Why can't I see Apple Tv on my iMac (Intel) anymore, it has occurred since I have update to the new OS X v10.9.4 software.
When my computer was set up I could view Apple T.V. on my computer, now I can't. I noticed this happened after I had upgraded my software. Help, please!

Every since my Bionic updated to the new Google Play Market, I can only download or update apps when I am in a WIFI location, regardless of the size. This is very upsetting. Does anyone know why this is?
Have you checked the app settings for the Play Store?
Motorola also has data or power management settings that can restrict how applications can downloads updates. -

I have several users who have updated to the new iOS 5 and now are unable to get to the apple store
I have several users with ipads who have updated to the new iOS5 and are now unable to access the itunes store. It loads about half way and then nothing. Any ideas on how to fix this?
Photo stream only keeps your photos for 30 days. After that, they are removed from your photo stream but not from any device that has already received them. Chances are, the 44 photos are from the last 30 days; the others are not there because they are no longer in your photo stream.
If the photos were in your camera roll when you last backed up, restoring to the backup should recover them. However, you will have to restore to the entire backup to do so. If they weren't backed up or imported to your computer, there is no way to recover them now.

Since I have down loaded the new software my wifi does not work. I have been to a apple store and they said its a hardware issue. My phone was fine before the down load.

I have updated to the latest version of iPhoto. But now iPhoto will not let me amend the preset text in the text boxes.
the text is highlighted for a nano second but it will not stay highlighted so that I can add my own text.

In most cases you can simply "upgrade" (meaning downgrade) directly from the installation. It would be a good idea to save your passwords & bookmarks just to be on the safe side. -
Why Can't I see or access my external hard drive anymore using finder
I have a MacBook using Lion 10.7.5 and I use a Seagate 1 TByte external hard drive to store large photo and video files so that these won't take up space on my system hard drive. I also use the drive to share files with friends, colleagues and family members. Just recently I was no longer able to see my harddrive when I plugged it into the USB port on the Mac. However, when using the Disk Utilities, I was able to see the hard drive but could not access or see the files. Therefore the USB cable and USB port is working from a hardware perspective. The light also was on when I plugged the hard drive into the USB port so I know the hard drive is working. I brought the laptop and hard drive to my local Apply store to see if they could determine the problem. They did everything I already did regarding the testing of hardware. They recommended that I reload my software because something in the OS must have gotten corrupted. I re-installed the OS and the updates to the version. The re-install DIDN'T help. Using Bootcamp with Windows XP which is installed on my MacBook, I wanted to find out if Windows would recognize the hard drive and also give me access to the files. Using Windows, I was able to now see the drive and access the files. I now know the hard drive works, the USB cable and port is working and windows gave me the ability to access all of the files.
THE FIX: The hard drive was stuck in the Windows Mount Mode and because of this, the Mac OS was not able to recognize the hard drive using finder in Mac OS. When I was still in Windows, I ejected or dismounted the dick prior to removing the hard drive from the MacBook. I then shut down Windows and restarted the Mac OS. Once the system was fully up, I plugged the hard drive into the MacBook via the USB port. The Hard Drive is now being recognized by my Macbook once more. I can again access all my files.
HOW THIS PROBLEM OCCURRED: While sharing my hard drive with a colleague to transfer some files on a PC using Windows, the colleague disconnected the hard drive from the PC after the files were transferred by pulling the USB cable out of the USB port without a software dismount or ejection. This caused the hard drive to hang in a "windows mounted state" even though there was no power to the hard drive. When peripherals are connected to either a Mac or PC systems, they should always to properly dismounted via a software dismount or a system ejection. Proper dismount of peripherals will always insure the closure and correct allocation of data within the booting sectors and data fields of the hard drive.ld3mb wrote:

have you restarted the iPhone? if not, press and hold both the sleep and home button until screen goes black and apple logo come up, then release them. Let me know if that helped.

SADLY not as i downloaded an upgrad to my original PAGES/
i have in the meantim had to open www.icloud. then from there import the file that i am working on and then check on ipad if it uploaded/ yes it did.
but what a waste of time as it doesn not save any changes done automatically back in the cloud....
i am now downloading the new LION and hope that it will fix the problem
i cant find any other way. I was lead to believe that you wrote, it saved automatically, on to the cloud, you then opened anohter device in anotother country even, and the new file was there, waiting, in its latest version.......
and the same magic was supposed to happen in reverse.

if i have to open a browser, go to www.icloud....why on earth did they not just leave us an icon to drop it in in that case?

Why can't I see who I shared a photo with anymore?
In the past, if I shared a photo via email I would see the details under info of who I sent the photo to. A great feature to prevent repeats. I can't see it anymore. Where did it go?
You can see who is host under tecnical details in the call menu, when in a call. For your second request, do you want to se if lets say contact x is calling contact y in your contact list, or if someone is currently in a call?
For obvious reasons this would have to be an opt in option, which I'm not sure many people want for privacy reasons. -
I've tried to go into manage my account it only has my current e-mail address and I can't click forgot password for the old apple id because that e-mail is no longer active.

I have set my homepage to ATT but the toolbar and my previous bookmark list is missing. I can't pull up the toolbar. I have read the troubleshooting page but it does not give me an answer. I need my toolbar. I am not sure that I like this new upgrade with firefox. What am I doing wrong? I have configured my Norton 360 to allow Firefox but it has not helped. Thank you for your help!
There is a OneClickdigital ereader available in the App Store. Download that to your iPod to read pdfs and books from the library. And you might need to download the OneClickdigital eaudio player to listen to audiobooks from the library. Once both are downloaded sync you iPod again to transfer them.

I recently updated all of the computers in the house to itunes 11. Now when we try to import songs from homesharing, we are unable to. What happened to the conveniently located "import song" button on the old version of itunes. Please help an old mother out please!

solved the issue today. first sync with itunes, so all the stiff you bought on the mobile will be backuped.
1. uncheck sync music in itunes and sync. all the music will be erased from mobile device
2. check music player on the mobile device. just the unwanted songs will still be there
3. go on the iphone to settings, general, usage, music player. there is just a few mb from the remaining unwanted songs. swipeleft and erase the content. switch iphone off and on again
4. repeat step 2. there will be no data. otherwise repeat step 3
5. check sync music in itunes and sync. all the music will be back again but not the unwanted songs.
