Why can't I share any videos on my iPod touch?

Whenever I go to share one of my videos on my iPod touch, I select which ones I want and select share, but then no buttons pop up or anything. There aren't any options like when I go to send photos. Anyone have an idea of why this is happening?

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

So I recently bought an iPod touch, and I haven't had trouble with it until now. I downloaded a free TV show extra thing and it's in HD & SD, and it downloaded fine and everything. But when I tried to add it to my iPod, a popup comes up with the message: "Blah blah blah" was not copied to the iPod "Michaela's iPod" because it cannot be played on this iPod.
Why? I tried to do the "Advanced Settings" and convert it, but the convert option is grayed out and I can't choose it. I thought the iPod touch could play HD (and I do have another HD video on it currently), so why can't I add this new HD/SD video to my iPod? And I know there's enough space because I have 24.6 GB free space.

I have some videos that are stored in Videos app. But there appears to be no way to share these from one device to another. Why not?
Is there a simple workaround?

The Video app generally contains videos that were purchased or rented from the iTunes Store. They are copy protected and can't be shared.

IPads and iPod Touches don't seem to have the same media copying restriction that my iPhone has. My main computer is at home. I have music at home and at work and sometimes I like to add it to my iPhone from work. I can do this no problem using my iPad or my iPod touch, but when it comes to my iPhone, I can only copy music to it from my main computer.
Why would the iPhone have this restriction but not the other two devices?
ps. Where's my "add currently playing song to playlist" button? I can't even find a third-party music app with this feature.

I have Itunes 9.0 and when clicking the "search for updates" button, i get the result "You have allready the latest verison installed 2.2.1".

Why can I not load ANY video on my iPhone5 over wifi?

It all happened at random, one day(about a week ago) videos over YouTube or anything else would not seem to load. I know it can't be my wifi because the internet is fine, and whenever I go to the YouTube app EVERYTHING loads perfectly normal such as the thumbnails and video description all except the actual video! I've tried reseting by holding home and sleep button, I've reset sorted and reset my router, and I've tried network system reset on the phone... Nothing seems to work.

I think my internet is fine, I don't know what the problem is all of a sudden one day it just stopped loading videos. What happens whenever I go to YouTube: I open the app, all the videos load as if normal, but when I select a video to watch it buffers for a dreadfully long time and then I get a "playback error, try again" this is not just YouTube either it happens on any video I try to play.

You may have to convert them to a format compatible with the iPod. There are many variations of the MP4 format and all are not compatible with the iPod.
You man need a third-party program like the free HandBreak to convert them

Why can't I enable disk use on my Ipod touch?

I wish to use my ipod touch as an external hard-drive. I have watched videos on how to go about it and they show that there is a greyed out check box that must be checked. This check box does not exist for me. Why not? and is it possible to enable disk use?

You just be looking at instructions for the older iPods. None of the iOS devices such as the iPod touch have ever supported disk use. There are third-party utilities that purport to provide workarounds to allow such use, but I have no experience with any of them so I can't make any recommendations.

If you have an iPod Touch 2, iOS 4.2.1 is the last iOS supported on that device.
You will not be able to add newer iOS apps, but you still can choose from well over 60,000 vintage iOS apps.

Why can't I update the software on my ipod touch?

I have iOS 2.2 on my iPod Touch first generation and I can't update it. It says that iTunes cannot connect to the software updater driver of the iPod.I've tried everything I could think of and before and bring it to the Apple store for service or repair is there any other options or possibilities somehow to update the software on the iPod doing it by myself without going to the Apple store?

iTunes for Windows: iTunes cannot contact the iPhone, iPad, or iPod software update server

This may indicate a hardware issue with your device. Follow Troubleshooting security software issues, and restore your device on a different known-good computer. If the errors persist on another computer, the device may need service.
The "device may need service" means a hardware problem. In that case make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.
