Why can't i put videos on my Ipod video?

i put it into itunes and then plug in my ipod. My ipod says "updating" and everything but the video doesn't appear on my ipod, only in the itunes library. What am i doing wrong. btw im on a pc with a 30GB ipod (not like THAT means anything) can anyone give me a detailed description of how to convert the video?

I had the same problem today. My videos are MPEG-4, but still wouldn't sync to my iPod. Here's how I solved it - I did a "Get Info" on each video in iTunes, then under "Options", I changed the "Video Kind" to "Movie". I had originally set "Video Kind" to "TV Show", and apparently iTunes didn't like that. Once I made that change, my Flintstones and Road Runner cartoons copied to my iPod just fine.

I have the current generation of iPod classic and I want to put the Godfather trilogy that I have recently purchased from the itunes store onto the ipod, but everytime I do it tells me that I am not authorized to play them on this computer. I have deauthorized and reauthorized this computer with the account that I used to purchase the movies and still it will not let me put them on my classic. The files are fine because I can watch them on my computer without difficulties. I just don't understand why they wouldn't be compatible on the ipod classic if I purchased them from the iTunes Store with the same apple ID that is used across all my devices, which are all authorized to play my iTunes media. I mean the error that comes up is saying that my computer is not authorized to play them, even though I just watched one of them yesterday.
So confusing...

Why can't Apple put 3G on a iPod touch?

Apple Inc. should put 3G on a iPod touch its similar to the iPad but smaller. Teenagers and kids always try to use the Safari but can't cause they don't got Wi-fi connected and when there on the road or on a trip they would love to have 3G on there iPod touch and they wouldn't be bored.

You're saying then, they they have no Apps (games) on their iPod already that will stave off the boredom.
Perhaps they need to get the right Apps before the trip. iBooks, games, note takers, - the list goes on. Oh, and presuambly the music on their iPods is boring too.

iBooks require iOS 4, surely? So you wouldn't be able to install it on an iPod Touch using iOS 3.1.3 as your signature says you are.
However, if you do have a suitable App on your iPod, you should be able to import the pdfs, I do. Although I use iBooks.
I put the pdf into the books folder (that's in my iTunes media folder) and then drag the file into iTunes where it should be listed in books. After a Sync, the pdf is in the iBooks app on my iPod. However, once again..., to actually find the pdf in iBooks look at the top bar of iBooks and notice the buttons named "edit" on the left, "store" on the right and the other one in the middle. Does the middle one say BOOKS or PDFs? If it says BOOKS, tap it and then select PDFs from that list.
Other Apps may be similar, in that they keep the list of PDFs separate from the list of books.

We need to know the exact source of the file and what system you're on. Could simply be an unresolvable compatibility issue/ unsupported format.

I get so tired of having my iphone shut down on me mid-conversation. My screen is black and up to my ear; my phone is in my purse while I'm talking on my blue tooth and also has a black screen; or my phone is on my hip with a black screen while I talk with my earphones. How in the heck I am going to READ a low batter indicator on my phone behind a black screen? That information would be very helpful if I weren't on my blue tooth. Actually, that 2% low battery notification would very helpful to me if my phone weren't up to my ear with a black screen. Why can't they put a simple audible low battery indicator on the phone?

Why can I not put a picture from my camera roll into an album now? When I try these are greyed out. I created these albums on my ipad too but ever since I updated to IOS 7 this can't be done, it was so easy before.

I can now answer my own question as I've worked it out. For those who are interested click on Shared Streams then on album you require photo to be in then click on the empty box with a cross in the centre and choose photo you wish to add.

You must have an IMAP email accounts in order to create additional folders in the mail app on the iPad. There is now way to create folders locally like you can on a computer if you are using a POP email account.
If you go to your email account in the Mail app and look at the window where your inbox, trash folder and sent folder are - if there is an Edit button at the top of the window - tap that and then tap Add Mailbox at the bottom.
If the Edit button is not there - you cannot create folders on the iPad. Your email account is not IMAP. Only IMAP email accounts can create folders on the iPad. Any folders that you would already have in an IMAP account would sync to the device as well.

That's it. That is my question. Why can't I put more photos on my ipad from whatever computer I feel like it without having to delete the photos on there? It is incredibly frustrating.

Another way. You can use a USB flash drive & the camera connection kit.
Plug the USB flash drive (works the same with an SD card) into your computer & create a new folder titled DCIM. Then put your movie/photo files into the folder. The files must have a filename with exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus the file extension (i.e., my-movie.mov; DSCN0164.jpg).
Now plug the flash drive into the iPad using the camera connection kit. Open the Photos app, the movie/photo files should appear & you can import. (You can not export using the camera connection kit.)

If you are watching Youtube in the Safari app, then I would suggest these troubleshooting steps from our iPhone Troubleshooting Assistant found here: http://www.apple.com/support/iphone/assistant/phone/. If you get to step 3, close all the apps that are running and try again. Here is step 1 to get you started:
Restart iPhone
To restart iPhone, first turn iPhone off by pressing and holding the Sleep/Wake button until a red slider appears. Slide your finger across the slider and iPhone will turn off after a few moments.
Next, turn iPhone on by pressing and holding the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Is iPhone not responding? To reset iPhone, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least 10 seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If your device does not turn on or displays a red battery icon, try recharging next.

Why can't I email videos taken with my iphone 4 from my Mac? It says the video is to big or long but the particular one I am trying to send is only 1 min 16 sec long. I don't remember having this problem with my 3gs. I am trying to email them with my yahoo act, and I see this very same question was asked July of 2010, but their are no replies.      The iPad and iPad 2 support the same video types. You cannot open a .mov file via e-mail to the best of my knowledge (on iPad). Only YouTube videos and app specific videos* can be opened via e-mail on the iPad.

     If both of you use a social network such as Facebook she could upload the videos and can post them on your wall.
