Why can't i access my app store on my ipod 4th generation? I click on it and it won't let me access my app, itunes, or any app like social media apps with internet, but I can still access my games that have internet. It confuses me and i dont know what to? I found it didnt work because i wanted to get a game one day that i saw people playing thought it was cool, and wanted to get it. It didnt work and said cannot connect to iTunes store. So i thought i was because i was at school and my school has a filter and it has been blocking alot since its really close to the end of the year, but when i went home and tried to get into it. Quit all apps: Double tap the Home button, hold an app icon until it wiggles, tap for each open app, double tap the Home button again
then
Reset: Hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons and don’t let go until the screen goes dark and the Apple logo appears (no data will be lost) -

Go to settings, then scroll down to appstore and itunes store. Then tap id and sign out. Next, sign in again.
Or restart the device by holding power button until red slider appears. Slide it. After the iphone turns off. Hold the power button to turn it backon. Then try the solution above. -

Just purchased OS X Mountain Lion but in order to down load I have to have the App Store App on my Mac. Please help.10.6.6 was the 1st to support the App Store, 10.6.8 is actually needed now as a minimum.
Install it & update to 10.6.8 so you have the App Store to buy & download the huge 10.8 Installer.(10.9/Mavericks is the only download available now without specially calling Apple).

Why can't I open the apple store on my iPhone
First let me say this is a phone I got sent from Apple.
The issue I have is when using my extension cable once fully charged my phone says charging is not supported with this accessory.
Next issue I have is I can't log into the App Store on my phone. I click sign in put in my apple id and it does not show me as logged in.
Last issue I have is I have deleted and installed the Apple Store App and it tells me goto settings and use iTunes & App Store menu.
Oh and when I update my apps on the phone I still have to click the update apps when I connect phone to iTunes.
Any help trying to fix these issues would be greatly appreciated.Well then it is somewhere on one of your Home pages or in a Folder:
Do a spotlight search to see if it accidently got moved into a Folder: Swipe down in the center of the screen to bring up the Spotlight search and type in iTunes. If it is in a folder, the folder name will show up to the right.
If it is not in a folder, but shows up on the Spotlight search, then you need to look at each Home screen to see if you can find where it got moved to.
Finally, you can go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout, which will reorganize all of your icons so that the original Apple core apps are on the first Home screen as they were originally. Of course, if you have a lot of app icons that you have set up on specific Home screens you would have to move them all back to where you wanted them. But that should put the iTunes icon back on the first Home screen.

Reset the device:
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
You will have to re enter your Wi-Fi password. -

Hi I just bought an IPAD4 days ago, however I found I can not use the App store. Every time I click App store, it shows the blank page of the 'purchased', and all the other icons on this page did not work. Please let me know what I should do. Thanks.

Applecare Senior Advisor Txx Bxxx (I have his contact info in an email he just sent) just confirmed with me that the problem people are having with the App Store not loading is an apple issue with there servers, ITS NOT YOUR IPAD so don't go restoring it! It's not happening to everyone however but they are looking into it, its really hit or miss.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
