Why can't I set any reminders in my iPhone 4s?

Ever since the iPhone ios 7.0.4 update, I have not been able to set any reminders in my phone it's very frustrating and I don't nuderstand why it's doing this?! I can't set reminders, I can't create new lists, I can't even edit the FEW and FAR BETWEEN reminders that I am able to input!! The whole point of me getting an iPhone was so that I would be able to set reminders and appointments and things in my phone, but obviously that's too much of a difficult task for Apple to assist me with! I rarely complain about anything, but I have a lot of important meetings and dates that I need and would like to store in my phone so that I don't have to lug a calender or a planner around but that's clearly what needs to be done! I may as well go back to having an Android, GET IT TOGETHER APPLE

We are all users here trying to help users solve problems with their iPhones. Ranting to us does not help solve your problem.
The first thing to try is to quit the Reminders app and reset the phone like this:
Double click the Home button to show the screen with running and recently used apps. Each app icon will have a sample page above it. Flick up on the page (not the app icon) and the page will fly away and the app icon will disappear. This quits that app. Then reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. You will not lose data doing this.
After you try this let us know if it helped or not.

    I am assuming it's not a problem with the iPhone has I have tried several iPhones and had the same problem.

    When I go to iTunes, and open my purchased folder and open Recent purchases. It shows me what I have purchased, when I click on the cloud icon next to the song it prepares to install, but then says download error, tap to retry.
    It then. Comes up with a blue error message asking if I want to retry or not.
    My phone also will not sync with my iTunes account on my mac at home, could be to do with the phone hardware having changed?
    I do not use iTunes Match

    App purchases are permanently tied to the ID with which they were purchased. They cannot be transferred to a new ID.
    You will have to enter the password for that ID or delete the apps and re-purchase them with the new one.

However, because you reminded me to have another go at this problem, i tried something else (which i'd unsucsessfuly tried before), that is, i deleted the 'CLICK & SAVE " a/c i'd set up recently,  and reverted to my previous payment me and would you know it , this time it worked !! I set up a trail purchase and it worked.
    It seems to me that other poeple with this problem have to solve it by trail and error, but thank you for your help.Sandystone..

    1. Right click speaker icon (right hand corner)
    2. Select Playback devices
    3. Right click Speakers
    4. Enable it and set as Default
    5. Click Apply/Ok

    Your site is a CCM site which is on a WebBasics plan (This plan does not provide hosted emails on Business Catalyst).
    If you want to create email addresses on this site, you would need to setup your email server elsewhere and configure the MX records on your site to point to that external mail server.
    If you want to use Business Catalyst's hosted email services you would need to use a WebBasics+ or higher siteplan. To upgrade your CCM free site, Access your site's admin area  -> Site Management -> Upgrade Now -> choose the desired site plan and billing frequency -> Add personal and credit card details -> Submit.

    After reading your post, it sounds like you are experiencing an error with the Podcasts app. You may want to consider restarting the device first, and then resetting if that does not work. This article provides detailed instructions for Restarting, and Reseting:
    Turn your iOS device off and on (restart) and reset
    How to restart
    Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button on the top of your device until the red slider appears. Then drag the slider to turn your device completely off.
    After the device turns off, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button again until you see the Apple logo.
    How to reset
    You should reset your device as a last resort and only if you can't restart it.
    To reset, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

    Why can I not download any apps to my Itouch Gen 2?
    SO, I just purchased 2 4th gen ITouch’s and a 2nd gen Ipad for my kids. All is well and fine however my second gen device is toast so I am using one of my kids older 2 gen ITouch. My kids had been complaining that they could not download anything on the 2nd gen devices but I figured they were doing something wrong, my bad. The device has Netflix that works just fine but I am finding that if I were to delete the app and did not have it backed up I would not be able to get it back from the appstore. The device has been taken care of and is in good working order,  but I am finding that Apple has chosen to no longer support IOS4.2.1 which I get. However I would expect that at a minimum I would be able to download any app that was available for the 4.2.1 os at the time the next version was released.
    Drive space it cheap and ****** off customers are expensive.
    Apparently Apple has planned obsolescence built into their business plan which I am finding pretty hard to swallow.
    I just purchased over a grand worth of new devices and I am wondering if that was wise since apparently apple will deem them obsolete in a couple of years. That great because the newer devises are great, however I have a devise that there is nothing wrong with and apple has made the choice to no longer support the devise and not allow applicable software downloads making the devise basically useless. This is not supporting your customers!
    I would hope that Apple changes their posture on this planned Obsolescence and backs its products durability with the ability to get applicable apps for the actual lifetime of the devise and not some 2 year window.
    I brought my concerns to the nearest apple store where they gave me some song and dance about how the older devise was not fast enough. This is probably true for the newer apps but I think if this was a limitation then ITunes should make the newest version of the app at the time of the app is available for the devise.
    Like I said drive space is cheap and this is like a row in some database.
    I am wondering if I will continue to buy apple products.

    What exactly means "can't"?

    Thx. That seems to have solved my problem. I don't know but just all of a sudden when I opened an emal there was no option at the bottom.  After doing as you suggested, now all the options are back. Quite confusing to me. I do appreciate your suggestion and fix.

    Insertion of APDivs/Layers are deprecated in CC. Historically, APDivs caused many, many problems for people who didn't understand they were not intended to be used as a primary layout tool.  Look at FluidGrid Layouts.
