Why can't I open my iphoto when trying to email or useing wetransfer?

When I try to attach a photo through email (not using the app) or use WeTransfer for larger documents I cannot open iphoto like I used to. I recently updated my mac software to the newest one and then had to update iphoto to be compatable . The regular app works just like it used to but when I try to attach like i mentioned before it's just blank. None of my photo's or albums come up.

If you're referring to accessing the original image files via the Finder inside the library package that went out with iPhoto 7 (08). The library is not a package and access to the photos for use outside of iPhoto is thru iPhoto. So you get the log-in screen for Hotmail but it won't complete the log-in? I also take it from your posts that there is no error message that appears to give any indication of the nature of a problem, it just doesn't complete the log in? That sounds like it could be an issue with your Hotmail account. Have you tried logging onto your Hotmail account from another computer, say a computer from work? If not, then the first thing to do is try logging in from another computer. If you don't have one anywhere else, go to a public library and use one of theirs and try logging into your Hotmail.
There is no reason why you would be blocked from Hotmail/Live, Google pages and such while other pages (such as this) are accessible unless one of a few things are happening:
1) You don't have access to those pages because of account lock-out (that's why you need to check your ability to access Hotmail from another computer -- to verify that this is not the case).
2) Something is actively blocking access to those pages. This could be one of a few things:
     a) ISP settings, which you seem to have eliminated when you indicate that you tried accessing Hotmail from another location than your default location, if in fact that other is connected through a different ISP, although in actual fact you did not indicate that you verified that the other access point you tried was actually connecting via another ISP.
     b) Router settings, which you did pretty much eliminate when you tried accessing Hotmail from another location than your default location.
     c) Software blocking. This could include the following:
          * Add-ins: You seem to have eliminated the likely hood of this when you indicate that you've tried multiple browsers.
          * Security software: Family blocking/URL blocking software would cause similar issues across all browsers. If you had installed anything of this nature, this would be a suspicion.
There is one red flag I see amongst all this. You indicate that you have a Macbook Pro running OS X 10.6.7 with membership in these forums showing a start date of March this year, your posts suggest that you recently purchased a Mac, and that your prior posts have disappeared (son't know how far back you were meaning, although I do see one from 3 days ago posted in the Windows section). My question has to do with something you wrote earlier in this thread: "I've tried Firefox, Safari, Opera and Explorer". Uh, would that be Microsoft Internet Explorer? How do you have that installed?

When I connect my iPhone to my Mac Mini the Mini opens automatically to iPhoto and just sits with the wheel spinning. I have to force quit to exit. My mini is set to automatically open in Itunes when conncected to an iPhone. Not happening. Any thoughts?

iPhoto SHOULD open if you have photos in the Camera Roll, just like it would with any digital camera.

Why can't I open my iPhoto library on my Mac from my Macbook?

I'm trying to open my Iphoto library on my Mac Mini. It's on a Thunderbolt drive on the Mini. It's formatted Mac OS Extended (Journaled). Iphoto is obviously closed on the Mini. When I try to open the libary from my Macbook Pro, I get the error "Unable to write to library Iphoto Library. Check that you have permission to write to the library directory.
I believe I do have permission - on the drive permissions are for everyone and me read/write.
Any ideas? I'd love to be able to open it from 2 macs...

Error when trying to email report using Analyzer for Excel template

I have a report for which I have created both "RTF" and "Analyzer for Excel" based templates. I can email the report using the RTF template, but when I try to email it using the A4E template (using the 'Send' button from the report screen), it never arrives. If I schedule the report to be emailed, it fails, and I get the following error information:

Is this qury is running fine in SQL?? Have you checked this query in Sql server(Management studio) whether working or not??.
I feel there is some mismatch with relations in query.. Cross check your query once in SQL itself. once it is running well, we will take a look.

Open iPhoto and all your photos will appear, if you are looking for the folder of iPhoto is on the sidebar of a finder window called "Pictures" and there's a file called "iPhoto Library", press control and click on the file and choose "show package contents" and look for the photos...

Why can't i open my raw files in photoshop cc i use a canon 450D

I am a photography student and this has been winding me up now for about a month. the thing is its used to open my raw files with no bother and now it won't, I've downloaded plug ins and everything and its still not letting me open my raw files. does anyone know how to fix this because I'm in the middle of my graded unit and i can't meet the deadline with my photoshop like this

The version error messages are really screwed up and out of sync with the new naming (CC) system. CS8.1 would be CC2014 version 10.1

I am with Peter on this issue. Additionally, if you installed the latest IOS Pages (v2.01) on an iPhone or iPad and opened a .pages file on iCloud that was created by Pages ’09 v4.n, or IOS Pages v1.7.n — that document is now in the new .pages file format and only Pages v5 on OS X can open it.

For your addressbook, export the files to vCard on the PowerMac, then bring them over to your Mac Pro. For your iPhoto, copy the Users -> yourname -> Pictures folder to your Desktop on the Mac Pro, and open iPhoto on the Mac Pro holding the command and option keys. Select the library file from that Pictures folder and open it. It should import all the pictures into iPhoto as part of the rebuild process.
