Not this time I suppose . . . well, if I find something I'll post back to this question.  Later dudes.

  • Why can't I place the photos in my photo book

Why can't I place a photo on my photo book

Because stuff is happening. Or not.
And with that amount of info, that's the best anyone can do.
Before anyone can help, they need information to work with. Basic stuff:
    - What version of iPhoto.
    - What version of the Operating System.
    - Details. What were you doing when the problem arose?
    - Did it ever work properly?
    - Are there error messages?
    - What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.
Anything else you can think of that might allow someone else to understand your issue.
With this kind of information somebody can develop a starting point for troubleshooting the issue.

  • Why can't I open I Photo??

    Why can't I open I Photo??

Try these in order - from best option on down...
    1. Do you have an up-to-date back up? If so, try copy the library6.iphoto file from the back up to the iPhoto Library (Right Click -> Show Package Contents) allowing it to overwrite the damaged file.
    2. Download <a href="http://www.fatcatsoftware.com/iplm/"><b><u>iPhoto Library Manager</b></u></a> and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.
    3. If neither of these work then you'll need to create and populate a new library.
To create and populate a new *iPhoto 08* library:
Note this will give you a working library with the same Events and pictures as before, however, you will lose your albums, keywords, modified versions, books, calendars etc.
In the iPhoto Preferences -> Events Uncheck the box at 'Imported Items from the Finder'
Move the iPhoto Library to the desktop
Launch iPhoto. It will ask if you wish to create a new Library. Say Yes.
Go into the iPhoto Library (Right Click -> Show Package Contents) on your desktop and find the Originals folder. From the Originals folder drag the individual Event Folders to the iPhoto Window and it will recreate them in the new library.
When you're sure all is well you can delete the iPhoto Library on your desktop.
In the future, in addition to your usual back up routine, you might like to make a copy of the library6.iPhoto file whenever you have made changes to the library as protection against database corruption.

  • Why can't I make a photobook with IPhoto 09 anymore

I cannot make a photo book anymore
    HELP?

Remember: we cannot see your machine. There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on 8 different versions of the Operating System. The tricks and tips for dealing with issues vary depending on the version of iPhoto and the version of the OS.  So to get help you need to give as much information as you can. Basic things like :
    - What version of iPhoto.
    - What version of the Operating System.
    - Details. As full a description of the problem as you can. For instance: 'iPhoto won't export' is best explained by describing how you are trying to export, and so on.
    - History: Is this going on long? Has anything been installed or deleted?
    - Are there error messages?
    - What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.
    - Anything unusual about your set up? Or how you use iPhoto?
Anything else you can think of that might help someone understand the problem you have.
Posts that consist of "iPhoto doesn't work. Help" or "iPhoto won't print" or "Suddenly I have no photos!!!!!!!!!!" mean that any helper is simply guessing. More information means you get better assistance.

  • How do I make a photo book with low grade pics from iphones?

    Hello,
Can Anyone give me some help I am trying to make a photo book with low grade photos from iphones.
    Thank you!

    What exactly is your question?
If you have low resolution photos then they will have to be printed smaller and the quality not be as good as if you had better photos - there is no way to make a poor photo better
And in general iPhone photos are not low resolution - what are the pixel dimensions of the photos? What size photos are you trying to print?
