Why can't I minimize iTunes 9 into the little player?

I just updated to iTunes 9 and when I hit the green minimize button it no longer minimizes to the little compact player like the older versions did.
Did they do away with this feature or something?
If so, bummer.

Is this an order? .. if so, I wish I could comply. I have just posted thie following to another part of this forum:
"I am sure that many users will welcome the fact that the change to the minimise function is in keeping with Apple's Human Interface Guidelines. However, since these guidelines state that one aim is that "Users with special needs will find your product more accessible" then I have to disagree that the changes to iTunes 9 match this standard. I am a physically disabled user and employ a switch control instead of mouse & keys. Something that may appear so insignificant to able-bodied users as a change to the way in which the player is minimised has made the application more difficult for users like myself to use. Instead of clicking on one button, I now have to either click on a drop down menu, scroll down to a command OR I can hold down three keys (!!) OR I can hold down one key (in my case with a switch-controlled 'sticky key' whilst at the same time using the switch to click on the button that in previous version I had programmed to switch me to the mini-player. Making the product "more accessible" I think not. Come on Apple I love your computers and have done since I was a student, but if something aint broken - why the need to fix' it?"

Why Can't I Get Back Into The App Store Via My iPhone4?

I just activated my iPhone 4 (Verizon) today and was downloading free apps w/o problem until a few hours ago when I could no longer gain access to the App Store.
When I click on the App Store it just gives me a "loading" message but nothing comes up.
Have Net access via wireless and 3g. Can do searches w/Safari and can get into the iTunes store, but not the App Store.
Is the App Store "down" or is there something I can do to "fix" this problem?

Update: Well, it looks like I have more problems than just the App Store. Now, I can't bring up the Settings page (it's blank). Phone still works but other functions like Maps and Weather also come up blank.
Any way to reset w/o the Settings page? Help!

Why can't i convert itunes into an mp3 format?

I looked on Apple's website for information on how to convert itunes into a mp3 format on your windows pc. I followed each step. I clicked on Edit and Preferences and set it to Mp3 converter. I then selected the songs I wanted to convert into. Then I clicked Advanced. When I clicked Advanced, it showed "Create Mp3 Version" but it was grayed out. And i was unable to click it. I do not know if I did something wrong or..? Please help me out with this situation because I really want to convert it to an Mp3 format to post it on a website. Thanks.

It doesn't work if you simply open it in a browser tab. When you download it and open in an Adobe window you will be able to click on it and type your information in the spaces provided.

I've seen some weird (temporary) cases, for example when ctrl+v suddenly did not work, but "right-click..paste" was still working. Also, when I was pasting the comment here, notice that the last line containing the date (i.e. the line containing May 27, 2011) moved to the top of the quote, while it was at the botton in the original location (probably soem extra html got dragged along, I have not investigated).
(This was in Chrome.)

Sorry if I am saying something obvious, but do you have a project timeline open?
I suggest you look at a good video tutorial to help you get started with FCP X.

Why can't reminders being imported into the calendar

On iOS 5 you could create events in the calendar to be reminded of such, but with iOS6 that feature was replaced by reminders app and you couldn't create events in the calendar anymore. The problem is that you can't do searches in the past with the reminder app unless you choose completed and with calendar app, one glance and you see all dates and appintement in a calendar format which is easier to read... with iOS7 we can create event in the calendar again but what about all the reminders now written in the reminder app while using iOS6?....they can't be transfered.... simple solution, get rid of the reminders and keep the calendar only or at the very least, offer the possibility to merge reminders and calendar together...
that is for both my iPad2 and iPhone5..

I've done this several times, restarted the iPhone and my computer, but I can't get ready to sync... The phone is working ok and my backup data is restored into the phone.

I tried Notpod but can't get it to work. Part of the problem, I suspect, is that I can't create a folder on my player (a SanDisk Clip+). I also can't do this in Windows Explorer. Whilst I can see the Clip+ in Explorer, the option to create a new folder isn't there.
The error mesag I get in Notpod is:
"Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit the application will close immediately.
InvalidArgument=Value of '0' is not valid for 'SelctedIndex'. Parameter name: SelectedIndex"
Then, when I plug the Clip+ into a USB port, iTunes thinks it is my iPad - which is because, I guess, Notpod hasn't worked.
I can drag and drop files from the Music folder where my iTunes tracks are stored onto the Clip+ and they get converted but I'd rather synchronise a Playlist from iTunes if I can.

Im just guessing but it seems like you would have to get your movie into the correct folder on a computer then use iTunes to sync it to your iPad. If you've synced to a computer and have movies then on your computer should be a folder with the movie in it. You could export your iMovie to something like Dropbox then download from Dropbox to the folder you think it needs to be in the sync your iPad again. Again this is just a guess. Others may have a better answer.

How can I get pdf files to minimize up into the upper left corner of my Windows 8.1 Pro screen?

I have both a laptop and a desktop running Windows 8.1 Pro. When I open a pdf file on my laptop, and I click on the adobe reader icon in my taskbar at the bottom of the screen, the pdf doc is minimized up into the left hand corner of the screen where I can then right mouse click and insert the pdf file left or right of any other document I pull up onto my screen, i.e. I can create side by side windows of the two documents. But if I try the same thing on my desktop and then click on the adobe reader icon, it will not minimize up into the left hand corner. Does anyone now I can get my desktop to do what my laptop is doing since they are running the same OS?

This can be a bug on Mac.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
* https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Safe+Mode
If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
* Use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions.
* Close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")

Why can't I copy and paste the music from my iPhone on iTunes 11 to a folder in my Music Library? I want to have a copy of the music on iTunes so when I update to a newer version of iOS I don't lose my music. And no I didn't buy this music off iTunes and neither will I use iTunes Match.

There has never been a function to copy anything from an iPhone and paste it to a computer.
All of your media should be in iTunes already.
If it is not and was purchased from iTunes, right click on the device and select Transfer Purchases.
If the media is not in iTunes and was not purchased from iTunes, how did you get it on the device in the first place?

iPad: RAM - 256MB, Processor - 1 GHz Apple A4
iPad 2: RAM - 512MB, Processor - 1GHz dual-core Apple A5
iPad 3: RAM 1024MB, Processor - 1GHz dual-core Apple A5X
Similarily, the iPad 2 did not get Siri and some other features in iOS 6.
