I am trying to sign into the iCloud Control Panel and keep getting a server error message?

To solve this problem you can:
Windows 7
1) Click on Start
2) Type cmd and press enter
you will see a new window
3) type "netsh winsock reset"
4) restart the machine
should work.
If still does not work you must disable the firewall and antivirus

You can sign up for iCloud on an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 5 or later, or through System Preferences on a Mac with OS X Lion v10.7.4 or later. Just follow the setup instructions for your iOS device or Mac.

Why can't I remove iMessage from iCloud backups?
I've noticed that my iCloud backups are constantly hitting their 5GB max, even after clearing out camera rolls, etc.
After some testing, I've found that iMessages are also backed up. For someone like me, I'm constantly sending pictures / videos to friends and family, having a little guy under a year old (but that's not important).
In any case, it seems you can set iCloud backup for just about every app EXCEPT iMessages. The only way I've found to solve this is to constantly delete message threads from my iPhone, so that they aren't taking up iCloud space. But this honestly is a bit of a pain (okay, only a little bit)... why can't I keep my messages around for as long as I want, without backing them up?

Make sure you have their icloud email they use for imessage in their contact information before sending them an imessage.

How can I set up two iCloud accounts

I want to set up two different iCloud accounts for my wife and I. We both use the same account for buying apps but we want different iCloud accounts. How do I do that? Can I do that? Thanks for the help!

You can set up separate iCloud accounts for each of you and sign into your account on both your iPhone and iPad.
To change the account on her phone, go to Settings>iCloud and tap Delete Account, choose Keep on My iPhone when prompted. (This only deletes the account from her phone; not from iCloud.) Then sign in with a different ID to create her new account (and use this ID for iMessage and FaceTime too). After setting up the account on her phone, she can then sign in with the same ID on her iPad to sync iCloud data between her devices.
You can then sign into you iCloud account using your ID on your devices, and both of you can continue to share the same ID in Settings>iTunes & App Stores.

Welcome to the Apple community.
You can add more than one account to your iPad, but you can only have one primary account. Secondary accounts which you can add at settings> mail, contacts, calendars do not have all the features of a primary account such as photo stream.

Can I set up multiple iCloud accounts

Would like to set up more than one iCloud account, each with own calendars and contacts and be able to access readily from all my devises. I realized can create separate calendars & contact groups within an account but I want complete separation.

I believe if you go to Mail, Contacts, Calendars you can set up another iCloud account, but I believe you can only sync data between one account at a time.

I'm having a similar problem, but I do have the key and is not working anyway.
My old pc was running on windows 7 and my new one is an apple running on Lion.
My phone is an Iphone IV and I can see all the bookmarks there.
In order to sync, what I did was click on the "I don't have the device with me", I entered the key that was provided and the process finish ok. It says congratulations, etc, etc.
But the bookmarks are not there, I tried merging data and replacing data on this computer options but is the same.
Any suggestions?

Be sure you are checking the email account that you used to set up the Apple ID you used to create the iCloud account. Also, be sure to check your spam/junk folder as well as your inbox. The email you should receive looks like the image below. When you get it, click the Verify Now link.
If it still isn't there, try going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage your Apple ID, sign in, click on Name, ID and Email addresses on the left, then to the right look for a link to resend the verification email.

My device keeps prompting me for the password every few minutes after updating to iOS 8, and I've tried every option possible to retrieve the password, but I don't even know the answers to the security questions and I can't find the password reset email anywhere and I don't know the back up emails my mum used. I literally cannot find any legitimate way to sign out of the initial iCloud account without entering a password (which neither I nor my parents know). I have the same problem - it is maddening. I rely on this iPad for work so this is not just an annoyance! The above solutions of changing the appleid on the device or on the website do not work.
The old email address no longer exists - I haven't used it in a year probably and I no longer have the account. I logged into the appleid website and there is no trace of the old email address so there is nothing that can be deleted or changed there. On the iPad there is no trace of the old email address so nothing can be deleted there either. I have updated the iPad software and the same problem comes right back. Every 2 seconds I am asked to log in using the old non-existent email. The device is currently useless.
The only recent change to anything was the addition of an Apple TV device, which was set up using the correct login and password.
Does anyone have any ideas? The iPad has been backed up to the iCloud so presumably it now won't recognize the current iCloud account? So restoring may notbe an option?
