Why can't i send e-mails over my icloud account to new .guru domains?

This is the second time in three months this has occurred. Bell Aliant suggested I contact Apple directly as the only option is to remove my e-mail account and reconfigure it. This will mean losing all my files. These files are very important as my account is a business account.
Bell Aliant thought perhaps it is an Apple problem and that Apple may better be able to remedy the situation without me losing my e-mail files.

An Internet email provider losses all your Mail and it's Apple's fault ??
Did they explain how the app managed to delete all of your mail and then not even let you have access ?
If that was the case the app should still be able to access the empty folders.
I know there is often blame and counter blame in these situations but there are limits.

1) what email account (is it just iCloud's @me.com/@mac.com or do you have a problem with any other email accounts, like google)?
2) What happens when you try to send an email?
3) Did you formerly use MobileMe - if so, did you remove the account in the mail app and create a new one to iCloud?

Because there is no iCloud photo viewer. You need to move them to your computer or your iOS device to view them. Photo stream is just a mechanism to share photo's across multiple devices - it is not an online permanent storage, nor an online viewer feature.
Photo stream storage space is not even part of your personal iCloud account - it is separate, intended for temporary (max. 30 days) storage of photos solely to allow you to copy them onto other devices.

Why can't I sent e-mails over wifi?

I have a brand new Passport with 10.3.0.675 software release. I am in Luxembourg and my carrier is POST.
I have an issue with Gmail - when on mobile network (with data plan), I can send and receive e-mails correctly.
But when I turn off data plan and turn on wifi, I still receive e-mails which were sent to my Gmail account, but I cannot send any - all my outgoing e-mails are 'waiting' to be sent. Same issue for Outlook.com
The problem happens both on my home wifi and other wifi's, including public ones.
Anyone knows what the problem might be? I would really like to have the possibility to send e-mails via wifi.

are the accounts in question using POP/SMTP? if yes then your ISP is blocking them
For outlook .com you can use Active Sync which wont have that issue.
GMail blocks active sync on non droid devices which is why i moved my accounts to Outlook.com

Why can't I send e-mail when connected to some WiFi networks?

At times when I can connected to other WiFi networks, I cannot send e-mail.
I'm not sure if this is something in the settings for my e-mail, or related to the WiFi network.
I am able to receive e-mails at that time.

Check that you have set up the OUTGOING server as well as the incoming server. Follow the instructions in this technical support article to get to your outgoing server configuration. If none is configured, use the instructions to add the outgoing server according to your email provider's instructions. If one is configured, verify that it is set up correctly.

Why can't I send a mail from an iPhoto Album in Safari

After uploading an album from iPhoto I open the gallery in Safari 3.2.1.
Then I get the option of sending a mail under "Tell a friend". I enter my mailadress and the addressees' mailaddress and then I try to enter the scrambled letters in the designated box. However these don't get accepted and another set of letters appear and I have to try again. This continuous ad nauseam.
In the iPhoto-forum someone suggested I clear the cache but that didn't help, also that I delete the browsers preference file. So I removed com.apple.Safari.plist. That helped for a couple of hours, but now the problem has reocurred.
Anybody has any ideas please? Thanks

I have meanwhile installed Firefox 3.0.5, but that doesn't solve the problem. So it maybe isn't a Safari problem?

You probably have incorrect information in your Yahoo Mail account settings on your iPhone. Check them against what Yahoo recommends.

Can I transfer my email address from old iCloud account to new iCloud account?

Hi Guys,
Basically I left the Apple ecosystem a year or so ago, I have recently purchased myself an iPhone 6 and decided I wanted a fresh start so decided to create another account.
The only problem is I still use the old email and if possible I'd like to close it on my old account and have it transferred to my new one, is this possible? I'm not too fussed about losing calendars or contacts as I successfully transferred those over.
So yeah, basically can I have my other email address moved over to the new account?

You cannot transfer your iTunes account to your iCloud account. However you can change its login to another non-Apple address. Go to http://appleid.apple.com and click 'Manage your Apple ID'. Sign in with the current ID. Where it says 'Apple ID and primary email address' and gives your current ID email address, click 'edit'. Enter your new address (which cannot be an Apple address) and click 'Save changes'. Now open iTunes and sign out; sign back in with the new login address.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
All email accounts have some sort of restriction on file size. Personally I thought the file size restriction on iCloud was larger than that, however there is always going to be some restriction.
If you have large files that you wish to share with others, your best approach would be to place them on a server and send a link to your recipient, so that they can download them themselves.

Why can't I send any mail?

I can not send/forward/reply email. The send icon at the top left is not highlighted and when I put cursor on it and hit it, it does nothing. What is going on?

Confirmed workarounds:
* While composing an email open the address book and select the list you are trying to send to, highlight all the names in the list and drag them to the To: box. This uses your existing data without modifying it.
* Replacing the blanks " " between the words in such lists' descriptions with an underscore "_". This requires modifying your mailing list(s) description(s).

Why can I not send e-mail under Share option?

When I attempt to send pics fm iPhoto using Share, the To address blanks out and I get a msg: The email server didn't recognize your username/password combination. How can I correct this?

Do you have iPhoto set as the email client in iPhoto's General preference pane?
If so then go into iPhoto's Accounts preference pane, delete the email account that's there and then add it back again.
Or a better solution: set Mail as the email client in iPhoto via iPhoto's General preference pane. That will give you better access to Contacts, a sent copy and, if you want a layout like iPhoto provides, you can use Mail's photo stationary.

Do you know if the smtp server uses a certificate?
Did you already check the settings under advanced? Just see if the authentication method and server is still correct.

Probably because your smtp setting is configured for your regular isp and they likely, as do many, do not allow sending email using their smtp server when you are not connected to their network. Contact your isp and ask them, or look at their site for the smtp settings for using their smtp server when not on their network. This is a spam prevention measure employed by most ISPs.
