Why can't I receive pictures in txt msgs?
I have an LG VX5600 and my wife has an LG VS700 - we both have texting plans and she has the data plan for her phone. For a long time we were told we could not recieve pictures because we didn't have camera phones - I never understood that because my old carrier used to send them through on my old Nokia. So we finally upgraded to these phones that of course, have cameras, but we still are getting msgs that the pictures have been removed -- and they don't sow up in my gallery on the verizon site either. Does anyone have any idea why this might be. I've gon through 3 customer service reps without any answer and I have sent e-mails to the support people and I not gotten a reply. I need some help.
I can send msgs just fine, both text and pics. after I sent the e-mail I
was able to send a pic to both phones from mypics (?) {my verizon picture
gallery on line) from my laptop - but I can't send mobile to mobile or rec.
mobile to mobile pics on our phones -- My father can receive the ones I
send on his ATT phone - so sending is apparently not the issue.

I have a droid 4 and a few months of having the phone i wasn't able to receive ANY picture messages, i'm still not its very irritating. I'm on my second replacement and nothing works. Does this say they Arrived ?
If it shows an spyglass icon does this open them or at least show where they are on your computer ?
It should place them in ~/Library/Messages/Attachments in strangely titled folder and sub folders.
However it Write to this folder via ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.iChat/Data/Library/Messages and then an Alias to the attachments folder.
You should check you have permissions to Write to the Actual Attachments folder and all the possible routes to that folder.

I can only see the pictures I send but can not see the pictures my contacts send on my tablet.
Nexus7, seeing it is believing it! Are you using a 3rd party text messaging application on your device? Are you connected to Wi-Fi on your tablet? Please provide more details to that we can troubleshoot this matter with you.

Why can i not receive picture texts from my contacts
Ever since my phone upgraded to the new system, I cannot receive any picture texts from my friends. my text messages indicate I have a new message (friends name and no subject) and when I click on it, it brings up a new text message for me to send. I know they are pictures because I ask my friends if they had sent me something. I use this feature a lot and it gets annoying to have my friends email it to me instead of texting it, not all my friends have smart phones and cannot email me the pictures all the time. Can someone please help?

Is your mobile data turned on? And if you long press on the picture in the text can you save attachment? If you can do that try viewing them in your gallery. -

Why can't I receive group text messages? I can send group messages and receive a response and texting to individuals works also. My carrier is AT&T

Group messages are considered MMS, not SMS. MMS is transmitted over the cellular (data) network. It does NOT use your data plan, it uses your texting allowance. But data DOES need to be enabled to send and receive group and picture texts. -
Why can't I delete pictures off of camera roll? I also can't send Pictures to someone else's phone. My picture seems to freeze up and I can't do anything, particularly delete the picture. I'm new to iPhone so I'm really just learning how this iphone thing works :)
Did you recently start using iCloud to backup your photos?
Wife had the same problem today. Remembering that I had recently signed her up for more space on iCloud and started backing up her photos, I decided to roll the dice and turn that off. Plug phone back into computer and *boom* I now have the option to delete. Now I just have to figure out how I can do both = \ -
why can I not open pictures when I click on the host icon on my desktop? It just sits there, and can not open from top menu bar as well, only via itunes

Technical informations:
PC with Windows 7 64-bit, Lightroom 5.7.1 64-bit installed.
What I have done:
I downloaded the newest LR 5.71 and installed it again - mode repair; without success
I checked my PC with Norton 360: full scanning and optimizing registry
I restarted the PC and than I installed the LR 5.7 again - repair
Trouble 1:
Two days ago I could work with my LR 5 and to import pictures from a SD was no problem. Now I can start LR 5 and I can watch/modify pictures, but as soon as I try to import new pictures LR 5 stops and gives the message "your LR 5 64-bit does not work correctly - searching for solution". I have not changed anything in my computer since lasttime LR 5 worked properly, only the registry was optimized by Norton 360.
Trouble 2:
I live in Switzerland and my language ist German. I dit not find a place where I can present my problem in German, e.g. a phone number oder email-address oder german-chat. My English is to week for a discussion for computer problems and do understand it.
Help:

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

Why can I not load pictures from a micro SD 64gb using scan disk adapter plugged into an Apple iPad camera connection kit. I have the iPhoto app but pictures not being seen on iPad. So incredibly frustrating. Apple please fix this.
Do you have a smaller capacity micro SD card to try? I seem to remember from past posts that users were having problems with cards larger than 32GB, however, Apple's page doesn't mention this.

Why is Gmail so slow to load in standard view, when all other websites load fine?
