Why can't I scrow down on websites

Do you mean with in a text box on a website? If so, use two fingers held together to scroll. If you mean something else, explain. If you're referring to a specific website, giving the link would be good.

Why can't I scroll down on windows of certain sites? Like the new BMO site!  Please help, I'm going crazy!

Use two fingers held together to scroll within a window on a web page.
The iPad User Guide is bookmarked for you in Safari. If you're new to iOS devices, you may want to give it a read through.
    Best of luck.

  • Why can't I sign into any website using Safari on my iPhone?

No matter the website, it will not recognize my password into the site. I don't understand. I can't sign into my school site, check my bank account, sign into paypal. Why won't it let me? I've double, triple, quadruple checked my passwords and they're all correct because I sign on my Macbook with them, but why can't I sign in on my phone? I even downloaded Chrome and they alll worked on Chrome on my phone. But I don't want to use Chrome Help me please?

I already looked at that discussion but cookies are enabled, and I never use private browsing. When I try to sign in it says that the login failed. It doesn't matter what website I'm on (except apple for some reason I can sign in on apple.com) it doesn't recognize my password. I've typed in everything correctly a dozen times. But Safari had saved my passwords before this started happening so the reason I know the passwords are correct is because I saved them on safari and would just go to the website sign in and my password was saved so id log in and it would work. But now it doesn't. And I don't know why. It works on my computer so I know the passwords are right. But why can't the websites on safari on my iphone recognize my passwords?

  • Why can't I even down load firefox when I get the adobe crash warning?

Why can't I download Mozilla firefox AT ALL. I had to uninstall it because I installed IncrediMail and it changed ALL my browsers to "My Start". I did not want or like this, so I uninstalled it, but it permanently changed my Mozilla and Google Chrome to My Start. Now I'm trying to put Mozilla back on, but my laptop won't let me. I just get the are you sure you want to install? This could do damage etc . I said yes once, and then it said the file is corrupt. The Adobe has crashed message appears also at that time. How can I load Firefox back on? Frustrating!!

    Hi shrinkrap305,
    Try going to http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/
    # Download the full installer to your desktop.
    # Close Firefox. Be sure that it isn't still running in the background.
    # Run the installer and re-open Firefox.
    Hopefully this helps!

  • Why can't I login to some websites since iOS 7 upgrade?

I can't login to a website from my iPad although the same login details work fine when logging in from my PC. This has started happening since the upgrade to iOS 7. Can anyone suggest why and what I can do to resolve this, please? Thanks for any advice.

It seems this is was not an iOS 7 problem after all. I was just using the wrong password! D'oh! The password field is pre-filled on my PC but not on the iPad. In my defence the error message I was getting said my email address didn't match their records. However I should have checked by typing the password in on my PC, which is what I eventually did.
After having so many problems with iOS 7 I guess i'm starting to jump to the conclusion that it is to blame for everything!
    Sorry for wasting everyone's time.

  • Why can I not scroll on some websites using my iPad

When I am on the online school website I am unable to scroll all the way down to view the entire assignment. I am assuming it is because there are multiple frames with different scroll bars. I have the ipad 2 and I have tried using 2 fingers, seeing if the site has different programs for using my ipad, but nothing seems to work. Should I try a firefox instead of safari?

Firefox is not available on the iPad - but the iCab Mobile browser is. You can identify the iCab browser as Firefox for Windows or for Mac. I am using it now. I never use Safari anymore - except when I tap on a link in an email and Safari automatically opens because it is the default browser.
If you want to look at another browser, take a look at iCab. It has a ton of great features.

  • Why can't I view a particular website in my Firefox browser?

I cannot view this website from my browser. However I can see it from Internet Explorer. All other websites open correctly in Firefox. I removed my old Bookmark, cleared my cookies and nothing.... help!

I am having this problem too. I cannot see the Royal Mail or Parcel Force websites. they load just fine with other browsers so it can't be a problem with my firewall.

  • Why can I not use any map website because I am prompted to download Maps Galaxy for Firefox which I do not want & am provided no opt out option?

I have attempted to use Google , MapQuest and Yahoo map and directions and cannot view the resulting directions because a message appears on the screen requiring me to download MapsGalaxy for Firefox toolbar. I am happy with what I can do currently with the map and direction web sites and do not care to download this toolbar but I am not even offered to opportunity to opt out. There is not even a description of the benefits offered if I would download the toolbar. I'm not one who enjoys being force fed things I did not request. What goes on and why am I being forced to download this toolbar in order to continue to use the map web sites? Thanks for your assistance.
I have a screenshot of the message but am unable to figure out how to include it with this detailed description.

    Hi,
Firstly I'd like to clarify myself: I'm not working for any hardware and software vendor. I've posted few times: they (all of them) don't sell printers, they sell inks because in many cases total cost of a new set of inks is more expensive than a new printer with inks (I know cartridges are not full). Since inks are very expensive, many people use chip resetters, continuous inks systems .... to reduce printing cost such as some thing like one of this.
    Regards.

  • Why can't i scroll down when viewing info on itunes

I currently trying to update my ipad with itunes, but when i try to update my calendars and emails  itunes won't allow me to scroll down the bottom options. Is there a way to scroll down???

"Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove the Cookies" from sites that cause problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
See [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]] and [[Troubleshooting plugins]]
If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the ''Safe mode'' start window.
You have to close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (on Mac: "Firefox > Quit")

After I had Voiceover on my triple-home click selection choices, I accidently turned it on. Now I can't scroll down to accesibility to turn it off, and I was stupid enough to take it off the triple-home click. Can anybody help short of reseting it?

    That's not working.

  • I can't download Adobe Flash Player - I had it installed, but now it isn't here. Why can't I get to the website?

In order to view certain catalogues online, etc. I need Flash Player. When I click a button to download, I get a screen that says Server Not Found. I can get to most websites fine, but this one always seems to be blocked, or something'

The installation site for Adobe Flash Player is:
    http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
Depending on whether you visit in Firefox or IE, you will be offered the appropriate player for that browser. Thus, you may need to visit with both browsers.
Alternately, you could download the installer files using direct links. You should always be suspicious of direct links to EXE files on a forum. Never run them immediately, always scan after downloading.
    Plugin version for Firefox:
    http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player.exe
    ActiveX version for IE:
    http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player_ax.exe
    Any luck?

  • Why can't I scroll down in a specific email anymore now that I've upgraded to Mavericks?

I upgraded to Mavericks over the weekend. I thought things were working fine (it took 5 installation failures before it finally installed properly), but now, I'm finding that I cannot scroll in an email within Mail. Instead, even though I have the email open and my cursor in the email rather than my inbox list, the inbox is scrolling down. Is there a setting I can change? Or is this one of the new Mavericks "benefits?"

This a bug with Mavericks.  You can close out mail and restart and may work again for a while.  I have not tried the cache file deletion as noted in another discussion (see more like this in side bar).

  • Can flash player slow down my website?

I , for one, consider that my website http://e-obiectesanitare.ro is slow enough with java only, but it could use some flash to become a little more alive.
I noticed that adding a facebook like box to my front page is enough to add 2-3 seconds to my loading time. Does flash usually require a lot of bandwidth? My loading time is about 2-3 seconds right now, and i wouldn't want to disturb it by much.
    Waiting for your answer.
    Sincerely , Dave

That entirely depends on the Flash content you put on the site.  If it is a high-quality, large video, then it will problably slow it down.

  • Why can't I link to any websites using Blogger?

I recently set up a blog using Blogger and the link button doesn't link me to any websites. The test link shows that everything is fine but the text, when published, doesn't have a link to anything - shows just the test. I have already contacted Blogger and posted this question and examples on their forums. I have been told that the links work perfectly on Firefox 3.6 and they are correctly set up with all the proper coding. No one seems to be able to give ma an answer. I can't get this to work in Explorer or Safari either.

Does the link work on a different device or a computer? It's possible the video they linked to is not available for viewing on a mobile device, or that the link is bad.
