Why Can't I Make Calls Any More?

HI,
I renewed my subscription last week but when I now go to make a call, it asks if I want to pay as you go or get another subscription.  My account says that I have 400 minutes left.
Can someone please advise what I need to do to be able to make calls from my subscription again?

I didn't find any call attempts on your account, could you please:
* Make sure you have latest Skype from: http://www.skype.com/go/downloading
* Log in with the exact same account
* Place a free test call first to Skype users
If after that you are still not able to make calls to covered destinations then please contact customer service: https://support.skype.com/en/faq/FA1170/How-can-I-contact-Skype-Customer-Service

    Technical informations:
    PC with Windows 7 64-bit, Lightroom 5.7.1 64-bit installed.
    What I have done:
    I downloaded the newest LR 5.71 and installed it again - mode repair; without success
    I checked my PC with Norton 360: full scanning and optimizing registry
    I restarted the PC and than I installed the LR 5.7 again - repair
    Trouble 1:
    Two days ago I could work with my LR 5 and to import pictures from a SD was no problem. Now I can start LR 5 and I can watch/modify pictures, but as soon as I try to import new pictures LR 5 stops and gives the message "your LR 5 64-bit does not work correctly - searching for solution". I have not changed anything in my computer since lasttime LR 5 worked properly, only the registry was optimized by Norton 360.
    Trouble 2:
    I live in Switzerland and my language ist German. I dit not find a place where I can present my problem in German, e.g. a phone number oder email-address oder german-chat. My English is to week for a discussion for computer problems and do understand it.
    Help:
    I would very appreciate if anybody can help me, either to trouble 1 or to trouble 2. Thanks.

    With the new update I cannot click on the top label and organize/sort the order of the songs or artist or genre any more?  Why not?

    If you changed the password, then go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Accounts and the account name > Outgoing Mail Server and tap the name > Primary Server > Passwrod and delete the password and re-enter it.

    First, if you have not already, I would restart the iPhone then try again.
    Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider.
    After the device has turned off, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.

    This is driving me crazy. With a defined HTMLEditorKit.ParserCallback object "callback", I am attempting to parse an HTML document retrieved from a URL by using:
    new ParserDelegator().parse(new InputStreamReader(url.openStream( )), callback, true);
    It doesn't work if I initiate the call in any way from within the run method of a Thread subclass (the way I'd like to do it). If I make the call in the constructor of the Thread subclass, however, it runs fine. I know it must have something to do with the fact that parse runs in a Thread of it's own - but the way to fix it isn't apparent to me.
    I would appreciate some words from people who might know what's happening here... THANKS in advance.

  • OPINION WANTED: Why can't Sun make the setBounds more meaningful?

    Hi,
    I am wondering why Sun doesn't add some brains to the setBounds method. I bring this up because of my current situation.
    I have two panels, A & B. A is added to B, and A can be dragged around "on top" of B. But I can not allow the user to drag A out of the bounds of B. so I have to do all this checking to make sure it doesn't happen. It would be much simpler if the A panel could know what the size of its "playground" is.
    Doing something like this would be nice,
    A.setPlayground(B.getBounds());then as A is dragged around, it knows what its "playground" is and knows that its own bounds cannot not leave the "playground". But currently, there is no such implementation, so I would basically have to create my own JPanel class, and include this functionality...which I wish Sun would implement.
    Anyone else think this is a good idea or worth while to do? Whats your opinion?

    Ok, that is basically doing the same as rect.contains(rect) .....and instead of creating new rectangles i could just do this:
    if (rectangleA.contains(panelB.getBounds())) ...However, a problem still occurs that a user could drag the panel quickly, and its location gets set so that it is no longer "contained" in rectangleA.
    if rectangleA's bounds are [0, 0, 200, 200] the panelB's bounds could get set so that its bounds are [200,y,w,h] ....so u can see the x value is at the max of rectangleA's bounds....so when i try to do rectangleA.contains(panelB.getBounds()) it fails....so to fix this I have to do this:

                                           (panelB.getMinY() < 0) ||
                                                 (panelB.getMaxX() > rectangleA.getMaxX()) ||
                                                 (panelB.getMaxY() > rectangleA.getMaxY())) {

  • Why can I only make calls when using speakrphone?

    I can only make phone calls when using the speaker phone or headphones.  The receiver can hear me although I can not hear them.  I have only had the phone since Sat, have checked volume levels and tried adjusting during a phone call too.

    Try making a call and turning the volume up using the buttons on the side of the phone. If that doesn't work, your iPhone is faulty. Take it to the nearest apple store or back where you bought it!

  • Why can't I open .pdfs any more?

    All at once I can no longer open pdf files through emails after saving them to my pc. Using Vista and Reader XI.  I can open them fine on my android phone. 
    I read something somewhere about trouble with Adobe AIR.  I don't use it but did download it a few days ago.  I had trouble a few days ago not being able to open the .pdfs.  Then they all opened. Now a day or so later, again I can't open them.  Now I find I can not open new .jpgs either.
    This is what I'm seeing
    Adobe Reader can not open (attachment) .pdf because it is either not a supported file type or be4cause the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded).  I sent the email with the pdf attachments to several others on their own computers and they didn't have a problem opening them up.
    I tried to open them through Adobe photoshop.  It said 'Not a valid portable document file'
    This is the first time I have used this forum.  At one point it told me that I wasn't allowed.  That I would  have to speak with my administrator.  I am the administrator.  I am the only one who uses this computer.

    'no I'm not able to open the new .pdfs with notepad or any new default program.  It says 'File Does Not have a program associated with it for performing this action.  Crate an association in Set Associations Control Panel.'
    However, I am able to open older .pdfs and sometimes new .pdfs from the same sender I am now having problems with.  I generally only received .pdfs from this one sender.  Can it be that she is saving them wrong?  She says she isn't doing anything differently, but not long before all this started she said her pc crashed.

    I purchased my iphone 4s at an EE store in january. Everything was going fine for the first few weeks. When we had the storms and floods everyone i know who has a phone on EE or Orange phone went down but mine didnt. Now i ring someone it fails without even attempting to ring. Also my messages dont send. Ive been in to the shop a number of times. Ive been told that the local mast for my area is down, but after phoning orange i found out this wasnt true. I was also told that i needed to update all my settings but that still didnt do the trick. I was then told to change my sim card as it could have been a fault with that. Tried that and still no luck. Anyone able to help or should i just take it to my local apple store?

    Could you make a call while you were insidethe EE store ?   If you could - then maybe there is a problem in your home area.  If you couldn't - then hand the phone to a member of staff and ask them to try it.  If it still fails - get a replacement phone.

  • Why can't I rip CDs any more in Mavericks?

    I am having a weird issue since upgrading to Mavericks -- I can't rip CDs.  I am guessing the option is still there, but I can never see.  Whenever I insert a CD in, my Mac will recognize it, but iTunes locks up.  I've tried restarting my computer as well as rebooting the drive (it's external, as I'm an optical-less retina MBP) and changing CDs.
    iTunes *seems* to be the problem, as the drive is working and the Mac is recognizing the discs when I insert them. iTunes is locking up.  I am not sure if this is a Mavericks issue.  This is the first time I've tried ripping a CD since upgrading.
    Any help? Troubleshooting tips?

    I think it might be that you created this card using iMessages or something, that tends to not allow me to create a contact picture...
    Otherwise what you can do is create a new contact and add the emails in using that application, for an example using iMessages, you can click add to existing contact... That worked for me...

    Why has this just started today. (Note ....a few times in the past this has hapened...often on upgrades to OS)
    AHave Apple changed something that has screwed Mail up again?
    Also...why is there not a Mail category in these forums...you have to ask via the OS category...especialy since Mail is often the most problematic Apple Application
