Why can't I scroll up and down on my trackpad?
Why can't I scroll using my trackpad?? It was working 10 minutes ago and now all of a sudden I have to use arrows to move up and down....what did I do??!!

Sometimes just a restart can help.

Why is the display on my icloud page so freaking large. It's magnified about a hundred times. It's like I can see only one letter at a time. I'm using a PC, but I recently bought an Iphone, so I was going with their technology. But this Icloud display thing is just a pain in the ***. I can't even use the scroll up and down feature. It's just a frozen solid block.
My display for iCloud on my desktop is the same. Magnified and can't find a way to fix it. It is the same for all the accounts in my family. It is magnified on my sign in page.

Why can't i scroll up and down in pages
I have created a newsletter in pages. All of a sudden I cannot scroll up or down to move between page 1 and 2 of my document. The only way I can get to page 2 is if I zoom out to about 50%. Then I cannot read the font. So frustrating. How do I fix this?

Why can't I check out and down load LR5? Are the servers overwhelmed? Very frustrating!!!!!!!
I had the same problem yesterday trying to upgrade 4 to 5 - I ended up doing the upgrade over the telephone, where the "nice lady" said they were having a few server problems. I say "nice" but she downright annoyed me by trying every angle she could think of to flog me a full cloud subscription

Why can't I scroll with up/down arrows in iTunes 10.5.2
After updating to iTunes 10.5.2, you cannot scroll up or down with the scroll arrows.
The lists only move two clicks when you hold the arrow. There is really is a bug.Really Annoyed is exactly right. This seems such a simple problem that it's crazy that it can't be solved.
Is it anything to do with iTunes being "overloaded" with files.
I have approx 130GB of music - and about half of them are AIFF files. Does that make a difference? -

Why am I recently unable to use my mouse to scroll email topics or content? I can only use the up and down arrows keys to scroll. I am able to use my mouse to scroll through internet searches. It only seems to have affected my email messages.
Try a restart.
Do a backup, using either Time Machine or a cloning program, to ensure files/data can be recovered. Two backups are better than one.
Try setting up another admin user account to see if the same problem continues. If Back-to-My Mac is selected in System Preferences, the Guest account will not work. The intent is to see if it is specific to one account or a system wide problem. This account can be deleted later.
Isolating an issue by using another user account
If the problem is still there, try booting into the Safe Mode using your normal account. Disconnect all peripherals except those needed for the test. Shut down the computer and then power it back up after waiting 10 seconds. Immediately after hearing the startup chime, hold down the shift key and continue to hold it until the gray Apple icon and a progress bar appear. The boot up is significantly slower than normal. This will reset some caches, forces a directory check, and disables all startup and login items, among other things. When you reboot normally, the initial reboot may be slower than normal. If the system operates normally, there may be 3rd party applications which are causing a problem. Try deleting/disabling the third party applications after a restart by using the application un-installer. For each disable/delete, you will need to restart if you don't do them all at once.

My wireless mouse has stopped scrolling up and down. I have checked my settings and everything looks good. Any suggestions on what else to check?

I wish my suggestion had gotten you further.
I do suggest you try to connect the keyboard again. The request for a number is a step in it trying to pair. If it gets by the number, it sometimes takes a little while to get connected. If you are unable to get it connected and want a new one, I have been using Apple Bluetooth keyboards for years - and I like them. The one I have (the newest model) only uses two batteries and is very thin.
Speaking of batteries, if you are not already doing so, you might consider rechargeables. I have a drawer full of them and use a 15 minute charger. I go tired of buying batteries and rechargeables are environmentally friendly to boot. At the moment, I use 2450 mAh Energizers and a 15 minute Energizer charger (all purchased new on eBay at a very reasonable price).
I am far from an iPad "expert," although I have one. If my suggestion below does not help, post your question in a separate thread in the iPad forum.
I had a terrible time syncing my iCal on my Mac with my iPad iCal (confusing - hopefully it makes sense). I quit using iCloud as that added to the confusion. There is a facility to one-time sync items. When you connect your computer to your iPad, iTunes opens. The system begins a process (automatic backup and so on). After it finishes, you can click on "info." At the bottom of the screen, there is an advanced section. You can select any of the items and then force it to sync. The iCal information from your computer would be deposited on the iPad.
After all that, I do not use a Google calendar so the information may be worthless to you.
If you want to reset the iPad to factory settings, you can do that when it is connected to iTunes (one of the options). Me being me, I try never to erase anything.

i just received my macbook from the apple store and can't get the track pad to swipe at all it will scroll up and down but no other features work!! all works on the magic mouse though!!
any help would be greatly appreciated>Preference>Trackpad.

You would need to talk with whoever manages/admins the Connect account you use. They will have access to your user account and the ability to reset your password.

It sounds like you're noticing unusual behavior with your iPhone screen. If the screen seems to shake or jitter when you scroll up and down, I recommend these steps:
Try to restart your device. If you can't restart, reset your device.
If restarting or resetting doesn’t fix the issue, restore your device.
If you still see the issue after you restore, contact Apple Support.

Can't scroll up and down in Safari
Ever since updating to Safari 6.1 (running on Lion) I've been having problems using the find function (command-f). After I use the find function, Safari either won't let me scroll up and down on the page, or it will let me scroll but the text becomes inverted, garbled and in other words impossible to read. The only solution is to quit Safari and re-open. Has anyone else had this issue and do you know of a fix??
The same thing is happening to me, but not when I use the command + F shortcut. It just happens randomly. Pages won't scroll, and if they do, parts of the page turn upside down and are all garbled. I've attached some screen shots. I was worried this was a virus or malaware, but it's good to hear that's it's Safari's problem. Have you two figured out any solutions yet?
