Why can't I see videos on QVC web site?

When I am on the QVC.com web site the videos don't play. Help.

So what happens when you try and watch a video on YouTube or elsewhere? Do you get an error message? Are you able to search for videos at all? What if you go to YouTube in the app versus in the browser? Any change there? There shouldn't be any settings for watching videos, but you may want to uninstall and reinstall your app if it works on the browser. Please try powering the device off for about 30 seconds and powering it back on. Please keep us posted!

Why can't i see instant messages on some sites anymore

on some websites i could access instant messages like a chat. since updating i can no longer see them. please tell me how to fix this

Why can't I play videos on the web?

When I try to watch videos from twitter or download videos from the web, it doesn't work! The screen just stays blank and nothing happens! Please help someone!

Depends entirely on the webpage that's serving them. Some will have an HTML5 or other non-Flash way to supply video to mobile devices. For example, the Youtube app in iOS uses HTML5 to display all Youtube videos.

Can no longer view videos on Apple web site

I'd like to watch the new iPad videos on Apple's web site but my iMac no longer loads them. I can view You Tube videos, movies, Quicktime etc. But on the Apple web site the video never loads. Any ideas why this might be? OSX 10.7.3 3.06 GHz Core Duo, 4G RAM.

If you having problems watching WWDC Keynotes, tutorials or Trailers on the Apple website, check your Quicktime Player 7 settings in System Preferences:
Under Streaming, set for Automatic, enable Instant On and Play Immediately.
Under Advanced, click Mime Settings and ensure that Streaming (both kinds) are enabled.
Note that if you are running Snow Leopard you should be using Quicktime Player 7 and not Quicktime 10. Snow Leopard does not have a QuickTime System Preference pane. No MIME Settings options. No streaming settings. If a User has migrated from 10.5.8 then those settings have moved over (but no changes can be made). QuickTime Player 7 is in your Applications/Utilities folder (if you've got it installed). If not you can install it from the Snow Leopard DVD (Optional Installs).

Why can't I see videos correctly?

Out of the blue, the online videos started to play in slow-motion, and the sound was distorted. I ask some friends, read some troubleshooters, followed the instructions, re-installed Flash Player, checked to see if it was the latest version, etc. The problem is still there, the videos are still in slow-motion. I use Opera as default browser, but I've checkked on Mozilla too. Slow-motion videos on Mozilla as well. Please help, what else should I do to see the videos properly?

Why can't I see video thumbnails in Photo Booth anymore?

I recently upgraded to Mavericks on my 13" Mackbook Pro Retina and it seems when I open the Photo Booth application, it only shows me thumbs of the photos, not videos now. It does say that I have 27 videos, but they're not viewable/accessible so I don't know how to get to them.
Anyone else have this issue or know how I can get the thumbnails back?

Called Apple, they had me restore the Photo Booth Library file from my Time Machine, worked great, only lost 2 photos that I had taken since my most recent back up.

Why can't I see videos taken with my iphone when I transfer them to my pc.

Honestly, it's a bit hard to say. No need to be quite so stingy with information.
As a conundrum, I'd guess that some of your images have off-line Masters. Aperture cannot export images with off-line Masters.

Why can I not see Norton's approval of sites?

Before the new update, I could see my antivirus, Norton's approval of which sites are safe to go. Now, after the update, I cannot see the Norton's check mark or anything that says it is okay to use.

Your iOS apps are not stored in your iCloud data and you should use iTunes to remove them.
Photo Stream merely pushes your photos to your other devices. You can't view them at iCloud.com.

Every since I downloaded Firefox, I cannot view video clips on a webpage, they have to be downloaded to Firefox downloads and then viewed on Real player. This is very inconvenient. How do I go back to the way it used to be prior to downloading Firefox?

Why can I not watch videos on the apple site on my MacBookPro?

Every time I try to view a video on the apple website (tutorials, adverts etc) I get an error message saying:

The file you are trying to play failed to finish downloading and can no longer play.

That shouldn't happen on an Apple video site. Which browser & OS are you using?

Why can't I see some images on web pages? A blank box appears and when I click on it, it tries to come up and eventually just says 'done'

Once you save that to a location on your system.
Make sure Acrobat is Quit and then do this:
1. In the Finder go to the "Go" menu.
2. Select Go to Folder
3. Paste this path into the "Go to the Folder:" field
/Applications/Adobe Acrobat XI Pro/Adobe Acrobat Pro/Contents/Resources/JavaScripts/
4. Copy the file into the JavaScripts folder.
5. Launch Acrobat
Now you should see the menu spoken of in the blog and web page.
