Why can't I save automatic logins

i always check the log me in automaticly box on sites i visit often. including on facebook. and yet somehow my browser keeps losing this setting. is there anything i can do to fix this?
i really like firefox and don't want to switch browsers but i need something that works right

Websites remembering you and automatically log you in is stored in a cookie.
* Create an allow cookie exception (Edit > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies: Exceptions) to keep such a cookie, especially for secure websites and if cookies expire when Firefox is closed.
* In [[Private Browsing]] mode all cookies are session cookies that expire if that session is ended, so websites won't remember you.
* Do not use [[Clear Recent History]] to clear the "Cookies" and the "Site Preferences"
Clearing "Site Preferences" clears all exceptions for cookies, images, pop-up windows, software installation, and passwords.

You'll be prompted for your login password, which won't be displayed when you type it. Type carefully and then press return. You may get a one-time warning to be careful. If you see a message that your username "is not in the sudoers file," then you're not logged in as an administrator.
The command may take several minutes to run, depending on how many files you have. Wait for a new line ending in a dollar sign ($) to appear, then quit Terminal.
Step 2 (optional)
Take this step only if you have trouble with Step 1, if you prefer not to take it, or if it doesn't solve the problem.
Start up in Recovery mode. When the OS X Utilities screen appears, select
Utilities ▹ Terminal
from the menu bar. A Terminal window will open. In that window, type this:

Press return. A Reset Password window will open. You’re not going to reset a password.

Well, FF used to do this just fine. And since I have a password on my user account to log-in, why do I need this on my browser.
Updates are great and all, but not when they take away behavior we once had WITHOUT an option to keep it the way it was.
Programmers/Designers should STOP making decisions for us.

Confirm or change the photos you want to share by tapping an option.
Select all the photos in an album or event: Tap All.
Select a range of photos: Tap Choose, tap Range, tap the first and last photos in the range, and tap Next.
To use your photo in another app, open the app and select the Camera Roll album.

In Photoshop CS4, .png open/save support was provided by a plug-in. It is possible the plug-in has been deleted or moved, or has become unavailable to Photoshop because of a change in file protections.
Do you have the file PNG.8BI on your system. It should be here on a 32 bit Windows system:
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS4\Plug-ins\File Formats\PNG.8BI

Why can't I save a bookmark for a particular site in multiple locations? If I already have it saved, for instance, in the bookmarks menu, and I then try to save an additional copy into the bookmarks folder, the copy in the bookmarks menu will disappear. This is incredibly frustrating. Thanks.

Using the "star" at the right end of the Location bar, you can only save to one location.
Using the Bookmark Sidebar (CTRL+B opens and closes the Bookmarks Sidebar), you can drag the icon at the left end of the Location Bar to other locations, one at a time, into a folder (will be placed at the bottom of the items already in the folder) or into any position, including a position within a folder. The image below demonstrates; the image is old, but the method still works. This is the only method that I use for Bookmarking, as I place some Bookmarks in multiple folders and I keep the Bookmarks Sidebar open most of the time for easier access.

When you zoom you're not chnaging the image at all, just looking at more closely, like using binoculars. Using binoculars doesn't actually bring the object closer. So with zooming. I think you might want to explore cropping.

Just tested it... LR5 on Win7 correctly remembers the ICC profile settings in the print templates. Furthermore, internal settings of the printer driver (if printer-level color mgt is used) should be remembered, too (I didn't test this now). Which LR-version/OS are you using? Perhaps others can reproduce the problem.
Or do you mean why ICC profiles can't be embedded diretly in the print template file, e.g. to transfer them to another computer? This would be difficult because ICC profiles have to be "formally" installed in the operating system before use. Although LR could be able to use "local" profiles I suppose (but that wouldn't be a "clean" use of ICC profiles).

Yeah, if this is the way it's supposed to work its a useless and, dare I say, stupid "feature". Wouldn't the whole point of this be to have quick access to groups of pages. If I have to select them each time to create the group what is it doing for me?
