Why can't I select imessages and email them?

I used to be able to select from an imessage string and forward the string as an email.  Now it appears to "go" but doesn't appear in my email account.  What can I do?

Look at my sample iMessage snap shot. The forward button at the bottom part of the screen, you don't see that in your iMessage conversation?

    A couple of methods.
    If you want the bookmarks on the other computer to be replaced with the bookmarks on your current computer, follow the procedure in the [[Backing up and restoring bookmarks]] article to backup the bookmarks to a json file which you can email, and then restore those onto the other computer.
    If you want to add the bookmarks to the other computer, but still keep the bookmarks that are already on the other computer, you need to export them to an html file. To do that see [[Exporting bookmarks to an HTML file]]. You can email the html file, and import it to the other computer, for details see [[Importing Bookmarks from an HTML File]].

    Hi, I own an iPhone 4, recently I restored it and now I can't activate iMessage and FaceTime using my phone number.
    I read and performed all the steps shown in apple troubleshooting article about activating iMessage and FaceTime and that didn't work either.
    Before restoring the iPhone both iMessage and FaceTime were working just fine...
    Why is that? What can I do?

    Are you talking about cut/paste within an application (i.e.: Word, Textedit) or Finder? (i.e.: cut/move file to folder or external hard drive.) Finder doesn't have cut, just copy. As to why, you'd have to ask Apple.

    My ability to successfully dictate email and text messages is erratic. Some times it works fine and other times, I just see the flashing purple circles and nothing ever gets transcribed. Lately this has been happening even when Siri is working fine. Has anyone else run into this? Any ideas on how to fix it?

    LMFAO!!!  I've tried all your recomendations of turning $h)t on and off all f'n day.  Nothing works with today's outage!  Nothing!  Siri works to look things up, but does NOT work as text or email transcript.  Very frustrating!!!

    You have to make the selection active.
    Go to Select>all, then Select>modify>border.
    Another way is to use a stroke:
    Open your picture file
    Go to Select>all
    Open a blank layer above this
    Go to Edit>stroke(outline) selection. In the  dialog, enter the width of the stroke, choose color, place it inside, ok it.
    If you don't like the border, delete the layer with the stroke, and adjust to suit, then do it over starting with step #3

    You might want to try contacting Apple for assistance by going to https://expresslane.apple.com, then click See All Products and Services>iTunes>iTunes Store>Passwords & Security Questions>Lost or Forgotten Apple ID password.  They should be able to explain what's going on and help you reset the password for the old ID if necessary.  The call should be free.

    Why can't I remove iMessage from iCloud backups?
    I've noticed that my iCloud backups are constantly hitting their 5GB max, even after clearing out camera rolls, etc.
    After some testing, I've found that iMessages are also backed up.   For someone like me, I'm constantly sending pictures / videos to friends and family, having a little guy under a year old (but that's not important).
    In any case, it seems you can set iCloud backup for just about every app EXCEPT iMessages.   The only way I've found to solve this is to constantly delete message threads from my iPhone, so that they aren't taking up iCloud space.   But this honestly is a bit of a pain (okay, only a little bit)...  why can't I keep my messages around for as long as I want, without backing them up? 

    Make sure you have their icloud email they use for imessage in their contact information before sending them an imessage.

    I can no longer select text in email template or read only field using my mouse in IE or Firefox anymore. We are using CRM 2011 rollup 18 applied with IE 11 and the latest version of Firefox. We only applied roll up 18 in Feb when this issue began.

    When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
    (1) Bypass Firefox's Cache
    Use Ctrl+Shift+r to reload the page fresh from the server.
    (You also can clear Firefox's cache completely using:
    orange Firefox button ''or'' Tools menu > Options > Advanced
    On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now")
    (2) Remove the site's cookies (save any pending work first) using either of these. While viewing a page on the site:
    * right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
    * Alt+t (open the classic Tools menu) > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
    Then try reloading the page. Does that help?
    These features rely on JavaScript, and it sounds as though you have scripting enabled if you get (the wrong) color changes. Some add-ons might alter the way scripts operate, so a standard diagnostic to bypass interference by extensions (and some custom settings) is to try Firefox's Safe Mode.
    First, I recommend backing up your Firefox settings in case something goes wrong. See [[Backing up your information]]. (You can copy your entire Firefox profile folder somewhere outside of the Mozilla folder.)
    Next, restart Firefox in Firefox's Safe Mode ([[Safe Mode]]) using
    Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
    In the dialog, click "Start in Safe Mode."
    If those features work correctly, this points to one of your extensions or custom settings as the problem.
